[10.6 Server]Change default subnet InternetSharing

Greetings
I would like to change the default subnet for Internet Connection Sharing on Snow Leopard Server. The assistant that helps you setup this InternetSharing chooses 192.168.1.x and then works perfectly. But in our case we would like to have the subnet set to 192.168.0.x
I found an easy solution for Snow Leopard ‘client’ on this site (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20090510120814850), but it turned out not to comply with Snow Leopard Server.
Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance…

have you tried this hint?

    How to change default Server NFS version in Solaris 10 ?
    I need to change default version of NFS server version, currently i have NFS_SERVER_VERSMAX=2, for changing NFS version i changed this variable in /etc/default/nfs, but still its using version 2,
    Please let me know where else i need to change./
    Thanks a lot in advance!!!

    Did you change the /etc/default/nfs on the server or on the client?
    What is NFS_SERVER_VERSMIN set to? The NFS server is allowed to use any version in the span of NFS_SERVER_VERSMIN and NFS_SERVER_VERSMAX.
    NFS_SERVER_VERSMAX=4
    The default of NFS_SERVER_VERSMIN is 2.
    And, as mentioned, you will have to restart your NFS server for changes to take effect.

  • How to change default compile directory tmp_ejb?

    Dear all,
    Someone knows how to change the default directory "tmp_ejb...." in WebLogic Server
    7.0?
    This is the default directory where WebLogic Server 7.0 generates and compiles
    the EJB's declared in config.xml.
    I try to specify the attribute TmpPath="ANOTHER_TMP_LOCATION_DIRECTORY_FOR_EJB"
    in the EJBContainer node but still doesn't work.
    The same thing happens when I test this attribute on EJBComponent declaration.
    Someone knows if there is an enviroment variable that specify this tmp_ejb location
    path?
    It's false that the tmp_ejb is located where the config.xml file is placed.
    I have 3 weblogic servers and they haven't the same behaviour.
    Someone can help me??????
    Thanks.

    I ran into the same problem and was wondering if you got an aswer the question you posted in BEA's news group: "How to change default compile directory tmp_ejb?

  • PXE boot issue with DHCP and SCCM server on different subnets

    I'm working with a client on the operating system deployment module of SCCM.
    Their network configuration currently has a single large subnet for client
    computers with a DHCP server on the same subnet. The SCCM subnet is
    configured on a seperate subnet with no DHCP server on the subnet. We want to
    configure client computers to be able to boot using the PXE client to deploy
    OS images to the machines but can not get PXE-boot to work correctly.
    Also, the client does not want to make changes to their network
    infrastructure routers or switches to remedy this problem. Are there settings
    on the DHCP or SCCM servers we can implement to make this work? If so, what
    needs to be installed or configured on each server. We currently already have
    WDS installed on the SCCM server and the SCCM server is configured as a PXE
    Service Point within SCCM. Both WDS and the PXE Service Point seem to be working fine.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Bob,
    Default client as default login client or as RFC connection???
    Change default login client at RZ10 parameter login/system_client
    if you're talking about RFC connection just go to SM59 in the target system and change the client for the BW RFC connection...
    You may want to give us more details.

  • Can i change the subnet used by hotspot?

    Since upgrading to iOS 7, when I use the hotspot functionality of my iPhone, my PC shuts down every time I join the hotspot network. The subnet is 172.20.10.x. My PC seems to have issue with certain 172.x.x.x subnets. This did not happen prior to the upgrade to iOS 7.
    Is there a way to change the subnet that "hotspot" uses?

