How to set image size/resolution when opening a raw file in pse 11 editor??
win 7 pro; pse 11 settings: edit>preferences>print resolution = 337.596, screen resolution 109 dpi( 27 inch, dell U 2711). Originally print resoltuion was set to 240 dpi  but was changed in case this was causeing a problem. CRAW v 7.4.0.137
Camera alpha 65, image size is: 6000x3376 dpi; (83.33x46.88 inch)
Problem is: Currently when I edit a RAW file in CRAW and then open in pse editor image size is: 6000x3376 px; 25x14.667 inches at 240 dpi ( by ration this corresponds to:17.773x10 inch at 337.6 dpi)
I am trying to change settings so the raw file opens as: 17.776x10 and anywhere from240 to 337.6 dpi
whatever works or is esiest to set.
My settings are for use in creating blue ray dvd movies and with cropping and editing printing high quality pictures for family.
Thanks  in advance for any help you can provide.

    That's a Sony Alpha SLT-A65?
Are those pixel dimensions of 6000 x 3376 the size the camera raw files came out of the camera?
You can't really change the resolution that the photoshop elements version of camera raw opens the the files into the pse 11 at.
(i think 240 is the default for most cameras)
You can however set the resolution with Image>Resize>Image Size if you need to for printing or other uses.
In the Image size dialog uncheck Resample Image and enter the resolution.

  • How to set image size in a table view

    Hi,
I've just built a small VC application showing some process chain logs in a table view. For the different status types Error, Warning and Success I show the well-known traffic light icons. But up to now I haven't found out how to set the image size in a table view (height & width field is greyed out for the table). Any ideas? Or is it just not possible?
    Thanks for your help,
    Heiko

    Hello Heiko,
I don't know, if it is possible, but I would say,
it's not implemented yet. Maybe you can change the picture size and use then the pictures, that might be a workaround, if you can't change the height and width in VC.
    Best Regards,

  • How to set image size for importing photos from a digital camera

I'm using Iphoto 6 and am a novice user of my new digital camera. The camera is set to HQ image quality. Initially when I imported photos from the camera into IPhoto, the images were very large (over 1 meg) and produced good quality 4X6 prints. Now when I import photos from the same camera still set to HQ image quality, the photos are very small (less than 100 kb) after being imported into IPhoto. I think I must have changed some kind of setting in IPhoto that affects the size of an imported image, but I can't find where that is or how to change it back so that the size is not changed when imported. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks!

Dave, thanks for clarifying Toad's response for me - I was just too ignorant to connect the dots from his responses. As you said, there were 2 versions - 1 in the original folder and 1 in data; the original folder had the photos that were 1 mb. We must have pulled from that folder previously to print photos not realizing they existed in 2 places. So when we found these thumbnail photos, we just thought they were the real thing. Where can you go to learn about the struction and hierarchy of the photos in terms of what Iphoto does to an image when you import it? Is it in Iphoto help somewhere? Thanks so much for your help with this, and you too Toad for leading me down the path.
If you're getting the size from Finder, I think Old
Toad's question makes a lot of sense. Is the file
you're looking at, somewhere in a folder called
"Data" in iPhoto Library? That 56k sounds about the
    right size for a thumbnail.
If you do a search for the image name, both the
actual photo and the small thumbnail are stored with
    the same image, e.g. abc.jpg

  • Set image size in an Interactive Report

    Hello,
I am running APEX 4.1 on Oracle 11g.  I am trying to resize images in either an IR or a classic report to be 100px x 100px.  The images are of various sizes, but all larger than the size I want to display.  The images are stored as.jpg images, and I need to access them via URL.  I have this in my select statement:  '<img src=https://aaa.bbbbb.edu:10056/inbpics/' || 'I00' || substr(spriden_id,5,5)|| '.JPG>' pic and it works to display the image, but it displays the image at its full size.  I try adding height and width values to the query, like: '<img src=https://rand.wvnet.edu:10056/inbpics/' || 'I00' || substr(spriden_id,5,5)|| '.JPG height=100 width=100>' pic but the image doesn't display because it adds the height=100 to the end of the path for the image.
I know I could create thumbnails of the images, but there are several thousand images with more being added constantly, and it would be too much work to try to keep up with.
Is there a way to set the height and width of an image in a report?
    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hello,
Change your query to include "class" for images.
    '<img class="img100-100" src=https://aaa.bbbbb.edu:10056/inbpics/' || 'I00' || substr(spriden_id,5,5)|| '.JPG>'
Now put following CSS in Page HTML Header or Footer.
    <style>img.img100-100 {height: 100px; width: 100px;}</style>
    Regards,
    Hari

  • Setting image size

how do i set an image to a particular size on a form

There are no methods for resizing in MIDP. The image will appear in the size it was made.
That being said, if you're working with a MIDP 2.0 phone you could try this.

  • How to set image size in iPhone?

