10.8.4 upgrade stuck

My "Software Update..." tells me I need to upgrade to 10.8.4 (I'm currently on 10.8.3 on a Macbook Pro). I click Install and am told to restart, which I do. And when I get back from restarting, I'm still told to upgrade to 10.8.4. For some reason, I'm stuck in this loop. How do I break out of this and actually get upgraded to 10.8.4?

Sometimes the Mac App Store version doesn't work. In your case, install 10.8.4 with the Combo edition you can download from the Apple site > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1659
It's a normal problem that some people have but can be easily fixed

When i checked the tables CNVCLU and CNV_00001_USR in actual instance 000 client. Am able to see the table in SE14 in NOT ACTIVE state. However in SE11 it showed table doesnt exist.
Already check the note 719989 - SLO: Deleting data from CNVCLU after conversion but am unable to delete the same. All the fields in the SE14 is inactive.
Please let me know to resolve this issue.

The note 1910297 - ABAP Update halted in preprocessing step mentioned to reset the update and apply the patch.
Am in 37 Patch level higher than the version. However the error is smilar to the one mentioned in the note.
I just got this error for 2 tables only not for many tables. These tables related to SLO.

EhP4 SP5 upgrade stuck at PREP_INSTALL/SHDINST_CRE Phase

Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to upgrade EhP3 box to EhP4 SP5 and currently stuck at following phase:
Severe error(s) occured in phase PREP_INSTALL/SHDINST_CRE
Last error code set: Removing directory 'G:\EHPI\abap\TMP' failed: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
SAPehpi broke during phase SHDINST_CRE in module PREP_INSTALL / Installation
I've failed to delete this TMP folder manually, says its been used by another person or program. If I stop ehpi tool i'm able to delete it but after i re-run the Installation Phase using ehpi tool, it again gives me the same error as above.
Please suggest.

Try to check folder permissions , try to give permissions directly for user (if permission exist try to delete and give from new) I'm see some illogical behavior on windows servers.

I installed all the packages and it allowed me to proceed furthur
but now it throws another error saying that
The log says "ORA-12003: materialized view "SYSMAN"."MGMT_ECM_MD_ALL_TBL_COLUMNS" does not exist" during the OMS Upgrade using graphical mode.
We are not sure if that Materialized view ever exists on it or not.
Please advise

NetWeaver 7.3 Upgrade Stuck

Hello all,
I am in process of upgrading NW 7.01 portal to NetWeaver 7.3. In the "Configuration" phase, SAPJup is prompting for Upgrade DVDs. I have given the required path. DVD_KERNEL and NW_Java are accepted when I used 51040410 and 51039309 CDs. However, I am unable to find BS_Java CD. I tried with 51039100 but it doesnt accept.
The error message is:
3 configured CDs have not been mounted. See previous messages. The configured CD ID J2EE-INTERNAL and CD description Internal archives and configuration has not been mounted. The configured CD ID BS7-J2EE-CD and CD description BS Java CD has not been mounted. The configured CD ID UT_ERP and CD description ERP has not been mounted.
Please let me know the exact CD I need to provide at this stage.

Itunes 9.2 Upgrade Stuck

I own an iMac running Mac OS X 10.4.11 and am upgrading iTunes to version 9.2 using Apple Software Update, but it is stuck on "Installing Apple Mobile Device Support" and not making ANY progress. I thought about force quitting Apple Software Update, but am afraid that iTunes would not work correctly. I would really appreciate any help!

Actually, someone else told me to delete iTunes and install it again, and that did the trick.

Ipad upgrade stuck on restore screen

upgrade to iOS5 failed on the ipad. iTunes shows the sycing and completes it but on the ipad, it requires configuring the system and gets stuck on the 'restore from backup' screen. Connecting to iTunes and syncing is not recognized by the ipad. It is an endless loop of operations. Result: the ipad never goes past the 'connect to iTunes'.
I am not inclined to configure it as a new ipad as I might not be able to access the apps I have backup up.
My iphone4 upgraded fine.
Any suggestions?

