Download link for Oracle Database 10g Documentation seems to be broken.
Hi,
I am trying to download the documentation for Oracle Database 10g but the zip archive seems to be corrupt. The md5 checksum for the file I have downloaded is:
$> md5 Downloads/B19306_01.zip
MD5 (Downloads/B19306_01.zip) = 75551f2bb5cfeecedcd08e2e6ac71bf7
and the unzip output is:
$> unzip Downloads/B19306_01.zip
Archive: Downloads/B19306_01.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of Downloads/B19306_01.zip or
Downloads/B19306_01.zip.zip, and cannot find Downloads/B19306_01.zip.ZIP, period.
Also, the file size of my downloaded file is 443.4 MB but the size mentioned on the download page is 445.8 MB
I have twice tried to download the file but both times I get the same corrupt zip error. Can any one confirm the status of the file.

Oracle Documentation Links no longer work
I have been trying to access the Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2 Application Documentation. The Master Index., etc load fines, but when I try to open the Ad,omostratpr's Guide for Oracle Identity Directory, it returns a 404. Being persistent I have tried this over the last 4 hours and it has failed every time.
Just tried the documentation links and they still seem broken. I have just clicked on the link http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_19/idmanage.1012/b14085/toc.htm
and it returns a 404 page not found. This link is the Identity Management Integration Guide HTML -
The 'Documentation' link on my MII 12.0.4 home page fails to resolve properly. The link points to 'http://wbhelp.sap.com/manufacturing/xmii_120/{$Language}/43/E80B59AD40719AE10000000A1553F6/content.htm' but my MII account (coming from an LDAP data source) isn't providing the Language variable. When someone from our Basis group (with administrative rights and also coming from LDAP) uses the link, Language is available as 'en' and the link works properly.
What is the source of the Language variable? Why is it resolving properly with administrative rights but not developer rights?
Thanks for the help!
David MacindoeThe {$Language} in the url comes from the DynamicHomePageLibrary.xsl that builds the home page itself for the logged in user. Whatever your particular custom home page theme is would likely inclue this xsl file such as: <xsl:include href="/XMII/CM/xMIIDS/Themes/DynamicHomePageLibrary.xsl"/>
Your Language attribute is part of your profile which is the source of content used by the building process: /XMII/Illuminator?Service=SystemInfo&Mode=CurrentProfile&Content-Type=text/xml
and then gets pulled into the help url with:
<xsl:variable name="Language">
<xsl:value-of select="/Profile/@Language"/>
</xsl:variable>
You will see at the top of the xml results for the above URL: <Profile .....Language="en"...... along with other typical ones like IllumLoginName and IllumLoginRoles.
Do you not see this attribute or is it blank?
In fact, /XMII/PropertyAccessServlet?Mode=List which shows all of the name/value pairs in the session should more or less line up with the attributes in your home page profile xml.

Documentation links broken?
The Documentation link on the Database Home Page takes me to a page with links to the Oracle XE documentation.
All of those links seem to be broken.Yes - I was just about to amend my previous response. All the links from the XE documentation home page are broken.
Interestingly, the OTN site has very recently undegone it's semi-annual redesign. Based on past experience, I've found that the 'improvements' in the OTN site every 6 months often result in 1/2 the links being broken until reported.
I wonder what Oracle's policy is about partners and customers mirroring the docco?

The documentation links for Discoverer are bad (I would assume this applies to other documentation.
None of the HTML or PDF links on this page return a valid result:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/discoverer.html
They all return: "The page cannot be displayed"
Please remedy ASAP.

Oracle ConsultingJust to clarify here; software downloads (from download.oracle.com) will not work for employees during business hours but documentation will - if you remove *.oracle.com from your browsers proxy exceptions.

