1099 MISC forms for 2009 Layout

Does anybody know if the SAP Notes for 1099 forms for 2009 layout has been released? I would appreciate if you can provide the SAP Notes Numbers. We are on ECC 6.0

That note explains the changes and says they will be released in November 2009, but I have not seen the release yet. I did see that yesterday they released note: 1413409 but it says to apply a HOTFIX and it is for Support Package SAPK-10102INA1SBCCG, SP 02 for A1S_BCCG 1.01 *** prepackage 02.11.09 ***" .
We are also on ECC 6.0 but are also installing EhP 4 this weekend. Our BASIS team says this note does not apply to us but it is the only one I have seen for 1099 Misc forms. So I am interested in the same note Marco is, please.

In report ending with 7000134 there is a tab called Output control and lists and you can configure the required layout there. Check with the AP department for IRS file format.

1099 Misc reporting for US in SAP Standard report not containing any value

HI All,
In my current clients requirement is to get the SAP Standard reprort for 1099 Misc reporting for US
1) Accordingly i have done configuration for Withholding tax for US with tax type FE
2) There are 14 WHT Tax codes under FE , like 01 = Rent , 02 = royalty, 03 = other income etc.
3) Assigned Tax type with Co. Code
4) Activated WHT tax at Co. code
5) Created WHT country US
And also assign WHT tax type FE and respective tax code to vendors in Accounting info in Vendor Master
Posted couple of vendor invoices and made payment for those also
Then after this when i run the SAP Standard report for 1099 Misc reporting for US , then the output contains with no data.. but only contains vedor names and WHT tax code which i have assigned..
I think i have missed some configuration may be . Can any one let me know the detail step by step config and process how to get proper out put in 1099 Misc reporting for US in Standard reporting..

Printing 1099 MISC form

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to print 1099 MISC form. Sap has give a standard smartform " IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC " for this purpose. The only problem with this form is it prints Copy B for recipient of the the usual 1099 form .
It does not have pages for printing Copy A for IRS , Copy 1 for State tax Dept, Copy 2 and Copy C.
I would appreciate if you can let me know if the form i am using is the right one. If it is the right form then what did you do to print the other copies.
If it is not the right form then let me know the right form name and print program or Transaction code.

Hello Rupendra,
When running the 1099's, you can do a print preview. In the print preview, there is a "Suppress/Display Background Graphics" push button that toggles between displaying the form and not displaying the form. What needs to be done is to send the 1099 to the print spooler without the background graphics. This only prints the data. Then you print the data on pre-printed Copy A, Copy B, and Copy 1. ...

1099 MISC Form - IRS

Hi All,
I want to print 1099 Misc and send the E-file to IRS as per the guidelines.
However i am not sure of the output as the state code, which is mandatory as per IRS guidelines, is not appearing in the file generated by T.Code using s_p00_07000134.
There is a specific T.code s_p00_07000314 for this. Here at the end i can see the State code in the file.
However the client says last year they have used the previous transaction code and modified this report as per IRS requirement.
If any one has worked on this report and the file is approved by IRS, please guide me in this regard.

How to develop a single form for multiple Layouts in Adobe

Hi experts,
I have Developed an AdobeForm in Letter Layout.
Is there any settings in ADS/Layout in SFP, for giving print in both Letter and A4 Pages without developing new Page Layout?
We are facing allignment issues, if print is given in A4.

We cannot change the Page Layout and Orientation dynamically in Adobe forms.
To achieve this Create two forms with different layouts each.

Print 1099 MISC form

All,
We applied the 2008 1009 oss note. Now I'm trying to test print in T03. Once I execute the program, I went to SPA script to print the form on a plain sheet. I could to print preview.But, I'm unable create spool. I did choose the Print form option and my printer is local printer. I'm able print other forms to this printer.