You can recover all of your apps, music, etc. from iTunes assuming you've syced with it lately. However, you will loose all of the associated documents, preferences, and other settings for each App. I just went through this with my iPad 1.

Yosemite upgrade stuck at x minutes for 10+ hours

Hi,
This is for the 6th time I am trying to upgrade.
It was a terrible idea, never faced it in my happy 10 years using a mac.
I wanted to upgrade it, it downloaded and now trying to upgrade for 14 hours straight.
The machine is running from last 40 hours, it is a Mid 2010 macbook pro.
Simply it is stuck at 4 minutes ( this is new, earlier it stuck at 3 minutes for 6 hours ) and log quota exceeded.
Please help.
Yes, I have tex, homebrew all these sort of stuff installed.
I promise never to upgrade to a free OS ( unless it is my kubuntu from where Iam typing it in ) again.

I finally decided that enough it enough, and cleaned the disk drive and installed Mac OS X.
I could back up data, and that was good enough for me.
Everything is fine.

Yosemite upgrade stuck it has been 24 hrs

What can I do? I tried to upgrade to Yosemite and it has been stuck at half way point for 24 hrs. Can I force quite or will that be bad?

Try restarting the machine, the update may have completed. Post back with results.

If you also find any files named to include MessageSorting (which would mean you once have upgraded from a version of OSX earlier than 10.4), remove those, also, but never restore those.
To find the correct location for the Mail folder, open a Finder window, click on the icon of a house in the Sidebar (this is known often as "Home"), click on Library in that Home user directory, and then to open the Mail folder found there.

WET610N firmware upgrade stuck at 54%

After setting the bridge up successfully (few hiccups), I figured I should upgrade the firmware. Its stuck at 54% for an hour now. There is flashing text in red warning: Upgrade must NOT be interrupted!!
Its clearly stuck and I don't think its going to move. Any thoughts on how I should proceed.
What would happen if I pulled the plug on the upgrade?

My Upgrade has got stucked in Pre- Processing step, in MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG phase.

The above issue was fixed by commenting some of the lines of MEMSAPehpi.dat file.

IOS 4 Upgrade Stuck...

Backup took forever but finally completed, now I'm stuck at "Contacting the iPhone Activation server..." I mean what the heck? Its been 45+ mins already and the phone is begging for something to do. Any ideas?

I had the same problem attempting to upgrade my 3G to IOS 4. I also got to the backup part and nothing seemed to be happening after waiting for an hour. Here is the solution I found:
- with your iPhone connected to iTunes, click upgrade
- allow the IOS 4 package to download.
- when you get to the backup step and it hangs, click 'stop' in iTunes
- sync your iPhone
- go back to iTunes and click 'restore'. This will do a clean install of the IOS 4 package that you have already downloaded
- sync your iPhone.
The whole process for me took around 15 minutes. I now have IOS 4 and my phone is completely synced with the prior settings, apps, music, photos, etc.
I have no idea why Apple botched this so badly for so many users. It would seem that they are just using an automated script that does the same thing as the above procedure.

IOS4 upgrade stuck!

Trying to upgrade my 3G phone, but it seems stuck. iTunes says "Restoring iPhone software" and the bar is mostly green, but it's been this way for about 7 hours (overnight). There is movement in the green bar -- the lights seem on. My iPhone has an Apple logo and a bar that is about 1/3 white, but no progress for about 7 hours as well. Do I continue to wait, or disconnect? Clicking iTunes buttons doesn't do anything.

Lock the iPhone screen in portrait orientation (iPhone 3GS or later): Double-click the Home button, flick the bottom of the screen from left-to-right, then tap the portrait lock.
The portrait orientation lock icon appears in the status bar when the screen orientation is locked.

Ios7 upgrade stuck on apple logo

Hi guys,
Just upgrading to ios7, download has complete however it has been stuck on the apple logo for a good hour with no progress on the loading bar. I have tried resetting phone as well. Any suggestions?
