103 Movement type GRN

Hai Experts,
I have one issue.
I will explain my secenario please guide me if i am doing wrong...
I used receive Solvent GRN, For this solvent first Quality person has to approve the material, then only material will be unloaded, utill & unless unload the material, we don't know received Quantity. With out GRN ( inspection lot in system ) QC person will not analysis the material.
For this my idea...
For 103 Movement type i have activated Quality... The movement i raise the GRN with 103 Movement type, system will create inspection lot number... So quality person will come & do the analysis with refference to this document.
Then for 105 movement type i have deactivated QM...
Here i have got one problem is... for 103 movement type system is not generating batch number... with out batch number quality person is not available give UD...
So please guide what configuration i have to for getting batch number with 103 Movement type.... in Create of batch... for 103.... automatic batch activated...
Please please please guide me ......

I think batch will not be created for 103 movement type becuase 103 is GR blocked stock. This is conditional acceptance of material. There are no accounting entries for this movement.
You can map your requirement without 103 & batch combinaton.
Batch managment should be activated and material should be Batch Managed.
Process would be
1. Receive material with 103. Here you need to post the quantity in Delivery challan.
2. QA / QC person should check the material in lying in GR blocked stock.
3. He / she will come and check the quality of the material and give OK for unloading the material.
4. After unloading the materal, you will get the correct quantity of the material.
5. Do 105 for the material. You will get batch no field in this time.
6. Material will come in stock with Batch.
The above scenario is when you accept OR reject the full quantity of the material sent by supplier.
If you wish to receive partial quantity, then do 105 for the approved quantity. But this will not be possible in case of liquids.

Inspection Lot creation for the 103 movement type

Dear Experts,
we have the requirement of Creating the Inspection lot for the 103 movement type. we have done all the necessary settings for 103 movement type (in OMJJ and under the node Quality Management --> Quality Inspection -->Inspection Lot Creation -->Inspection for Goods Movements) but still I am unable to achieve the results. Same is happening for 105 movements.
Kindly let us know what settings need to be done in order to achieve the same.

Hi,
If you have activated two inspection types (eg 01, 0101) of same inspection lot origin (01), in material master you should have a preferred indicator set for the inspection type for which you want to be selected when you perform goods receipt.
This check box is available in the inspection type set up in the Material master.
Also check whether the post to inspection stock indicator is set for the material (in the inspection type), then only material will be posted to inspection stock.
Please confirm, what happens to the stock after making MIGO. check in MMBE and confirm
Go through the link and maintain the necessary settings. I think default settings for 01 type should work.

Use t.code: OMJJ,enter 103 movement type and keep BLANK which stand for No Document Printout in the field of Print item in the Entry Control segment and save.

Transfer Order in WM with 103 Movement type In IM

Please sugget me ,whether it can be possible to Create TO for movment type 103 .? Please suggest me the steps.

Here i a following the standard flow
1.MIGO with 101 in Storage location.
2.TO generation .
3.TO confirmation in desired BIN.
But after 1st step the stock is present in storage location ,then from there only it will be available for sales in System , but i want to make it available after Putaway beacuse of WM.
Also i dont want the imidiate confirmation of TO .I want it seperately to do.
Please suggest me.

103 and 105 movement type

I have done 103 movement type with 100 quantity...
but i want to do GR 105 movement type with 110 Quantity....
System is giving Error M7022 which is maintained as a warning only.........

105 Release GR blocked stock for warehouse
Check stock availability in GR block stock if same is 110 then only u can pass trnx. with 110 qty and 105 movement .if stock is less than 110 system will give stock deflict error which is currently ur getting
Check first GR block stock for that material and try to remove only that much stock

Transfer Request for the movement type 103

Dear Experts,
We are creating Batch and we are receiving the batches against movment typ 101. in the sane time material is comming to WM through 103 movement type.
Against 103 mov. type one TR will create. but in our case while doing stock transfer from storage type 901 [GR for Production] to 001[FG Stock] we are directly using LT10 transaction, If we do the stock trasfer here it will not ask TR No againt which TO has to be cleared.
Now I have observed in LB11 [TR display] since last year all TR are appearing in the list. Is there any harm in our process since we have not done TO against TR.
Please suggest how to come out from this situation.

Old TRs won't cause any problem. You can eliminate them in LB02 > (menu) > Edit > Set Final Delivery.
If you want to eliminate TR creation for GR, you have to carry out you settings in SPRO > LE > WM > Interfaces > IM > Define Movement Types - here choose LE-WM interface and remove the TR creation indicator from V_T321-TBFKZ of the relevant WM-mvt record.
However, if you have TR and process it to get the TO, you can manually modify the suggestion given by SAP's search strategy. In this case you could use TR insted of manual LT10 process.

Abap report103 movement type is done and 105 is NOT done.

Requirement need materials for which 103 movement type is done and 105 is NOT done.
Scenario: - Material comes in company means we do movement 103 for that. after that we do movt. type 105 for that material. I want those material document list that had 103 but not 105.
Means material has enters in company but movt. type 105 not done.
Please advice am abap fresher

Check the table content with BWART = 105
Get the EBELN Nos.
Pass the EBELN into EKKO Table, Get the value of Field FRGKE.
if FRGKE <> 'G'.
ie. Document not yet released.

