10.8.2 cant be installed. help!

i tried updating form 10.8.1 to 10.8.2 and during the update on restart their was an error and had to abort. now the update is missing on the App Store. how to i fix this? thanks

Benigno I had the same problem updating from Lion to Mountain Lion....
you just need to restart your Mac pressing the SHIFT key.
This way you'll open the Security Mode of your Mac, so... go to the App Store and try to refresh the updates, I can assure you that ML 10.8.2 will be there.*
*at least, when I need to update, i found it there...

windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avabilable.

Head into your Windows Update. Are there any new updates available for you? If so, and you install, does that clear up the error message?

What does the message say, exactly?
Try this:
From the Finder's Go menu, choose Computer:
Double-click your hard disk icon. It is usually named "Macintosh HD":
Look for this folder:
If it appears in that window, drag it to the Trash.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
You can install Windows 8 on your computer because it can run Windows 8, but you can't install the Windows support software that makes Windows run properly, so probably things like the Wi-Fi card, the sound and the graphic card may not work without these drivers.
That's just an Apple restriction. Apple has decided to give Windows 8 support to the most recent Macs, leaving old Macs with Windows 7. Unfortunately, to run Windows 8 properly, the only option is to install it on a virtual machine. Apart from that, if you want to install Windows 7 with Boot Camp, you can do it

That is my fast time installing on Window7 Ultimate. Please answer this problem to me. I was tried to download and install iTunes many times but i can't install complete everytime.

A box keeps appearing saying Application wants to install Helper and asking for my password to access the hard drive. It just doesn't feel right to me and I wonder if it is genuine. Would be grateful for any advice.

Like an idiot, I actually entered my password, Safari crashed, and now it won't open. I cant install any search add-ons for firefox becuase I get this message "This search engine isnt supported by firefox and cant be installed".

I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox 3.6.13 from the mozilla website, (I definatly dont have firefox 4 beta). When I try to add any new search add-ons such as Bing, Youtube, IMDB I awlays get the same message "This search engine isnt supported by firefox and cant be installed".
I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox same problem persists, I even re-installed my OS as I needed to do it anyway and same problem.

I have found a fix for myself, but i still would like to know what caused the problem.
If i get the error message, all i have to do is go to the address bar and type in random letters, then when i click install, they install and no more error message.
anyone able to explain please?

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

Why do you need to check it if you can't access it? If it is because you need to have it deactivated then contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.