Our organization is having this issue with the new Adobe forms that were released. The 1099 smartforms print 2 forms per page but the 1099 adobe forms are only printing 1 form per the OSS note that was just released - Note: 1949022. Is there somewhere in config that we can select to print 2 per page?
We are using IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC which will print just 1 form per page ( we also had to make some adjustments because the top gets cut off...)
form IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC1 will print 2 forms per page but it is not a new vendor that prints on the form it is a copy of the first on the page
The 1099 Interest adobe form prints 2 per page with IDWTCERT_US_1099INT - this is curious too because the smartform prints 3 forms per page
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you know how to resolve it?I am considering putting in a problem report.

1099 MISC Forms S_P00_07000134

SAp Gurus,
I am executing tcode S_P00_07000134 - Generic Withholding Tax Reporting for my 1099 when I execute I get only form B I do not get for 1 and A in addition to to form 1096 that comes with it, does anyone knows the process? Am i missing anything?

I figure it out, when Print Preview click on selection where you can suppresed Background. This will print only the data needed. You will need to buy or order 1099 forms and feed them in your printer. You will have to do it 3 times for each forms, 1, B and C.

Printing 1099-Misc forms - 1 up forms?

We are using RFIDYYWT to print 1099-MISCu2019s but do not want to use the SAP standard "2 up" 1099 form.
We need to print one 1099 vendor per page instead of the SAP standard of 2 different vendors on each page, because we use a fold and seal form, and print a second copy for the recipient. I have scanned and loaded a new bitmap overlay with SE78 and have created a new SMARTFORM for our 1099, basically a copy of the original IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC SMARTFORM, and have created a second output group (US2) for the US_1099 process type to reference the new form.
All of this was pretty basic work, although getting the scanned overlay image the right size is tricky.
My current issue is we are dropping every other 1099, e.g. the program thinks it is still sending 2 vendors per page to the form.     I need to find how to set the output to one 1099 per page. (If I can't I will redo as a 2 page form as a fall back, but that is an awful solution.)
Does anyone know how to control the 1099 output to indicate 1 vendor instead of 2 per output form?

Printing two vendors per page is controlled by somewhat convoluted logic within the IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC Smartform MAIN window logic.   Look for references to the "append_time" counter and the SUBPAGENO counter.   These are used to control paging every other record. I've got it working but have some remaining cleanup to get it completely right.

1099 Misc Report RFW1099M - Form for 2010

Hello,
We are on 4.6 and are using Program : RFW1099M and Transaction Code: S_P9C_18000158. How to find an appropriate Form for 2010 - 1099 Mics Printing.
Do we have to create a new form every year?
Do we have to download SAP Note every year?
Do we have to modify the existing Form (If any) in the system?
Please let me know your thoughts?

The 1099 misc form is released by sap every year, usually around november. So I guess this answers all three questions you have.

Hi Experts,
We need to run the 1099 Misc process every year. we have developed a custom program copying the standard program RFW1099M. Before starting the 1099 Misc process for the 01/01/2009 to 31/12/2009 we need to know the OSS notes for this standard program RFW1099M.
Please any one let me know the OSS notes for the standard program RFW1099M which is applicable for this process after 31/12/2009.

1099 Misc- RFIDYWWT program not selecting by clearing date

Hello,
I am trying to run the transaction S_P00_07000134 - Generic Withholding Tax Reporting for 1099 Misc forms in ECC6.0. It is not pulling the vendor line items by the clearing date like the old 4.6 1099 program did (RFW1099M). For example, an item was posted in 2007 and paid in 2008. This is not getting picked up in the RFIDYWWT program. Am I missing something? I've selected Document clearing date under the output control and lists, but I don't think that's the right spot for data selection.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks Carol! That is exactly it. I did resort to putting in an OSS message - and that's what they told me after she "yelled" at me for asking the question...it wasn't a software issue, but remote consulting. I'd like to see where in the SAP help it tells you that if you're not familiar with the program!

1099 Misc by SSN not by Vendor ID

Dear Experts:
We use tcode: s_p00_07000134 / program RFIDYYWT to generate our 1099 MISC forms and file. We are on ECC 604 and have Extended Withholding Tax activated.
The forms and file are generated by Vendor ID but unfortunately we have some vendors with the same TIN. Is there a way to change the config/program to group by TIN when calculating tax amounts instead of by Vendor ID?
