HI,
System for the DMEE IDWTFILE_US_1099 (Tree type WTRE).
Could you please change the atom handling flag of the Node
Payee Mailing Addr to 01
I shall explain you the steps required:
a) Transaction DMEE -> Tree Type WTRE -> Format Tree IDWTFILE_US_1099
b) Navigate in the order through the nodes : Transmitter A Record ->
State Totals K Rec -> Transmitter B Record -> Payee Mailing Addr
c) Currently the atom handling for this node is set as blank ; please
change it to '01' as shown in the screenshot.
d) Save and activate the tree.

1099 MISC 2011 file length

Hi Experts
This relates to 1099 MISC 2011 file length. We have applied SAP note 1666672 that pertains to 2011 changes.While the form print looks good, when i compared the file with P1220 ( The publication that specifies details on tax filing), i found that P1220 states that length of records should be 750 for the T and B records - however in my case i get only 746 characters
I generated the file in txt and opened with excel and used LEN to count the length of the records
Any suggestions? - Is there a further SAP note that is to be applied or a i missing something on the DMEE side of it.
Further is P1220 the Gospel to compare the correctness with.

note 1666672 was updated 25th, please, review version 4.
Also make sure you have applied the corrections or steps from notes
1635493, 1673257 and and 1649356.

HP Stream 7 The boot configuration data file is missing some required information

I have an HP Stream 7 tablet. When I open it up it shows a blue screen with the error "The boot configuration data file is missing some required information." Can anyone help as I can't get into the tablet to solve the error!

Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand you're unable to boot up your Stream 7 tablet.
Try accessing the recovery partition by holding the volume down button and power button at the same time. Please excuse my ignorance, as exact information on accessing the recovery manager appears to be unavailable for this exact model. If the down button doesn't work, up should get you in.
Once in the recovery manager you should be able to select Troubleshoot > Startup repair.
If the startup repair does not fix the issue I would suggest trying the full system recovery option, which you should find under Troubleshoot > Advanced.

File: \BCD file is missing some required information

When trying to boot my HP Split x2 laptop I'm getting a BLUE SCREEN error "Recovery Your PC needs to be repaired. The Boot Configuration Data file is missing some required information. File: \BCD Error Code: 0xc0000034. I've tried everything that I can think of, but I can't get by this screen. I have no CD/DVD drive in this model so I can't run any diagnostic tools, even if I had a tools CD/DVD. I'm stuck! Please help!

Went into a command prompt and ran a few bootrec commands:
Bootrec /fixMBR
bootrec /fixBoot
bootrec /rebuildBCD
This resolved things for me

1099 misc file format not able to get for multiple WHT code??

Dear Experts,
I am trying to download the file format for 1099 misc IRS reporting for e-filling, i am getting the file for one WHT code 07. but when i am executing this transaction S_P00_07000134 for multiple WHT Code 01 to 14, in the file format, Amount entries are available for all the WHT Code but In the Record "A" only Account code "C" is coming. i have implemented the SAP Note 1666672 version 3 before executing this transaction. Please let me know this is a configuration issue or i am missing to apply other SAP Note. this is very high priority issue now.
Any comments on this are highly appreciated.

I am seeing the same issue. This worked for us last year. But this year the A Record indicates that we only have Withholding code 7, yet our detail records have withholding amounts in columns 1, 6, and 7.
IRS rules state that multiple withholding codes should be concatenated in ascending order in the Header 'A'Record. This must be an issue with the 2011 DMEE file, IDWTFILE_US_1099.xml as this is the only thing that changed in the 2011 note.
Actually, I've just compared last year's IDWTFILE_US_1099.xml file with this year's, and in the part of the transformation where the withholding amount codes are concatenated, it appears a bug was introduced. I'm going to hand-edit my copy of the file to see if it resolves the issue, and I'll cross my fingers that SAP produces a 4th update to note 1666672

My ideapad U310 doesn't boot any more after the boot procedure was interrupted by power outage.
A blue screen shows the following:
Recovery
Your PC needs to be repaired
The Boot Configuration Data file is missing some required information.
File: \BCD
Error Code: 0xc000000d
You'll need to use the recovery Tools on your installation Media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.
Press ESC for UEFI Firmware Settings

I can only make one suggestion. Boot from usb Recovery flash drive and hope that the startup repair will do their magic to your unit.

