100% wide - bug in IE?

Hello all,
I am going to present a layout for a client to aprove, and
although I
usually print it, I also put it online (without working as a
real site).
I have notest a "bug" in IE before, but it's starting to be
anoying *grrrrr*
The url:
http://cursofa.coresaocubo.com
I'm in a PC and I use IE 6, and Firefox 1.0.7
Although I use a table that is 100% wide, in IE there is
always something
like a 6 pixels gap at the right side of the page, wich
dissapears when I
press F5 (wich is ridiculous). In Fireforx works fine as
expected (100% wide
with no gap).
Is there anyway to force the 100% wide in IE as the page
loads (not having
to press the F5 so that the page appears as planned)?
Thank you very much,
Ana

Just a suggestion is nit because you don't have it maximised?
On my screen
if I shrink the page I see the line but when I expand it
dissapears. Seems
to be a bordar on the scroll bar perhaps?

  • WLC 5508 -7.4.100 -mDNS bug?

    Hello
    I deleted an interface that had a mDNS profile attached and then created a new Interface with the same IP and a different mDNS profile. When I went to delete the test mDNS profile, the wlc complains that it is still attached to deleted interface.
    So how do I delete this mDNS profile, do I need a reboot of the WLC?
    after I did this on 1 controller, I removed the profile first from the other WLCs before I deleted the interface, that work no problem.
    here is some info

  • New number of posts bug(?) + question; no #100, and total # of posts vary

    New number of posts bug(?) + question; no number 100, and total number of posts vary
    Intrigued by Tuttle's new attempt to join Niel's old habit to keep his own total number of posts count, I went and start counting my posts since the New Discussions. Because I saved my latest Old Discussions Post-and-Points info, I can see what are the previously-still-online ones (the pre- 14-Nov-2005 01:31 GMT ones), and I know exactly what was my "real" total number of posts before 14-Nov-2005 (2446).
    My New Discussions posts number however, is quite uncertain.
    Firstly, when I use the "My Posts" link on the right, then clicking on and on on the "Next" link,
    my "Viewing 91-100 of 586 -- Pages" shows 91-99 instead of 91-100
    (= should show 10 posts, shows 9 posts)
    then I go on clicking Next Next Next, and I see the same missing counts happen elsewhere:
    my posts number 100, 259, 260, 370, 390, 520, 558, 559, 560, 578, 579, and 580 are missing too.
    Note that I wouldn't bother doing all this, and I would have thought it's just very old posts that are automatically deleted like in the Old Discussions,
    BUT,
    the problem is that when I choose to see all my posts together on the same page
    (by using the start=0&range=600 suffix in the URL)
    I get a total number of posts that is different (570).
    A third way to quickly see all posts without having to load too big page
    (using the start=0&range=300 suffix in the URL then only one "Next" click)
    shows yet another, different again, number of total posts (573).
    And my "official" total number of posts is (586).
    Dear HOSTS,
    - If this can be used as a bug report to fix a counting problem, glad to help.
    - If there is no bug, I have two(+) questions then:
    1) Was my post number 100 deleted?
    (should be around 27-Nov-2005 18:00 GMT)
    Also:
    I thought the Total Posts number that we see in "My Public Profile" or under the avatar in each post (586), was only the number of posts still online.
    - if it is the case, then there are no automatically deleted old posts anymore?
    - if old posts are automatically deleted like before, this number should vary?
    - if it doesn't vary (it just grows by one per new post), AND at the same time old posts are actually automatically deleted,
    it has to show the "real" total number of posts then,
    (as it is now, a total starting from the Old-Discussions-still-online-posts, it makes no sense),
    that is,
    the total posts in the New Discussions PLUS the total posts since first registration in the Old Discussions.
    So,
    2) What does it show exactly?
    Thanks again for all the great work!
    Axl
    220? 221?