    If it is IIOP listener port of bundled AS then it can be changed either by direct editing of "port" attribute of corresponding "iiop-listener" tag in the server's domain.xml file or through Admin Console:
    - click "View Admin Console" on deployment server node
    - enter admin username/password
    - in the tree goto Configuration->ORB->IIOP Listeners

  • Change default Windows background during deployment

    I have a Windows deployment server up and running and deploying custom Windows 7&8 images which all work fine. I want to be able to change the default Windows background to a custom image during deployment so when a new user is created and logs in locally,
    my image is displayed rather than the default one. I know this can be done by changing an entry in the registry, but I would like some help in creating a script to do this during deployment and also where this script would have to be placed and how to run
    this. I am a noob at scripting and any help would be appreciated! ;)
    Thanks in advance

    I am using the process documented at the link below in my builds today with a lot of success. In addition to setting the background for every user, it will also allow for setting the colors and accents. Pretty good stuff from the guys at CoreTech.

  • Problem changing default key bindings using Oracle Terminal

    Hello,
    I'm facing a problem changing default key bindings using Oracle Terminal. I changed
    some bindings, saved them in forms60/fmrusw.res, started the generation and saved again.
    I thought that's it but it wasn't. It took no effect at all in Forms (even after recompilation) although reopening the file in Terminal showed the changes. I'm using Forms in German, which means that even the key bindings displayed in Forms are translated i.e. STRG+F1 instead if CTRL+F1,
    but I can't find a german version of this resource file, so i think it's the same resource file for all supported languages. But what is needed for the changes to take effect ?
    Thanks in advance
    STD

    Hi,
    is it client/server you are working?
    if so you should not be using the fmrusw.res file because I guess your NLS_LANG is German_Germany.WE8ISO8859P1 or something like that. This means the terminal that is being opened is fmrdw.res instead of fmrusw.res and this file should be edited using Oracle Terminal.
    if you are working via the web implementation than you can open the file fmrweb.res in a text editor and change the keybindings in there. If you need to have the PC like key bindings on the web just open the fmrpcweb.res and see if it contains the German texts. If so you can either copy this file over the frmweb.res file or you can specify term=fmrpcweb.res in the serverargs parameter.
    Hope this helps.

  • Change default settings when user share file

    When users click on share file default setting is:
    Can edit and mark send an email invitation.
    Is there possible to change to:
    Can view and NOT mark an email invitation

    Hi,
    According to your description, you want to change default settings to
    can view and uncheck send an email invitation when user share file.
    To by default uncheck send an email invitation.  Go to the file "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\AclInv.aspx".
    You can change:
    <wssawc:InputFormCheckBox
    runat="server"
    id="chkSendEmail"
    Checked="True"
    LabelText="<%$Resources:wss,aclver_SendEmailCheckbox%>"
    To
    <wssawc:InputFormCheckBox
    runat="server"
    id="chkSendEmail"
    Checked="False"
    LabelText="<%$Resources:wss,aclver_SendEmailCheckbox%>"

    To by default can view. Go to the file "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\AclInv.aspx".
    You can add the following code into the function _spBodyOnLoad():

  • Change default pabURI attribute

    Hi every one,
    I did a dedicated instance of Directory Server for Address Book listening on the same ip address but 1389 port.
    When i create a new mail user from Delegated Administrator, it assign to the user a pabURI attribute like this:
    pabURI: ldap://mailbe1-ds:389/ou=user,ou=People,o=mailservice
    I need to change default pabURI on DA from the one listed above to the following:
    pabURI: ldap://mailbe1-ds:1389/ou=user,ou=People,o=mailservice
    which file i need to modify ???
    Regards
    Caius

    Solved, changing messagging parameter "local.service.pab.ldapport" with configutil.
    It's not the DA to set pabURI attribute in user profile.

  • Outlook 2011 - I can change default folder?

    How i can change default open folder in Outlook 2011 (update 14.1.3)?
    And how i can change default incoming mail folder (POP account)?