Documentation links missing in portal
I'm opening this thread on behalf Tiina. Please kindly help her:
We have updated documentation links in the portal. After the links have been added, they just disappear from the portal.
Best regards,
Márcio Leoni on behalf Tiina.Hi,
you have to import some libraries (in your case it is com.sap.portal.navigation.api_service_api.jar).
You can find it on the server installaton filesystem here:
\usr\sap\EXX\JC0XX\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\com.sap.portal.navigation.api_service\lib\com.sap.portal.navigation.api_service_api.jar
If you cannot find some classes to import I use this technique: I go to filesystem of the portal to the \usr\sap\EXX\JC0XX\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\ directory (using TotalCommander in my case) and let it search for desired class (in your case it is INavigationNode.class) - you have to set to search also archives (jar files are zipped classes). Now I copy this JAR to my local filesystem and add the library to the project.

Delta Setup/Link Broke After System Refresh in Sandbox with Prod
Hi All,
We have done the System Refresh for Sandbox with Production in BW. After that, we tried to load 0FI_GL_4 Delta and it failed with 'Queue 0FI_GL_4 is not available in the Source System' in Monitor. It means something went wrong in System Refresh process and the Delta setup broke. The 'Status' traffic light for 0FI_GL_4 DataSource is in RED in 'BW Delta Queue Maintenance' (RSA7) in R/3 system. When I display this Status (Red traffic light) it says 'There are still no parameters available for the delta transfer'.
Since the Delta link broke, I have deleted the 0VENDOR_ATTR Master Data DataSource in RSA7 in R/3 and Initialized the Delta in BW for this 0VENDOR_ATTR and it completed successfully and now 0VENDOR_ATTR Master Data DataSource in RSA7 in R/3 is in GREEN.
But, we have GL InfoCube which has 120 million records and if we initialize the Delta it will take atleast 7-10 days. It will take atleast 2 weeks for all the InfoCubes and ODS's.
How could we restore the Delta setup/link and the Status of the DataSources will turn into GREEN in RSA7 in R/3, PLEASE ?
Thanks in advance.Hi,
Ask your BASIS team to run BDLS. That should take care of the problem. It'll repoint the delta queues to the correct source system. With the refesh the delta DS will point to the system it was refreshed from, hence the problem.
Cheers,

Connecting two Nexus 5020 with 10G ISL link
Hi Experts,
I am trying to connect two nexus 5020 with a 10G ISL link.
Per my understanding, with new release 5.0.3 N2(2a) ISL link between two nexus switch is supported.
Following is my config
c5020-1(config)# show running-config int vfc 32
!Command: show running-config interface vfc32
!Time: Fri Dec 2 01:14:38 2011
version 5.0(3)N2(2a)
interface vfc32
bind interface Ethernet1/32
switchport mode E
switchport trunk allowed vsan 3040
no shutdown
c5020-1(config)#
c5020-1(config)# sho running-config int eth1/32
!Command: show running-config interface Ethernet1/32
!Time: Fri Dec 2 01:16:15 2011
version 5.0(3)N2(2a)
interface Ethernet1/32
switchport mode trunk
spanning-tree port type edge trunk
c5020-1(config)#
I have similar config on the other switch. But for some reason the link does not come up. vfc port keep "initializing" and Eth port stays isolated.
c5020-1(config)# sh int vfc32
vfc32 is trunking (Not all VSANs UP on the trunk)
Bound interface is Ethernet1/32
Hardware is Virtual Fibre Channel
Port WWN is 20:1f:00:0d:ec:ca:04:bf
Admin port mode is E, trunk mode is on
snmp link state traps are enabled
Port mode is TE
Port vsan is 3040
Trunk vsans (admin allowed and active) (3040)
Trunk vsans (up) ()
Trunk vsans (isolated) ()
Trunk vsans (initializing) (3040)
1 minute input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 bytes/sec, 0 frames/sec
1 minute output rate 0 bits/sec, 0 bytes/sec, 0 frames/sec
0 frames input, 0 bytes
0 discards, 0 errors
0 frames output, 0 bytes
0 discards, 0 errors
last clearing of "show interface" counters never
Interface last changed at Fri Dec 2 01:17:28 2011
c5020-1(config)#
c5020-1(config)# sh int eth1/32 fcoe
Ethernet1/32 is FCoE Isolated
c5020-1(config)#
If any expert throw some light to make me understand things better will be helpful.i have not connected two Nexus before but looking at your eth 1/32 interfaces ..do you think it needs to be "
switchport trunk allowed vlan" your "FCOE" VLAN ? -