    Thank you Andreas,
    Your confirmation about the "post #100 bug" does help.
    "As for your other missing posts - I guess Tuttle's assessment that they might be deleted is probably right..."
    Yes, that makes sense and that's what I'm trying to figure in my OP, but then,
    after I posted my "#221/2667 post" (11-Dec-2005 21:51 GMT), my originally missing #
    259, 260, 370, 390, 520, 558, 559, 560, 578, 579, and 580
    should have become
    260, 261, 371, 391, 521, 559, 560, 561, 579, 580, and 581
    right? (forget the #100: this one we know for sure it's a bug)
    Or if the software counts them from the first (now that would have been a good start) instead of starting from the most recent,
    they should become
    258, 259, 369, 389, 519, 557, 558, 559, 577, 578, and 579
    Well, that's not what happened. Now the missing # are
    259, 260, 370, 390, 400, 520, 559, 560, 570, 579, and 580
    (in addition to the same #100) (#558 and 578 not missing anymore).
    As you can see, there is no logic:
    It doesn't work as a simple numerotation of StillOnlinePosts, no matter the order
    (otherwise there would simply be a straight count from 1 to 575 (=587-12).
    It looks indeed like it shows which old posts are being automatically deleted. That the numbers are quite the same would simply show that the old posts dates were so close, of course they are deleted (six months later) almost at the same time,
    BUT,
    if it was the case, there would never be LESS deleted posts between two StillOnlinePosts, like it happens for example between my StillOnlinePosts #557 and #561.
    Please note: of course I stick to the same method to make all my counts. Not manually modifying the URL, just using the default Next-Next-Next- clicking...
    Modifying URL would add yet more differences in the differences!..
    Dear Hosts,
    Too bad it doesn't help looking yourself at my "My Posts", as everything changes each time I'm adding a reply somewhere.
    Perhaps a good way to troubleshoot this would be to start from a very simple basis:
    --> "name" the posts with a number, starting from the oldest.
    This way, for example my "#1" post (11-Dec-2005 21:51 GMT in this thread) would be named "221" in the New Discussions, or "2667" if you start from my Registration date.
    At the moment, it is very difficult to figure what fault comes from the "#100 post bug" and what fault comes from another possible counting bug...
    Then the New Discussions "fluctuating" refreshing delay too, possibly messes the counts...
    Thanks!
    Axl

  • Showstopper bug in latest UEKR3 kernel - can't create LVM snapshot of ext4 fs

    cross-posted to gain a wider audience, because this is urgent
    When my backup system attempts to create an LVM snapshot of an ext4 fs, it fails, and the log is full of kernel warnings.  Some of my servers actually reboot themselves.  i've had to turn off backups for the moment.
    It seems that this is a known problem, and a patch for it already exists.  See: Re: warning in ext4_journal_start_sb on filesystem freeze (Linux Ext4)
    I gave this info to a receptionist at Oracle on 12/30, and she seemed to understand that it needed to get to the Oracle Linux product group, but so far no one has contacted me for details, or to let me know that they're working on this.
    It seems to me that this is a 100% critical bug, that *ought* to have gotten an immediate reaction.  Does anyone here know how to get Oracle's attention?

    Hi @cooldog ,
    I hit this same LVM2 snapshot kernel oops on several Oracle Linux 6.5 servers running UEK R3 kernel version 3.8.13-16.3.1.  I have Linux Premier Support so I opened a Service Request.  Oracle Support got back to me with the following notes.
    Hello Matt,
    Bug 17487738 : EXT4: STRESS TESTING WITH SUSPEND/RESUME FS ACCESS CAUSES FS ERRORS This bug is fixed in kernel version: 3.8.13-18. This kernel will be available quite soon for download.

  • Bug: NULL bytes being written to file on SMB volumes

    This is a 100% reproducable bug.
    When writing to files that are on a Samba (SMB) volume, if you are overwriting a file and making it smaller than it previously was, then OSX is writing NULL bytes to the end fo the file, which produce all sorts of problems, especially for software developers.
    How to reproduce:
    Open Terminal, navigate to a SMB volume and do the following:
    # echo "test" > test.txt
    # more test.txt
    test
    # echo "test test test test" > test.txt
    # more test.txt
    test test test test
    # echo "test" > test.txt
    # more test.txt
    "test.txt" may be a binary file.  See it anyway?
    test
    ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@
    This is 100% reproducable every time.  As you can see, when you overwrite a file with a larger version, the NULL bytes are not written to the file.  But when you overwrite with a smaller version, NULL bytes are written to the end of the file.
    This problem is especially a problem for developers.  I came across this bug because I had a git repository on an SMB share/volume.  Whenever I would try to commit changes to the repository, if the git commit log file was shorter than it was in the previous commit, then git threw the error:
    error: a NULL byte in commit log message not allowed.
    fatal: failed to write commit object
    You can see this issue being discussed and reported in several places:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20696643/how-do-i-keep-nul-bytes-from-appeari ng-throughout-my-git-repository-and-commit-m

    https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=237766
    This bug was introduced in Mavericks.  Also, remounting the volume using cifs:// doesn't make a difference.
    Does anyone have any solutions for this problem?  Has this been reported to Apple?  Does Apple know about this problem?

    Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions.
    Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • CS6 Fluid Grid 960px wide

    I'm just getting started with the fluid grid in CS6 but need a bit of help. I'm set up with 12 columns and the default desktop width is 1232px according to the options box. I don't want the grid to be 100% wide. In fact I want it no bigger than 960px at its max width. That works out to be approximately 78% (77.9) of 1232px. However, if I choose 78% as my width and drop in a DIV to span the whole 12 columns, it is far greater than 960px wide. What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do in order to have a starting width of as close to 960px as possible.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Ok, that was easy. I was trying to avoid making any changes to the default CSS file but I haven't broken anything which is good Thanks.

  • Is there a breakdown for Cisco bug ids?

    I'm curious about what the values in the bug id represent.  For example.  All bug ids start with CSC followed by two letters and a series of numbers.  Do the two letters represent anything beyond random unique values?  I was hoping that by looking at the release notes for a new code release, that I could easily identify what type of bugs were fixed.  More specifically in my case, I want to easily identify if security vulnerabilities were fixed in a particular code release without having to maintain a comprehensive list of all the security bugs.

    Short answer: No special meaning, just a sequential counting identifier.
    Longer answer:
    DDTS (Distributed Defect Tracking System from Rational Software was the original bug tracking system that Cisco installed in the early 1990s for the software that would eventually come to be known as Cisco IOS. The bugid format enforced by the software at the time was XXXxxNNNNN.  Remember, 1990 was pre-web - this was all 80x24 terminal screen and character based.  Pre-Y2K bugs.  A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
    At the time the lettering was selected:
    CSC was for "Cisco Systems Corporation"
    di was for "Defect Identifier"
    and then the number was just a sequential defect number.
    So the earliest bugs were of the form CSCdi12345.
    This went well until the 100,000th bug!
    At that time, it was decided to increment the letter, to dj, dk, dl, etc etc.  as it it were just a counting digit.  CSCekXXXXX is the highest set I see in the 12.4 release notes.
    Don't be alarmed that the number is so high - defect identifiers are assigned for ALL defects and also a lot of administrative testing events, including ones in internal testing and very early development.  A small fraction of identifiers apply to released code.
    At some point, the IOS "S" family of releases picked new two-letter baseline for some classes of bugs. "sa" formed the baseline defect identifier for a revised code base, and I see bug identifiers in the CSCtcXXXXXX range at this point.  It seems that the 15.0 release now uses that "sa-and-higher" counting index, as does the ASA.  I'm not sure what event moved people to start using the "sa" baseline.
    I think some other Business Units may have picked other baselines, but it is most appropriate to think of the two-letters-and-five-numbers at the end of a bugid as just a 7 digit number with base-26 as the high order bits.
    There is no specific signifigance to the lettering, just a lot of history.
    Athough DDTS was replaced some time ago, so many tools orbiting the system expect the CSCxxXXXXX bugid form that its use persists to this day.

  • Pda reproducible bug with logical shift operation when y 3 for arrays

    Folks,
    I have discovered a problem and wonder if this is a wider bug or if I am doing something wrong:
    Labview PDA 8.0.1  -  running on a Dell Axim:
    I create a 2x1000 array of U32 and feed it as x into the logical shift operator.  If  y is between -3 and 3, the logical shift works properly.  If y >= 4 or <= -4, then the array is returned with all zeros.
    I have reproduced this for I32 data and smaller arrays.  Logical shift works properly for scalars.
    Has anyone else seen this?  Is this a bug?
    Thanks for any help.

    It might very well be a bug. If it works differently on the PC and on the PDA then it is almost certainly one.
    I suggest you post a simple example showing this so that people with current versions of the PDA module (i.e. not me) can test this. Maybe it was even fixed for 8.2?
    Try to take over the world!

  • How can I specify figure width percent in a div and still default to 100% width on small media

    In fluid grids, I want a div that will display a figure and figure caption within a box where I can specify the float (left, center or right) and the percent width that defaults to 100% width below some display size. I would like this div to display correctly on all browsers and as many Internet Explorer versions as possible.
    This appears to work fine in my fluid.css:
    .myfig {
                background-color: #DAE7F1;
                border: medium solid #000;
                padding: 4px;
                margin: 4px;
                text-align: left;
                 width: 33%;
    /* On phones and vertical tablets make all figures 100% wide */
    @media only screen and (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 700px) {
        .myfig {
            width: 100%;
    and my test.html:
    <div class="myfig" style="float:right;" >
       <img src="Images/time-to-adapt.jpg" alt="stuff">
       Figure caption
    </div>
    But if I put the width in
    <div class="myfig" style="float:right; width: 50%;" >
    The figure will be 50% so this overrides the default 33% but the figure does not revert to 100% for small media.
    I assume the problem is in the order of processing. Anyone know how to make this work or of a definition that will meet my needs?

    Use CSS classes.

  • Pinwheel Bug when trying to "Create"

    I've tested on two computers. An 08 Mac Pro and an early 08 MacBook Pro both running 10.6.4. I noticed that sometimes (not always) especially after using iPhoto, exiting, iPhoto does a DB upgrade, then relaunching iPhoto, that choosing Create | Book or Card that there is a long load time with the pinwheel. The Mac Pro takes about 30 seconds to load the create a book, but the MBP takes about 2 minutes to load completely, the entire time sitting with a pinwheel.
    Has anyone seen this behavior? I was going to reinstall, but two Macs are doing it. Thanks.

    No one has seen this? I was actually using the new MacBook Airs in the store and the exact same thing happened. It's 100% a bug. I've seen the same exact thing on three different systems.

  • Two nalagent.exe processes w/ 100% cpu on App Launcher close

    Hello. We are wondering if nalagent.exe is supposed to be running twice as it does not appear to be this way on all workstations. One nalagent.exe process is running under NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, and the other nalagent.exe process is running under the username.
    Reason we are asking is because the one running under the username consumes 100% cpu immediately after closing the Application Launcher Window running on the desktop. Upon closing the Application Launcher, the AUTHORITY\SYSTEM nalagent.exe process closes, and the user nalagent.exe process remains and instantly spikes to 100% indefinitely (unless you kill the process in the task manager).
    Using Sysinternals Process Monitor reveals that nalagent.exe is constantly scanning for the following nonexistent registry key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NetWare\NAL\1.0\Process Management]. These registry lookups appear to be what is causing the 100% cpu usage, but why? Creating the Process Management key does not eliminate the lookups.
    This issue is possibly related to another 100% cpu bug we experienced with a "save icons" feature being stored under the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NetWare\NAL\1.0\Links] registry key. We followed the suggestion of deleting the Links key on logon in the following post and this seems to prevent nalagent.exe from automatically starting up at 100% cpu. Our current issue is only when closing the Application Launcher which starts the 100% cpu usage.