    Here is what worked for me.
    changing the default application server.
    1) Verify that JSC2 is creating a WAR file in the project's dist directory.
    2) Download the Sun Java System Application Server 8.1
    3) Install the application server on another computer. E.g. 192.168.1.110
    I changed the default port from 8080 to 80 because I wanted to port forward.
    Don't know if this is required.
    4) Start the server! Browse to 192.168.1.110:80 and verify the server started.
    5) Run the admin console (192.168.1.110:4848) and manually deploy the WAR file
    If you can't do this, it wont go.
    Your browser might appear to get stuck. Wait for it to finish! Check your logs for errors.
    If you get stuck, doublecheck that the server directory isn't write-protected.
    Test with a browser 192.168.1.110:80/ProjectName
    6) Tell JSC2 about the new server
    Servers Tab -> Remote Servers -> rightclick -> Add Remote Server...
    Select the right kind of server (Sun Java System Application Server 8.1)
    Admin Host: 192.168.1.110
    Admin Port: 4848
    Username: admin or whatever
    Password: shhhhh!
    7) Configure JSC2 to deploy the project to a different server during testing.
    Projects Tab -> Right-click the project -> Properties -> Run -> select the new server.
    8) Click the little green triangle and it should deploy and start a browser to test.
    Trouble-shooting:
    - Problems will occur if you attempt to do things to fast. Don't cancel out of operations.
    - Don't modify any of you build.xml files
    - Don't compress the war file
    - Restart everything if you hit a problem
    - Don't ask me, I don't know anything about it. I just fiddled with it till it worked.
    - Turn off Netlimiter! (or any other bandwidth manager)
    - Turn off Antivirus monitoring software (stuff runs faster - security rish though)

  • Changing IP Subnet

    I'm moving from a /24 to a /23 as a temporary solution to not having enough addresses on our network. VLANs are in the works, but a lot of old VLAN-unaware equipment needs to go first. This is on my chopping block.However, i need a quick fix to bring up about 40 new hosts onto our network. We only have 20-30 unused addresses in our DHCP pool. The total amount of devices should not exceed 300 which is the magic number I keep hearing about for some older network equipment on a single LAN segment.However, I've never done this before. I have a gameplan, but want a second opinion.Steps during the day:1. Gather MAC addresses of key network devices. Switches, WAPs, time clocks, printers, etc.2. Set the Lease Duration on the scope down to one hour.Steps after hours:
    3. Create /23 scope on DHCP server. Create an exclusion from 10.0.0.177 through...

    So you're not changing the IP address but just the network mask?
    If so, you should be able to just change the latter by logging
    into the iPrint Appliance via SSH and then running YaST (command
    is all lowercase "yast") - with Appliance 1.0.1 you can't change
    the network configuration via web-based Management Console (as
    per note in section 8.2 of Administration Guide[1]).
    I'd reboot the Appliance after changing.

  • [Forum FAQ] How do I change default values shown in Report Delivery Options?

    Introduction
    Some users want to change default values shown in Report Delivery Options when creating standard subscriptions. Someone might want to always Cc the report to a specified user without sending the report URL. So they want to display those default values display
    automatically when creating standard subscriptions like below.
    Solution
    To achieve this goal, please embed JavaScript code into the SubscriptionProperties.aspx file to change those default values (By default, the file’s location is: <Installation directory>\Reporting Services\ReportManager\Pages\SubcriptionProperties.aspx).
    The example below will show how to set default values for “Cc” field and “Include Link” field.
    Before coding, pleas find out the corresponding HTML tags of the two fields in the browser using IE Developer Tools.
    Get “Cc” field with its corresponding HTML tag
    Get “Include Link” field with its corresponding HTML tag
    Embed such a code snippet at the end of the existing code within the SubcriptionProperties.aspx file
    <script runat="server">
    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
        Page.ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(typeof(Page),"MyScript", "var cc = document.getElementById('CcEmailAddressesID');cc.value = '[email protected]';var IncludeLink = document.getElementById('ui_cbIncludeLink');IncludeLink.checked
    = false;",true);}
    </script>
    Create a new subscription to check the default values shown in Report Delivery Options
    Applies to
    Reporting Services 2005
    Reporting Services 2008
    Reporting Services 2008 R2
    Reporting Services 2012
    Reporting Services 2014

    Thanks,
    Is this a supported scenario, or does it use unsupported features?
    For example, can we call exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'
    in a supported way?
