10g Bug: new attributes don't show up until restart JDev

When I edit my Offline Database Objects and my Java classes to add new attributes, the new fields show up in the TopLink mapping screens, but the new attribute is not available for mapping until I exit JDeveloper and restart it.

It sounds like you are unable to see any new apps you install until after you restart the device. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone again and test the issue and let me know how it goes:

Have you installed the Lightroom CC program from the creative cloud desktop manager? If you are certain you are running Lightroom CC then face recognition will be on the toolbar in the library module. If you don't see the toolbar then press the letter T.

New Formulas don't show under Select Expert --Record

Some how my CR 2008 don't show new formulas in my report when I go in Select Expert-Record, all the formulas show under Field Explorer?? the odd part is that old formulas still showing only new ones don't show is a setup that I'm missing????

The old formulas most likely have the evaluation time function WhileReadingRecords or BeforeReadingRecords referenced in them.
Try adding WhileReadingRecords to your new formulas (If CR can process those formulas at that time) and you should be able to see them in the Record Select Expert.

Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on.

New Photos Don't Show On My Apple TV -- Is There a limit? An "Update" button? ...?

I have my Apple TV 2nd gen set so that after two minutes is shows photos from my computer as screensaver.
I have an album in iPhoto where I drag the photos I want and I've told the Apple TV to pick up those photos. Has always worked fine.
Recently I added some pictures to that album but they don't show on the Apple TV -- just the previous photos are on display. Is there a limit? There are 94 photos in that album. Have I forgotten some sort of "update" button? ...
All the settings both on the Apple TV and my iTunes look fine and I recently ran whatever update Apple wanted me to (I had this photo hiccup both before and after that upgrade so that ain't it).
Any suggestions?

Possible iTunes issue:
Try the following after adding photos.
Go to file
Then Home Sharing
Select photos to share
Click on All Photos already selected Do anyway
When Apply turns black click on Apply
Now go to Apple TV to see if photos there
Or restart iTunes.
Works for me every time photos do not appear on my Apple TV 3

Report Painter - New Columns Don't Show Up

Hello All,
We have a report painter report that was copied from an existing report in transaction CJE5 (for modifying the form) and then assigned in CJE1 (to a report). The copied report was functioning properly with an existing tcode assignment. Now, I am trying to add new columns to the same form and I was able to add and save everything to the form without errors. However, when I execute the report, these new columns don't appear on the report. Can anyone suggest why?
One thing I notice was that when I went to the "Report Parameters", the list of "Columns" does not include the columns that I added. I cannot figure out how to add them to the list so that they would start appearing on the report output.

Hello Suresh, Thanks for the suggestion, but report painter is a functional area and the ABAPer should not be required to insert a new column and make it appear on the report. Any more suggestions, please?

New icons don't show

I recently had trouble with my G4 booting up and was told to use the start up disk to run the disk utility. I did that and it fixed the problem. However, I think it created a new one. I plugged in my digital today and the icon drive didn't come up enabling me to download the pictures. I thought it might be a cable problem, but I put a disk into the zip drive and it's icon didn't show up so I could not access it? Any answers?

This may be a silly question, but are you referring to the icons on the main desktop (rather than a Finder window side bar) ? It may be worth checking the Finder preferences (Finder menu -> Preferences... option) to see whether the 'Show these items on the Desktop' options are still set correctly.

New files don't show

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me.
I've just had my macbook in for repairs, and they told me the motherboard needed replacing etc.
Anyway, I got it back today and everything seems fine except one small thing.
When I download a new file to my desktop or anywhere else for that matter it doesn't show up. If I search for it in spotlight it will find the files where they should be, or if I try to open the file through a prog. it can also see it, but that is the only way. I have also gone into the info and clicked "show extension" and that seems to work, but only for that individual file and not all of the invisible files as a whole.
Any idea what's happening and how I can fix it so that new files I add to my machine show up?

Digital Editions 2.0 on two computers but new books don't show

I just installed Digital Editions 2.0.1 on my PC. I had already installed 2.0 on my notebook. I then downloaded some e-books using the PC. These new books do not appear on my notebook version of Digital Editions. How do I get the two co-ordinated?

Sorry, ADE 3.0 cannot sync books over the cloud. You have to transfer the books from one laptop to other via some storage device or through mail.

I can not create new bookmarks. New bookmarks don't show up in my bookmarks list.

i have a list of about 20 bookmarks but i can not add new bookmarks to it.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

NEW itunes don't show how many song's I have????

the older versions had so you can see how long and how much you have in ITUNES, now I have looked, anyone help me TELL me how to get this so I can see how many songs what size it is etc!

Open up the menu in the top left corner > show menu bar.
Then click view > show status bar
And there it is back at the bottom like normal

Don't show messages untill I sign in

Concerning "Thunderbird mail". When I click on thunderbird Icon, I can see my messages before I sign in.
I want my email messages not displayed till I sign in with "Master Password". How can I do that?

You do not "sign in" to Thunderbird so that is not going to happen. The master password is for protecting access to your saved passwords and nothing else.

HT4413 I migrating from my macbook to new imac. nothing showed up until I turned off the imac but everything I had done previously on the imac disappeared.

You can't. When you migrate user accounts, those settings will be used. That's the point of migrating, not to have to reset things Peruse Pondini's Setup New Mac guide for details.
If you want to revert to the original user settings, create an new admin user account. That'll use the default user setup.

I have taken all the steps to reset my tool bar so I can see the customized settings I make, but they still don't show up.

I downloaded a new version of Norton 360 on 10/28/2012 and a couple of days later, I am unable to see the buttons I added to customize my Firefox tool bar. Norton says it is a Firefox issue. I have tried resetting Firefox and reapplying the buttons on the toolbar, but they still don't show up until I click on View|Toolbars|customize. I just want to be able to to see the "Print" "Zoom" and "Home" buttons every time I open Firefox. I have Firefox version 16.0.2 which Norton told me was downloaded to my computer 2 days ago. I guess this must be done automatically, because I didn't download a new Firefox version.

You can try click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window to restore the default toolbar set up.
You can also check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.