QM for raw material 103 mv. type

Hello QM Gurus,
Please help me in following senario,
When I am doing GR for the raw material, I am posting the stock to blocked stock through 103 mov. type.
In system the inspection lot is being created but it is not in released status, although inspection plan is properly defined, hence I cannot do the result recording for the lot.
If anybody can suggest where the problem is.

I'm listing out some common mistakes because of which the Lot wont be in REL status.
First in MM03 QM view -check for the inspection type(01) and 05 for other GR to be active.This should be fine in ur case since your are saying the lot is created.Make sure the check mark Automatic assignment to be checked ,Check characs and also Insp with task list.
Second-Make sure the inspection Plan(QP01 display) was created with the same Key date as the Insepction lot or even earlier .The key date can be checked under qa03 to display Insp lot.
Third-make sure the Usage is the same as in the Inspection lot.The usage is the one which links the Plan to the Lot .It should be 5 for GR from PO and 53 for other GR in the insp plan. You can check the Inscpetion lot usage by going to QA03.
Check all these, ur problem should be solved.Please let me know if there is any furthur problem.And also reward if helpful and close the thread.

BORGR 649 error message while posting with 105 mov type

Hi Gurus,
I faced a problem when I try to post with 105 mov type, when material doc is related to Inbound delivery.
Explained better:
I did a purchase order with inbound delivery confirmation.
I carried out Good Receipt (related to Inb delievery) with mov type 103 (blocked stock from PO)
When I try to post stock with 105 mov type, the following error appear:
"Movement type 105 not allowed as it is not assigned to item category"
Msg ID: BORGR
Msg no: 649
I already checked delivery item category configuration, movement types involved and transactions allowed for each mov types.
Take care that the error mentioned doesn't occur if posting is related directly to purchase order, instead of inbound delivery..

Hi Sandra_PF
in the inbound delivery the mov type is not 105, but 101 (correct, it's the default value for Inb delivery)
With transaction MIGO I do 2 different operations (in 2 different moments):
1°) Good Receipt referred to Inbound delivery (103 mov type - Blocked stock from PO)
2°) Stock posting with 105 mov type, to transfer stock from Blocked to Unrestricted
Here the system notice me that is not possible, because the mov type 105 is not assigned to the delivery inboud category.
Please note that we did the same thing in another system with the same configuration, without any problems..

How to restrict movement type field in MIGO Tcode

I want to restrict the users for 103 movement type through MIGO tcode.
I have searched for the objects and assigned the value 103 in the movement type field, but it is not solving my problem.
Is there any other way?

If all your users are need to be blocked from using 103 movement type then go to OMJJ@Movement type 103@Allowed transaction@here remove the assignment of 103 with MIGO
If you want to do it through authorization then try out with your BASIS person M_BEFU_ALL for all authorizations in Inventory Management

Issue with Movement type

Dear Experts,
I am facing issue and in understanding with movement type 103,105 and 106.
Purchase order has been created with 100 pcs
1) Movement type 103 made for block stock.
2) Movement type 105 to remove stock from block stock.
3) Movement type 106 to reverse 105?
When I try to check EKBE table it shows me different entry
Purchase document EBELN compare with Reference document LFBNR
Movement type 103     Reference document is same document number
Movement type 105     Give reference document number as 103
Movement type 106     Give reference document number as 103.
Question - Why Movement type 106 show reference document number of 103.

hi,
Please check the table MSEG. for 106, it will have reference for material document of 105
field SMBLN instead of LFBNR
With this field, you can go for the logic.
select all docs from EKBE
Moreover, you can use field MKPF-XBLNR for getting the delivery note field which will be same for cancelation docs. for ex 105 and 106 wil have this same value
this field will make it easy for you to group the GR and their reversals for calculations.

103 Movement

Hi all, I want to restrict 103 movement for special Material Type or Material Group. as I see there isn't any standart solution.but, there is a link between item category and movement type. can I use it for purchased materials? can I customize a new item category and link the related movements? which transaction is linking two information?

if you want restriction of 103 movement type then take a help of basis consultant and abaper for authorization and development and chek it

Trace movement type 105 for MBLNR

Hi all,
I m generating a report in which i have to capture mblnr whose movement type 103 has been done but movement type 105 has not been done.
For ex:
PO(ebeln)    GR No(mblnr)        Movement Type(bwart)

How can i trace that Movement Type 105 has been done for mblnr 5000473054 .Is there any field/reference doc populated,
when 103 movement type is converted into movement type 103.

We too have been dealing with the same problem. In fact my report gives me the expected result for local POs but not for Import POs. Reason bieng the LFBNR field of MSEG gets populated with the MBLNR in case of local POs but not for Import POs, because in case of Import POs MIRO for Custom Duty etc. takes place before 103 and 105.
This seems to be a problem with the configuration of these movement types or business process with most of the Indian industries. In my view it requires change in the business process in case of Import POs.