Me and my wife have iPhones and today I noticed that the pics taken with her Iphone were about 4 MB each while mine were about 45 KB, in both cases pictures were taken with the rear camera.
Her is version 5.1.1. IPhone 4S model MD239KS and mine the same version but Iphone 4 and model MC604KS.
Is there som easy explanation to the difference in sizes and is there some way to adjust the sizes?
    Thanks, Anders

No way to adjust the sizes.  The iP4S has an 8MP sensor, the iP4 has a 5MP sensor, thus the difference in sizes, although the pic from the iP4 should be larger than 45k.

  • Image size using percent set - resets to pixel size on edit of page. Need to stop that behavior.

I need to set image sizes using percent so they are resized per screen. (obviously).  I do so and save the web page. If I reopen the page for editing the darn images reset to pixels. In other words it is actually forcing the percentage size to a pixel size which means I have "fix" every darn image on a page again.
What am I doing wrong? Is this behavior changeable? I looked through preferences and found no such item.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks, Jack

    Hi
If you are using the html5 doctype then this is the correct behaviour as % values are not allowed on images within an html5 document. If it is html5 then set the % values using css.
If it is any other doctype then all I can suggest is to report this as a bug at - https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&product=12

  • Error -1074396120 IMAQ Get Image Info Error "Not an image"

    Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on Machine Vision project. It has to measure distance of small metal elements, which moves on a conveyor. I've built and tested measurement algorithm in NI Vision Builder and it worked really cool. Today I tried to migrate inspection to LabVIEW in order to add features connected with sensors which I use in my project. When migration completed I run a VI, and suddenly got error:
Error -1074396120 occured at IMAQ Get Image Info
    Not an image.
I use in my project Logitech Pro 9000, and I can see it in MAX. I acquire image in 640x480 resolution as RGB2. I read somewhere that it could be caused by RGB colors of image. In my algorithm after acquiring image is thresholded in order to get binary image.
Please tell me which block diagrams should I attach to this post to make it more understandable for you (if it is needed). Is it possible to fix this error ? Did anyone sorted it out already ? Thanks for any help.
    Best regards,
    Michael

First of all I would like to apologize for long delay in replying and thank you for your replies.
    @toto26:
Yes, I used before threshold function a function you mentioned. The problem is that my algorithm works correctly in Vision Builder, but after migrating to LabVIEW, when I run a VI it doesn't work. It's strange for me.
The problem also occurs when I made my algorithm as simple as possible - now it includes two steps: acquisition and find edge function. After migration it still cannot acquire an image. Below I present an error and a place where it occurs (process ID already in use):
I think that it would be easier and faster when I understand IMAQ functions. I want to build my algorithm from the beginning in LabVIEW, because I would be aware of every part of my program. Please tell me if it is possible with my camera. Could you suggest me where can I find information about building vision application in LabVIEW for beginners. What keywords should I look for.
    Thanks for any advice,
    Michael

  • Error message: incompatible image size when using IMAQ in image processing

I want to do low pass filter and convolution on an acquired image. When I connect the image to the VI, the message: incompatible image size appears. I have tried to set the border to 3 in IMAQ create, but it does not help. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

    Hello,
Which particular VI is outputting this error? Did you try larger border sizes (5,7)? What is the exact error code and error string?

A couple things might be causing this problem-
    1) The convolution matrix is bigger than 7x7, or
    2) You have created an image, but there is not yet anything in the buffer
You can check number 2 by doing a winDraw window just before you do the convolution.

  • Image size after calibration and IMAQ Learn Calibration Template VI in Vision 2012

    Hi there
I'm trying to setup a calibration for our fluoroscope camera. I got some pictures of a grid and try to implement a distortion model now.
It works more or less fine. But there are still some problems and questions
    1. All my Images are 1000x1000 pixel. After correcting them with the calibration they change their size depending on the Method(937x928 at the moment).
Thereby I lose some information, because some details at the border are cut off. Additionally I would have to increase the size of every image manually for the further processes. Does anyone know how i can implement that the corrected images are still 1000x1000 in size?
    2. At the moment I'm using the "IMAQ Learn Calibration Template VI" which I found in an older example. In vision 2012 this vi doesn't exist anymore? Why is this, and how could I implement it now, with using current vi's?
Tried it with the "IMAQ Learn Camera Model" combined with the "IMAQ Calibration Target to Points - Circular Dots", a tresholding a
nd "IMAQ Correction Learn Setup". But the result is much worse this way.
Thanks for your help in advance.
    Stefan

    Thank you for your answer.
I tried it with changing the border size(tried different values), but the results are still the same (still 937x928). Do I have to set the image size anywhere?
What would be the best way to resize the image? Should I just copy it on a black 1000x1000 square?
And do you have any suggestions how I can build the "IMAQ Learn Calibration Template" with 2012 vi's? I tried it with the code of my first post, but the results are totally different to this: Why this block doesn't exist anymore? Seems to be much easier for me

I'm using Save for Web (CS3) and scaling the file to different sizes with "scale image". I'm wanting to use the same scale settings for many images but when I save the pre-set the image size settings don't get saved. I'm wanting to use it as part of an action but the setting wont stick. That's never been saved as part of the S4W presets. Bloody annoying.
