10.6.7 and 2011-002 built in or seperate install?

Hey guys,
This should be a simple question, but is the 2011-002 security patch or the 001 included in the 10.6.7 update? Or is it a seperate install?
I would think its a seperate install but when i run apple update (i am running 10.6.7 server) it does not show the update.

There is no server sec update for SLS. Leopard has a security update for both client and server (and they are BIG files), but SL just has the client 2011-002

Also did you use Software Update to determine the update?

Diagnosis
The posting date entered is not within one of the permitted posting periods (current period/previous period).
This can be due to one of two reasons:
The correct current period has not been set in the system.
For the system, the first of the entered periods is the current period. At the beginning of a new period, your systems administrator must change the current period in the material master record, using the function "Shift periods". This has not yet been done.
You have entered a wrong date in the field "Posting date".
Procedure
Check the posting date and correct it if necessary. If your input is correct, inform your systems administrator that the "period shifting" (period-end closing) process has not yet been completed.
I have checked OB52, OB29, OB37, MMPV, MMRV. All possible T.codes and threads I tried from SDN itself, still no luck ! In OB52 I have opened 2011 & 2012 year open absolute.
Would like to share MMRV settings :-

All Oracle Sample Schemas and all Oracle Built-in Packages in XE?

I am trying to install Oracle 10g on my home system to improve my knowledge of PL/SQL. Because I'm doing it at home, I have to solve DBA issues I'm somewhat clueless about.
I would like to install Oracle 10g Express Edition and include the built-in packages (DBMS_OUTPUT, UTL_FILE, DBMS_UTILITY, DBMS_JOB, DBMS_JAVA, DBMS_RANDOM, etc.) as well as the Oracle sample schemas (HR, OE, PM, SH, and IX). None of these, except HR, is included in the express edition.
If necessary, I'd like to be able to install these things after installing the express edition. How can I do this?

There shouldn't be a need to install any packages. They should come preinstalled already.
If not, you can find them here:

Just be very careful before trying to install something into the data dictionary. If you are not experienced, you might mess up your database.
For example, utl_file is installed but invisible to most users, e.g. HR.
Look at this example:

Extending a 2007 Draft 'N' and 2011 Final 'N'?

What I need to achieve; Get an internet connection to my 2008 Mac Pro 3,1 (no wireless card installed, no access to phone lines or network cables - just power).
What I have; NetGear DG834GSP ADSL2+ Wireless (G+B) router and 2007 Airport Extreme MB053LL/A.
What I was thinking; Have the NetGear as the modem plugged into the Airport Extreme, and have the Airport Extreme as the wireless network. Then purchase a Airport Express and extend the Airport Extreme Wireless network into the study, where I will use a Cat5 cables from the Airport Express to the Mac Pro.
Will this work okay (the extending of the network between a 2007 Draft 'N' and 2011 Final 'N' Apple products)? I've read a lot of conflicting reviews, as well as conflicting information from Apple's call centre and I'd rather "extendent" the network as opposed to "WDC" as I've heard that decreases bandwith.

You are confusing an older method of providing more wireless coverage called WDS with a newer method used by "n" wireless devices called "Extend a wireless network".
Apple's intructions to do what you want are in the link below. Although the illustration shows two AirPort Extremes, the setup for an AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express would be exactly the same.

What is the spec difference between Time Capsule 2009 and 2011? I am looking at refurbished Time Capsules and the discriptions dont really help me.

No, it is not good.. but you have no idea of the history of the product. For a time capsule that matters. If it has been used for 12months, that comes off the lifespan at the other end.
For what you save buying new might be well worth it.

Early 2011 MacBook Pro incredibly slow after installing Mavericks

I'm really hoping someone can help me out. As per the subject line, I installed Mavericks on day one (and learned my lesson!).
Since installing Mavericks my MacBook Pro runs incredibly slow. If I open the Mail App and Safari - it almost grinds to a halt. I have the "Memory Clean" App which I now have to run constantly (it appears to help a little) and I try to only launch one app at a time where possible, but it's not really pratical.
As an aside, my MacBook ran really well with Mountain Lion, so there's little doubt to my mind that Mavericks is the culprit.
I'd be eternally grateful for any help & advice :-)

CleanMyMac is probably your problem.
CleanMyMac is crapware.
Crapware is anything that purports to "optimize", "clean", "accelerate", "monitor", or "protect" your Mac. These apps are unnecessary, poorly written, overpriced (if they were free, they'd still be overpriced), and harmful. The people who sell this stuff know this, but they keep selling it because people keep buying it. They can damage your OS and be difficult to uninstall.
I would try to uninstall it, but if that fails, you may have to erase your HD and do a clean install.

Yes, very annoying. Not unworkable though. We've a bucket load of different external devices too, tried all of them.
It's not common to one OS either - can't boot OSX DVD, Ubuntu, Win7.... Only way I can is via the internal SuperDrive when it's actually internal.
Even tried it with just 1 x Hard Disk & an External USB. No joy.
Obviously not annoying enough for me to try and find a solution I just work around it now. Interesting it's been the same on my last three MBPs though - no problem on both the Air's I've owned.

Just to confirm you have a macbook air right? If so and it is mid 2011 or later running OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion or newer you can mirror it. If home sharing is on and ATV and MBA are on same id and network you should get the airplay icon near the clock on the mac and that should mirror your screen.
If you have an older mac or pc a third party app called airparrot can do it for you.

Office 2004 Applications Won't Work in Lion
You must have Office 2004 which is a PPC-only suite and will not work in Lion. You need to upgrade to Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion.
You may want to consider as well:
