1001 glitches in OS X Lion

Ok, I admit it.  The title of this post it a tad dramatic.  Perhaps I'm in a bad mood.  This is extremely possible.  One of the reasons for this is that my laptop that I used to enjoy using so much is now a real pain.  The few things that I like about the new OS X really don't compensate for the loss of functionality going from Snow Leopard to Lion.  Full screen apps are great.  The new mail is great.  I even like the new natural scrolling.  It was so easy to get used to (yes, natural even).
But now Safari is one glitch after another.  I can't flip back and forth between pages in iTunes or iPhoto.  These are things that I really enjoyed.  I've had to use force quit more in the last two months than I have in the last eight.  Why would Apple add scrolling between pages to Safari (not that it works that great) and take it away from iTunes and iPhoto?  I guess I'm just too logical and not very good at thinking outside the box.
I keep getting all these updates in my email from Macworld about OS X hints.  I didn't need all these hints before, it was easy to figure everything out.  Not anymore.  Features are great as long as they're not too much work.  It's kind of reminding me of windoze.
I'm not really looking for an answer.  I'm sure they'll get around to it sooner or later.  I guess they're too busy on security updates right now.  That's a good thing.  But the main reason I own Macs is because they're a joy to use.  Or used to be.  For me anyway.

There seem to be a few glitches in the Arrange/sort model.
You can actually Arrange by and Sort By separately. You can get to the Sort options by holding down the Option key while selecting the Arrangement button.
However, there aren't any sort options when you Arrange by Name. And it doesn't change the sort by option when you switch to Arrange by Name.
Try setting the Arrange by to None. Then, hold down the option key and press the Arrange button. What is it sorted by?
