100 dollar bill credit for iPhone update

Back in March my wife updated her iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5c during the promotion at the time where she would pay 100 dollar for the phone and then receive a 100 dollar bill credit. When we went to pay our bill in March we noticed the credit had not been applied. We called and were told it would take a couple billing cycles, not a big deal. We went and looked at our bill in April, still no credit. I called and was told the credit was definitely coming and it would just take another billing cycle. They explained that the cycle we were in when we purchased the phone didn't count for the 1-2 cycles needed to apply the credit. We got our bill in May, STILL NO CREDIT. I called this time and was told that we were never due a credit and it was not coming.
Now, I know I purchased it during the promotion and I had on 2 separate previous occasions had people tell me the credit was coming it was just processing and would take a couple cycles. Now I get a guy telling me there is no credit and he can offer me 25 dollar credit for my troubles. UNACCEPTABLE! Has anyone else had issues receiving the credit due? Is there any remedy to this? No one I call can seem to help!

I am dealing with the same thing!  Luckily when I checked out online I printed the page that shows the promotion under the 16GB phone.  Verizon is telling me it was only for the 32 GB as well!  I will be sending my printout tonight and I will post it here as well so hopefully everyone can get the money the deserve!  Like I told Verizon, why would I pay $173 (with tax) for an Iphone 5C when Walmart had it at the same time for $34 (with tax)... the only reason I didn't buy from walmart at the time was it was $29 plus tax and I assumed they taxed on the retail price of the phone like Verizon does, and later found out they only tax on the purchase price!!!
I am so disappointed in their lack of customer service and the fact that I have to call 6 times before someone tells me I don't qualify!

    I have been going back and forth with them. They do not like giving big credits so they keep saying it will be on the next bill and the next bill etc. I even had a rep text me the details of the promotion telling me I would get it last week. Every rep I speak with tells me I am not eligible, puts me on repeated holds, then I have to tell them the exact name of the promo to look up in their system. Thank god I know the exact name.   • ITunes Downloading Issue for iPhone Update 4.3

    Hey,
    I have an iPhone 4, and I'm running a MacBook Pro on Snow Leopard. For the past three hours, I've been trying to update my iPhone 4 to 4.3, and halfway through each update, iTunes disconnects the download, and I try to resume the download, but it won't pick up from the original point. It just restarts the download rather than resume. I have a pretty mediocre connection as it stands, but I can get this downloaded in a timely manner. I'm just wondering why it won't resume and restarts instead more than anything.

    Not sure exactly what you mean by mediocre but once the connection is dropped then the download has to start from scratch.
    Try restarting your iPhone and your Mac. Then try updating to 4.3
    It may not be your connection but your MacBook (Pro?) unless you were able to resolve the kernel panic issue here: http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11001688#11001688

  • Automatic check for Iphone update problem

    Hello all,
    My CMOS battery recently died, and I managed to boot the system with an invalid date in 2010. Itunes checked for updates and pushed the next automatic update date into 10/17/2010. I've since manually checked for updates, and updated the iphone, but would like to have the autocheck date set back.
    A search using regedit didn't yield anything promising. Any suggestions?

    I updated my iTunes today to 7.6 and now it is not recognizing my phone and totally messed it up. I had to use my computer with the old version of iTunes to get it back working. If you are using the new version of iTunes I think that might be your problem. The new version will not recognize my phone.

  • Why is my bill "credit" for autopay being ADDED to my bill?

    I signed up for Autopay (prepaid) and was offered a $5 per month credit. Well, the $5 is being added to my bill to the point where I am now being overcharged $25 since I just noticed it.
    Sounds like someone forgot a MINUS sign for a CREDIT. I am shaking my head, this is rather ridiculous and makes me wonder about the quality/integrity of the billing system of Verizon. Can someone fix this ASAP? I am sure I am not the only one.

    my mistake, the online bill is not clear in showing credits, thanks to the customer service rep, she cleared up the confusion.

  • How can I stop Itunes from asking to allow to check for Iphone updates?

    Everytime I start Itunes it tells me it wants to check for updates of my Iphone software. There is no way to turn it off - except for allowing it to do it automatically - which I dont want eather.
    Its anoying and the reason why I like apple is because its not in your face al the time asking for updates...

    Have you tried opening iTunes on the laptop and checking the option "Prevent iPods and iPhones from syncing automatically" in iTunes>Preferences>Devices (or Edit>Preferences>Devices in Windows)?

    The Firmware of my I phone3gs is 3.1.2. I have updated the itunes to the latest version9.0.3.15 I want to update my phone to 3.1.3. But when download finised, a window proped up "The Iphone " "could not be updated,because the firmware was corrupt. Disconnect and reconnect and try again". I have tried many ways and many times, but all don't work. I desperately need your help!!!

  • Who is responsible for iPhone updates, Apple or Carrier?

    Why is Verizon so far behind in firmware?  There are several apps we cannot run.  Had I known Verizon customers would be treated as second class citizens, I would have switched carriers or avoided the iPhone.

    I don't use a CDMA phone but I know they at least have 4.2.9.  There might even be something higher than that.

    480x320 isn't bad, but its ugly if you know you look at it on a retina display.
    Also, on android, you get nicely 800x480 without problems (but android probably doesn't use tricks, just plan resolution)

  • Is there a rebate/credit for existing iPhone owners who buy the 3G?

    I've heard this from 2 people now that they read or heard of existing iPhone users getting some sort of special price or rebate should they buy a new 3G. I can't find this info anywhere, so I'm guessing there is none, but hearing it from 2 people now has me asking the board if you know anything about this. Thanks for the help.

    There is no "credit" for iPhone users. However, because they bought an unsubsidized phone, they are eligible for the discounted phone upgrade sooner than they normally would be. So, basically, here's how it works.
    199/299 for new customers.

    199/200 for current iPhone customers.
    399/499 for current customers with a subsidized phone bought too recently.

  • Can I get a bill credit or refund for phone price reduction?

    I upgraded to an S4 mini last month on one of my line. Cost me $49.95. Now I see the phone cost id Zero. I would like to at least get a bill credit for the difference or to convert this line the the Edge program wit the price i paid applied to the device cost.

    But it does confirm that Im sticking with v4.17.135 on iOS. 
    I hope you can understand and provide feedback to your developers how totally ridiculous it is that users are forced to stay on old versions in order not to be locked out of such basic functionality as photo sending? Normally the first question developers ask is 'are you running the latest version'. In this case, its the latest version(s) that break the functionality.
    In addition, as a paid user for many years (10 years or more i think) owning two SkypeIn numbers what I havent seen is any roadmap or comment about when the numerous problems associated with receiving skype calls, voicemail, and call forwarding will be resolved?
    How long are paid users expected to wait?
