10.6.7 OD - Try to delete a computer account and it won't delete.

I am trying to clean out a problematic computer account in OD and it refuses to delete. I even enabled the "all records" inspector tab, selected the Computers list then selected the account then clicked delete. I get the typical warning, I confirm that I want the account deleted. Then I click refresh and the account is back, or never even deleted. The logs so far are unhelpful. Any ideas? I'm using 10.6.7 server.

I don't see a duplicate record. I ended up renaming the computer account in order to get it out of the way. The other funny thing with this account is I can go in and delete attributes using the inspector and they come back also. I'm half tempted to export all my computer accounts and groups then demote the domain and recreate it and reimport the good accounts.
I did a test with creating/deleting a user account. The user account would not delete until I changed its password type to crypt. There isn't a way to do something similar with a computer account?

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Launch iTunes. From the menu bar click Store / View My Account
Click: Edit Payment Information
Make sure you have the correct Security Code.
Then click: Done

Keep getting error regarding proxy server. Try to reset to no proxy and it won't reset to "no proxy"

I called my internet provider and had to reset the proxy for Google Chrome and Internet Explorer and they reset but I try to reset to no proxy and it resets to manual proxy and I uninstalled and restalled Mozilla but it still won't work. Go to HD>Library>Receipts - remove the iTunesX.pkg receipt. Drag the iTunes app to the trash.
Repair permissions with Disk Utility - reboot - then try to run the installer.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Did you check the format for your input, like yy/mm/dd or yy/dd/mm, mm/dd/yy etc.

Everything should be left intact after the update.....repair (Permissions) via the Disk Utlity before and after the update..
It is always a good idea to back up your data before doing any kind of system update....these folks are excellent in service and support for what they sell...

Encrypted backups are very secure.
Try every possible password you can think of. Try simply leaving the field blank also.

Warning: If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and then forget your password, you will not be able to restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable. If you forget the password, you can continue to back up and use the device, however you will not be able to restore the encrypted backup to any device without the password. Virtual computer accounts got deleted

Hi,
Two of the virtual computer names got deleted from AD and cant be restored.Cluster computer account still there and three of the other instances are running.
I tried recreating the virtual computer accounts and granted permissions to cluster computer account.
still i cant get the resource started saying GUID is wrong.I tried to update the registry GUID of vdb,

I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and sign into your infomation
> Go to Manage apple id and primary email address
> Change it to the old apple id that your device is asking for
> Save changes
> Go to Settings > iCloud and sign out of the infomation
> Go back to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
> Change it back to the correct apple id
> Go to the email address adn reverify the apple id
> Sign back into iCloud on your device

You will wait for the rest of your life. You need to fix it; no one else will. To turn off "Find my iPhone" and its associated Activation Lock you need the Apple ID and password that were used to turn it on. If you know the Apple ID you can contact Apple Account Security and have them reset the password (after you prove you are the rightful owner of that Apple ID). see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699.
If you don't know the Apple ID the phone is permanently unusable.

You can't merge accounts or copy content to a different account, so anything that you bought or downloaded via the old account is tied to that account - so any updates that those apps get you will only be able to download via that account. You can change which account is logged in on the iPad via Settings > Store