    We have considered preventing the Application Launcher from being closed but there appears to be an underlying problem we would like to understand further. Thank you for any information.

  • Big trouble with DENON DN-X1700 USB mixer/soundcard - CoreAudio bugs like in OS X 10.5.7

    Hello,
    I am using a DENON DN-X1700 mixer w/ USB 2.0 soundcard as main input+output in OS X 10.7.4, and it seems CoreAudio is buggy like in Mac OS X 10.5.7 . I'll explain the facts.
    The main issues are:
    1) Sound crackles and distorts;
    2) I cannot hear ANY signal is volume is not set to 100%
    3) Bug(?) in MIDI Control Panel.
    When I plugged the mixer into the USB port, OS X immediately recognized it as input and output device. To configure it, I opened the MIDI Control Panel (Utilities -> MIDI Audio Control Panel) and the following window appeared:
    [View fullscreen at https://tyrexionibus.com//uploads/05-2456062.png ]
    I mistakenly selected the other "Device" as clock source and the sound stopped working. By re-selecting the main "Device" (this makes some confusion, because both sources are named "Device") the sound still doesn't work.
    I managed to get it to re-work by selecting "48 kHz" as sampling frequency and then re-selecting "44.1 kHz", but now the sound crackles, distorts and is very bad even at low volumes. (Mixer is set to 44.1 kHz)
    In addition, I cannot modify the volumes for the 8 channels. Why?
    I need to wipe out the DN-X1700 configuration to go back as OS X never saw it. How can I do this?
    Before my mistake in selecting the other clock source, I could hear the sound, but ONLY if the volume slider was set to 10 (100%). Even at 99%, no master output was present.
    I have reported this to DENON too, you can view my thread at http://www.denondjforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=17858 .
    How can I solve these issues? Please help, I need it for work.

  • Windows 10 hiding taskbar in multi-monitors setup bug.

    This bug persists since windows 8.1 and is already discussed
    here, but it wasn't fixed in approx. half a year :( So, I'm gonna give it a try here.
    Here's the screenshot of it in Windows 10.
    Well, the bug is with incorrectly disappearing taskbar - taskbar "hides" not in the bottom of the screen, but "taskbar height pixels" higher (see the images in onedrive folder below). It hides in such a way only when you go to start screen
    with visible taskbar, wait until it disappears and return to desktop in any way (by pressing the win key, by selecting desktop on startscreen or by clicking the windows logo in the lower left corner);  this bug only appears with two monitors setup and
    heavily depends on monitors position - the secondary monitor bottom should be below primary monitor bottom (I mean not physical location, of course, but monitors' relative location in "Screen resolution" menu). The bug didn't appear before Update
    1; I can't confirm whether it is reproduceable only on my PC at the moment.
    I have reproduced the bug on windows 8.1 U1 across several computers with 100% success rate: two macbooks pro retina, lenovo laptop, two desktops (on one of them I reproduced the bug via teamviewer). I've reproduced it today in VMWare with windows 10 Technical
    Preview.
    This bug is really annoying - when it happens, you need "to cast some magic" - move the mouse to the bottom of the screen, activate/deactivate several applications, etc. in order for taskbar to reappear properly, let alone the fact that it looks
    unaesthetic.
    Skydrive folder with bug screenshot
    Screen recording of the bug
    Step-by-step guide with screenshots

    Yeah, I already did it. I just wanted to open it here, because I've been trying to contact MS about this bug for almost half a year with no success, so I'm just trying to bring their attention to this thing in all ways possible. I could reproduce this bug
    on all the systems I've tried so far, and I've managed to reproduce it even on VMWare in newly-installed windows 10 TP in a single try.
    @rgggg
    I can't understand what do you mean by weakness in graphics. It's a 100% functionality bug. Also, of course, I have nothing to do except reporting some non-existent bugs, making fake screenshots etc. I can't understand what do you mean about "intermediate
    servers", and it's almost impossible to change every Windows iso distributive I've downloaded in such a way that this bug will appear there :D
