11.0.10 Update Issue -  Problem saving documents - getting message "This document could not be saved.  There was a problem reading this document (21)."  The PDF documents are being created by Esker VSIFax and the problem is only occuring with updated vers

Our IBM Unix system uses a program called VSIFax (Esker) to create PDF documents such as invoices.  Users that have updated to Acrobat version 11.0.10 can open the PDF but then when trying to save the document the get a message "This document could not be saved.  There was a problem reading this document (21)."  The problem is only occuring with updated version 11.0.10 (11.0.9 works fine).

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially. 
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

    Select the “Automatically upload content to iCloud” checkbox.

    I am unable to login in desktop nokia suite 3.8.48 version.
    i am using Windows XP OS, Nokia Suite Version 3.8.48.
    When i try to login to the Nokia Suite , it throws error message saying unable to connect to server.
    Error Message throws as
    "could not sign in, there was a problem with connecting to your nokia account."
    Similarly on trying to connect to create new account via Nokia suite , it says as "Could not connect to server.
    But i am able to login to my nokia account using the webversion with my user name.

    About your Lumia phone: You are aware, you cannot use the Nokia Suite with your Lumia phone. Furthermore, that issue has another cause for sure. Therefore, please, provide the error message/code presented in your Lumia word for word. Is this related?

    I just started receiving this error message on one song. "the document.....could not be saved"
    If I closed down everything and restarted i could then save the project. Now it won't even do that and it has spread to another song/project, with even more messages (Minor Problem in Data, Score Style Fixed, Error-Csong::CreateSeq-Illegal Block Size) the prject then opens up but there are no regions or tracks in the arrange window. These projects are very basic audio files (WAV) and few plug-ins, basic rock and roll songs.
    These projects are being run at 96. I never received this info on projects at 44.1 or 48. All of your suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, jdf

    Whenever I had that error message (in Logic 32bit mode) it was a virtual memory issue. I seemed that memory was so tied that moment that it didn't have the necessary bits to perform the save process. When I tried to free up memory by closing all but one window or unload some plugins the save process went through.
    Just make sure to write down the plugins that you unloaded so you can reload them when open up the project.
    Quick Tip:
    Always have the Activity Monitor open and keep an eye on the available memory space. If you do a lot of loading and unloading of sounds, Logic's memory and the available memory on your machine in general gets very fragmented because OSX keeps stuff in RAM just in case (Inactive Memory). Restart the machine once in a while to flush out all those leftovers.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

    That doesn't sound right. It sounds as though you are trying to create a new ID, which of course you shouldn't be doing if you are trying to restore from a previous back up.

    I don' t understand what is the problem, I work with FCP 6.0 and Quicktime 7.4.1 very well until today, when I tray to capture from DV devices ( note that the capture window says PREVIEW DISABLED , but I can remote the camera, mark tc in , out FFW REW etc, message VTR IS OK) The capture is aborted with this message THIS OPERATION COULD NOT COMPLETED AS THERE IS NO VIDEO, when I tray to capture from JVC PRO HD there is no problem. ANY IDEAS????? I'm not work whit another FCP version because with other version there is a problem with JVC PRO HD DEVICES . I note that I'm not the only one with this problem, another curiosity is that at this mooring I capture a tape without a problem but with the second tape start the problem when I thread the tape. Who is possible that the problems are like a miscellanies problem. In the system profile the Camera and vcr dv appears connected to the mac. The fire wire is ok.

    Hi of course I use the correct easy setup,Ii tray with different cameras, vcr's, vtr's, dv , Dvcam, I tray with different fire wire etc. Note that "IMOVIE" capture material without problem, same tape, this problem is affected to other people, included me , but for week i no have this problem with FCP 6.0 and Quicktime 7.4.1 this problem starting to day in the middle of the batch capture, the first tape was captured , but in the second tape start the message, WAITING FOR TIME CODE, THE DEVICE MUST SET IN VTR MODE, of course that this two things are ok, and appears then message "This operation could not completed as there's no video" Note that quicktime pro is unable to capture material from DV device too. Imovie work OK with the same camera and vtr and the same tape. The problem is quicktime and FCP.

  • HT204150 iCloud contacts, they won't save.   I get a message stating that "Your changes to this contact could not be saved because of server error".   What can I do?

    Some of my edits of contacts in the iCloud contacts will not save.   Instead, I get the message that "Your changes to this contact could not be saved because of a server error".   Other, similar, edits are saving and synching to other Apple devices.

    Jeffeighmy - I had this same problem last week.  I think it is an iCould issue. It resolved itself.  Just frustrating.  I had reinstalled iCloud Control Panel and it would not let me save contacts or calendars.  Then it just happened after a couple of days of trying.  My contacts on my iphone are now duplicated, not in Outlook.  Then when I delete one on the iphone it deletes it up through icloud and my pc so I loose that contact.  Go figure.

    Did you try what was suggested on that page i.e. disconnecting the iPad from your computer and turning the iPad off (press and hold the sleep/wake button until the red 'slide to power off' appears on screen and slide that) and then back on ?
    And if the backup doesn't work after that then try a soft-reset instead of the off and on : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
