Need help with this as its really stressing me out.
My ipod does not connect to my itunes, My usb's all work as ive tried them with printers,cams etc. My ipod works in my ipod docker so i can fully recharge. I thought it might be the lead so i bought a new one and that didnt work. I have tried recharging on other pc's and it still wont reconize it.
Pls help, if somebody can sort this out i will send them a cheque for a tenner, you have my word

BestYou can import an animated gif, but it will not remain intact as one such that you can drop it onto the stage and have it play. What you can do is create a new movieclip symbol and while it is open for editing import the animated gif to the stage.
The frames of the animated gif will be planted sequencially in the timeline, with some attempt at automatically getting the timing correct via extending frames occupied by each panel of the animated gif. At this point you will have a movieclip representation of the animated gif that you can place in the background. -

You should never try to charge or turn on a wet electronic device.
You should let it dry for a week or so, then try. -
My 4th Gen iPod Nano isn't displaying a "Use iTunes to restore" message, but iTunes is displaying a restore message when I connect it. I have original music that I can't back up on my iPod. Is there any way that I can fix the iPod without restoring it?
It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other. -

The fix must eliminate the false error message that a cartridge is empty and enable the printer to resume printing.
As you can see in the link, people have struggled with this problem for years and no consistent fix has been discovered. I am hoping that a smart person out there can find the cause of this problem and a solution for it.
I suspect that a file or registry entry must be set that indicates a false empty cartridge. This false entry is retained even when a new cartridge is installed, or the printer software is removed and reinstalled.
Even though many people have worked on this issue over the years, there still may be a creative solution out there. Let's hear it and if it works you get the money.Hi,

Make sure you are using the same power adapter and cable that came with the iPad.
And try charging via USB to a computer.
If nothing above helped, reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I am having a issue installing Adobe Acrobat XI. I am running Windows 8.1. When go to install it gets an error. The error is with transform in registry and will not install product. I am looking at how I can fix this registry problem.
I have tried to uninstall all Abode Acrobat installations but one file remains and refuses to be uninstalled. It gives me this error : Error applying Transforms . I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

Is there anyone there? I hope there is someone who can you understand this problem and have the common sense to respond?
I open gmail. I want to save an email to one of my folders.
I position my cursor over the appropriate Folder icon or by choice, to the Trash.
The friendly finger pointing cursor icon changes to an arrow icon.
The hand icon allows me flawless access to opening and/or moving emails.
The arrow, however does not open the link.
On the Google menu bar the cursor hand with finger opens the links to Everett (my name), Search, Images, Maps and Play.
When I attempt to open the remaining links in the menu bar (YouTube, News, Gmail, Drive, Calendar and More) the arrow icon replaces the hand. The arrow icon does not work. It will not activate these links. Nor does it open email messages in the Inbox.
Usually I reset, even reboot Safire and sometimes the problem goes away, then reappears.
Can you imagine if this condition should it happen to a tech savvy Google Support person? Perhaps one can share and make my problem go away.
I am considering dropping Google as my mail source. Unfortunate!

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these steps in order.

Who can fix my VI to work in LV8? please help...
I wrote this VI in LV 7 and it worked great, I was forced to upgrade to LV8 and it no longer works. I will admit my knowledge of LV is marginal at best.
The VI is attached, It was using "open create replace file", "write to file", and "close file" These VI's no longer exist in LV8.
LV8 has decided to replace all of these VI's with "write to binary file" which is useless to people who need to view the file in Excel.
All i need is for this VI to write a proper 6 column data file, can somebody help me out here?

To load a LabVIEW 7.0 VI in LabVIEW 8.0, you simply open it as before after installing LabVIEW 8.0. Is that waht you did or not?