1099-MISC Reporting Transmitter Record to IRS

I am researching the file layout for the 1099-MISC data that is transmitted to the IRS in March of each year. The instructions for the "T" transmitter record for field position 519 through 704 require your software vendor information in these fields if the value in Field 518 = V.
I thought that I recalled seeing the SAP (for US) information somewhere in the IMG, but I cannot find it at this time. Could someone please direct me to the correct area to locate the information?

1099 MISC Form - IRS

Hi All,
I want to print 1099 Misc and send the E-file to IRS as per the guidelines.
However i am not sure of the output as the state code, which is mandatory as per IRS guidelines, is not appearing in the file generated by T.Code using s_p00_07000134.
There is a specific T.code s_p00_07000314 for this. Here at the end i can see the State code in the file.
However the client says last year they have used the previous transaction code and modified this report as per IRS requirement.
If any one has worked on this report and the file is approved by IRS, please guide me in this regard.

In report ending with 7000134 there is a tab called Output control and lists and you can configure the required layout there. Check with the AP department for IRS file format.

Issue in 1099 IRS file

1099 IRS tax files are generated by organizations to report financial information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States. They are used to report income and calculate taxes to be paid in United States. In SAP it is done using report (S_P00_07000134) for 1099 form and IRS file. In the IRS file which we are generating we are -
u2022Unable to create the IRS file for multiple companies in the correct format - only 1 "T" record for entire file, and each "A" record needs to have the correct TIN and Company Name for each individual company.
u2022When filing for multiple companies, there should only be 1 "F" record at the very bottom which contains a total count of all the "A" records and the "B" records.
If anyone has faced similar issue with IRS file generation, please let me know.

Ok some things first I need to know...Did you use Microsoft cleanup utility to clean up all those uninstalls you have done?
I hate Norton and anyone who reads my posts will know that. I have seen way too many infected PC's by Norton users. Did you try the EWIDO and AdAware scan? I see you said you read lots of posts. That is helping folks remove the malware in order to get iTunes and quicktime back to health.

House number is missing in the output

K records not being created on IRS file for 1099 reporting

My company went live on SAP in July 2008. 2010 will be our 3rd year to do 1099 reporting. When we generate the IRS file, we are not getting any K records.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?

We had the same issue & we referred to FAQ.pdf file in OSS note 1546868 where it asks us to add 'DELAY' to 'Atom handling' field in DMEE tcode for tree WTRE.
But the issue is that it created only 1 K record for the whole 1099 file but it should have created one K record per state. So we are still trying to get that taken care of somehow.

No you will not lose your content reinstalling iTunes.
Do this:
1: Download and run the Registry Cleaner of the free Ccleaner.
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
2: Next follow this Apple document to un-install iTunes
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
3: Just for good measure, run Ccleaner again
4: Reinstall iTunes.
5: Come back here and click my "Correct answer" button.

Anyone having a problem with the latest number software. Docs do not open Invalid. The index .xml file is missing?

I have been having problems since updating to the latest version of Numbers.
When I try to open files I am getting an error.
"The document “'13 Tax Prep .numbers” is invalid.
The index.xml file is missing."
Anyone else getting this message? Anyone know how to fix the issue?

Agreed on that part. But take it a step further. If Numbers 3.1 is asked to open an old document that is still in the old Numbers 2 format that relies on an index.xml file but Numbers 3.1 can't find the index.xml file (perhaps the document is corrupted) then how can Numbers 3.1 open the document and interpret it in order to convert it to the new format? My guess is that this a possible trigger for the 'index.xml missing' error message.
