10.9.5 update gives me a strange iCloud setup

Yesterday I updated my macbook to version 10.9.5. After the installation I got something like a setup for iCloud. It looked like the kind of setup you get when you install you mac for the first time.
I needed to fill in my password for iCloud. After that I needed to fill in a security code and give my phone number. There was not something like a cancel button and it looked Appleish. So I continued. It also was about the keychain. After I installed that I had a strange feeling about it. So I started to search for more people who had the same as me, but I couldn't find anybody else. I also checked the information about update 10.9.5, but that stated nothing about iCloud or the keychain (also not on the safari update). And the strangest thing was that when I looked at the keychain settings I needed to make a security code (like what you have to do the first time, but I already made one). Then I found out that Apple will sent you a text with some kind of number to make a keychain work, I didn't get that in my installation.
My question is what had happened to my mac? Because I'm have a strange feeling about my iCloud installation.

This is a bug. Got to be a bug.
This should be nothing to do with indeterminate results from ROWNUM, and nothing to do with read consistency at the point of statement start time in session2., surely.
Session 2 should never return 100101 once the lock from session 1 is released.
The SELECT FOR UPDATE should restart and 100101 should not be selected as it does not meet the criteria of the select.
A statement restart should ensure this.
A number of demos highlight this.
Firstly, recall the original observation in the original test case.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, reset, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

iTunes has not had a sidebar for over a year. You can see one (as iTunes 10 used to show) by doing View > Show Sidebar from iTunes' menu.
But I'm not sure if that is your issue. You do not need a sidebar to do home sharing. Are you running the current iTunes (11.1.3)? Have you turned on sharing in Preferences? Have you done File > Turn on Home Sharing?

I run Windows 7 and the newest version (10.6) of iTunes will not install. The installer won't even begin, and when I run the Apple Software update, it tells me that iCloud and iTunes have invalid signature.

When I DL iTunes64setup.exe, the program will not start (there's a bar that flashes but nothing actually begins). I've done everything short of reinstalling Windows to fix this (system resore, unistalling all Apple products, taking down firewall, running Windows FixIt - which either won't find the problem or gives me an error saying that the troubleshooter cannot be downloaded at this time, going into the security features to allow programs without valid signatures, trying to install earlier versions of iTunes). It all started when I downloaded the Decemberists new album on my iPhone, and it wasn't downloading it properly so I connected it to my Dell, but some songs still wouldn't DL - also, the newest OS for my iPhone still won't install via WiFi - and so I uninstalled iTunes first, but nothing is helping. And I don't have any security issues (Norton has checked). Any ideas? I'm at my wit's end after 3 days of this. Thank you.

Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

If you change your email, you do not need to "change" your AppleID. Just edit your email(s) on your Apple ID by logging in to your AppleID account. You should always use the same AppleID for Apple Services (iCloud, iTunes etc) and multiple ID will cause problems and confusion in the future.

You can't. iCloud backups can only be done over wifi.

This has been posted for almost 2 weeks and not one reply. Thanks a bunch! As a newbie to OOo and Mozilla, I am not impressed with responsiveness to support needs with either. So, the future of my new experiment with going non-Microsoft remains an open question.
Oddly enough, the problem mysteriously went away. I have followed the same routine and changed no settings. Suddenly all of the downloaded spreadsheets were no longer read-only. So I consider the matter resolved.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
    1.    First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
    2.    Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
    3.    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

The Apple genius at the Apple store told me this would work. It failed. Basically, updating your iPhone 3GS to iOS5 wipes your 3GS of its data so you can't really do this. Some data worked. Music, photos etc didn't work at all.
I suggest avoiding iCloud completely for a few weeks until Apple gets it working.