Hi, I know this is stupid, but without going into the how, I deleted important photos and actually backed up my icloud, so I think they are gone completely! I am furious with my self, is there anyway to retrieve this data from some space even if I have to be charged by apple ... just being hopeful...
Photo stream photos are not backed up, and when you delete them from one device, they are also deleted from iCloud and your other devices. If they were in your camera roll when you last back up you device, restoring the backup should recover them. Otherwise, they are, unfortunately, gone.
Also, photo stream photos don't use any of your iCloud storage so deleting them won't free any storage up in your account.
You can't really use iCloud to back up your photos. It's designed to stream them to your devices and share with others, not to back them up. In fact, photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. In order to back up your photos, import them to your computer while they are still in your camera roll, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. Or, if you have a Mac that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled, and you are using iPhoto '11 9.2.2 or later, go to iPhoto>Preferences>iCloud and check Automatic Import. This will ensure that your photo stream photos are automatically imported to your iPhoto library where they will be safe (especially if you are using Time Machine to back up your Mac). -

Basically, my USB ports dont want to pick up my external hard drives? I read another topic stating that the HD could need more power and need a firewire connection!? Can I buy a Firewire hub?
I never had this problem before it is something new. I used to use the Hard drive (Lacie Disk) on USB fine. I bought a new Seagate HD and this will only work on Firewire!?
I have been in the system profiler and it is not registering, however, it seems to power the HD fine!
Its getting very fustrating now as I need more than 1 firewire connection to my laptop for a soundcard!
Any help would be most appreciated!
GregIf you want to use bus-powered USB drives with your Powerbook, get an AC-powered USB hub. Connect the hub to the Powerbook and the hub's AC adapter to a wall outlet, then connect your USB drive(s) to the hub, from which they will draw their power (instead of trying to draw it from the Powerbook). This will free up your PB's FireWire port for other uses.
There are also FireWire hubs, but they are substantially more expensive than USB hubs.

I bought an iPhone 5 approximately 18 months back (warranty over) and have been running into battery problems for the past 1 month
my phone drains about 10% per hour while on sleep mode (no usage at all other than picking up calls) ,hence it can normally last up to 8-10 hours on sleep mode alone.However,when the phone is being used,it can usually only last up to 1-2 hours.It usually feels slightly warm on touch on sleep mode but becomes a little hotter when using at prolonged periods,otherwise it works quite well externally.This in my opinion is not normal since I've been using this phone for the past year and i can kind of guess the normal battery lifespan of my phone.My current iPhone 5 version is 7.1.1 and is not jailbroken.
I have had my phone changed into a new one just last year due to the faulty sleep/wake function,FYI
Before you say anything,i would like to let you know that i come from Malaysia whereby there are no genius bars here and most are 3rd party support groups who are more or less not bothered to fix or diagnose my phone problem and are more likely to change my phone into a new refurbished phone instead (cost approximately 300USD),they are not even willing to touch my phone.Trust,me I've been to more than one official stores.
Hence I've devised a few ways of diagnosing the phone problem myself based on online tips and tutorials
1)Factory reset : ive backed up and restored the phone (factory reset) with a new account just to test if it is the fault of the software.This process was done about 6 times in total but with no progress
2)Ive tried every single software tweak suggested from the net - switch off data/off wifi/airplane mode/off icloud/off background refresh/resetting the phone etc..You name it,I've done it!
3)Ive also checked for evidence of decay from the current iPhone,which shows a design capacity of 1430 and full charge capacity of 1352,which is pretty good if ud asked me.
4)As for the usage and standby values,it is not equal.on full recharge it says stand by at more than 20-24 hours and usage time of 8 hours.However,in reality this values are never really achieved.
5)Every single app has been deleted FYI,there are only stock apps in my phone.
6)Finally i gave in and had given my phone to someone experienced to manually change my internal battery into a new one ( i was observing him and I'm quite sure that he hadn't damaged anything while fixing it ).But this does not improve the battery power one bit.
This leads me to believe that this might be a hardware issue other than the battery itself,i was wondering if anyone has ever encountered a case such as this one since i am truly unable to find a cause on why the battery is drained in this manner,I'm suspecting that my sleep button might be activated,but my phone is unable to sleep internally due to some unknown reason.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Help: HMTL tags displays in PDF
I created a report and displaying it as PDF. The data coming from the database has HTML tags which is being displayed in the PDF output. I would like these tags to be interpreted instead of displaying. When I display the report as HTML, it works ok (
