10.6.8 Can I assign mouse events such as double-click right button to a keystroke?

I have an old Windows program (Click Tricks) that monitors for combinations of mouse events to trigger a keystroke shortcut.
I am able to use this application while running Windows/Parrallels but there must be an ellegant OSX way to do this.

I reset printer systems, and was only able to add Canon MG6200 series, either with Bonjour or Canon IJ Network, but cannot find the correct printer software for MG6250 (there is no option for any Canon MG printers) the only choice is Generic PostScript Printer.
I have tried using this, but the print job is not going to the printer itself, it appears that it is, but then under the canon print box, it simply dissappears.

At this point is the printer connected to the Mac via a USB cable?
Do you think that I should attach the printer with the old usb cable from my previous printer and try that appears to defeat the purpose of having a wifi printer Or will this simply allow the computer to find the printer and then I can remove the cable? Thanks

Double-tap on the Home button. You will see a preview of the app above the actual icon. Slide the preview up to kill it.

I cannot edit calendar events in google calendar. Also when clicking on a time slot to create an event the click gets stuck and it's scrolling to select time slot and the only way to get it unstuck is to reload the page. Other browsers work just fine.

Yes, but why would you want to? they don't take power, don't use data, and launch quicker if you don't close them. See: http://speirs.org/blog/2012/1/2/misconceptions-about-ios-multitasking.html

On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

My mac seems to be frozen on an internet page. I cant force quit. I can't control+options+command+esc. I can't access my activity monitor. I can see my mouse moving but when I click on anything, it doesn't seem to engage or recognize it. Fix?

Thank you. There is a bigger issue. It is not the web page that is the problem. It is that I can see my mouse moving and can move it along the bottom toolbar and the options will highlight but I can't click on anything. I can see the apple icon to get to force quit but cant click on it.
I used your suggestion and force quit came up but I can't select the option to force quit... not even with my arrows and enter/return key. Any other thoughts?

Can't open folders or emails by double clicking mouse

I can't open folders or emails by double clicking my mouse. I was using a corded Apple mouse, so I switched to a Logitech cordless optical mouse, still can't open them. I can open my folder with command O, but not email. Any suggestions?

This worked for me: I trashed my mouse prefs, then restarted, then -- goto System Prefs --> Keyboard/Mouse --> Mouse --> Double-Click Speed: Now move the speed a minimum of one notch below FAST.
Yesterday I installed a Logitech MX Revolution, cordless mouse and lost the ability to double click with it and with my Mighty Mouse. Resetting the double click speed below FAST miraculously reset.
All seems OK now.

I have stored files in my computer which are generated using my application.These files own my application specific file extension. I have registered the file association to windows registry and when each time the file is opened in OS environment (using double click or rignt click on the icon--> open etc.,).. i need to access the file's absolute path in order to open it using my application. How to track those system events (Double clicks, right click--> open etc.,)..can anyone help me out??..

Yeah.. the OS will pass the necessary information. How do my application will receive the parameter?.. That has to be done by my coding.. right??..
For example, if an .doc file is opened the OS will open MS-Word and how ll the MS-Word get those parameters. In the same way, how can i receive that parameters to my application..?..this is where i am struggling... i use J2SDK1.4.2_11 and Eclipse 3.1.

My undertanding is that when you double-click the home button, the apps that are shown are those that are currently active. The reason you are not seeing all of them is that not all of them are active. Before you can access an app in the multitask bar, it has to be turned on first. As a test, try accessing the Notes application. Return to the home screen by clicking the Home button ONCE. Once the home screen appears, double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar. The Notes app should be on the far left.

What do you mean? Are you not able to switch from "All pages" view of the book to a single page view by double-clicking a selected page? Or what is the problem?
Or can you not open the book at all from the source list?

You don't press and hold them. Just swipe up.

When using iphoto I can view the photos but when I double click on a photo it becomes a black box with a white circle on the screen

When using iphoto, I can view the photos but when I double click on 1 specific photo it enlarges to a black box with a large white circle in it...doesn't matter which photo I click on the end result is the same...black box with a white circle.

Those are not necessarily running. It's a list of previously opened apps for the most part. You can flick the cards upwards to get rid of them.
