User logs in. All resps (responsibilities) are displayed. Clicks on 'System Administrator' responsibility. Chooses 'Security/Define' , User define form pops up.
Queries his own id. Adds a new resp OR end_dates a resp. Clicks on "Navigotor" button on top of the form. He finds his actions (adding or removing resp) were taken care. He closes all form screens. Comes back to homepage (jsp version, main page). Clicks on refresh button of Internet explorer. Changes are not affected. Still he can see old resps. He logs out. Logs in. No use. Still he finds those changes did not take palce. ADDED TO THIS, FOR SOME USERS, 'SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR' resp is gone.
BUT, if you login as "/f60cgi/dev60cgibin" , everything is fine. You can see expected changes taken place.
In short, users resps are missing when one adds or removes resp.
Any thoughts? Replies are highly appreciated.

Hi,
Unfortunately all the source files can be deleted after clone.
If files were not deleted, then you can go to $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/clone/data/stage and check the source system name in the file addbhomsrc.xml.
If all the relevant files are deleted, i do not think oracle maintains list of all previous clone. But you could look for LOGFILE_NODE_NAME,OUTFILE_NODE_NAME columns in FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS.

Responsibilities not visible to user after cloning instance from Production

Hi,
In my environment, one of the user is disabled in Production, but he has access in DEV instance. When i clone production onto DEV instance and enable this user, he is not able to see the responisbilities which he is suppose to see.
I ran the "Synchronize WF LOCAL tables', but still the user is not able to see the responsibility.
Am i missing anything?

Instance missing in BPEL console

Hi,
I have a process say "THIRD", it has database adapters and exception handling for each scope as well. In the case of any exception in "THIRD", the process calls the another process say "EMAIL" which is only meant for e-mail notification.
Now the situation:
When sometimes the process name "THIRD" is invoked from client(Oracle Apps/BES) first time in the morning and if any of the DB adapter throws exception, the instance of "EMAIL" is created and send the mail too. But if we try to find out the instance of "THIRD" which cause the problem is missing in BPEL Console.
Moreover, it happens only first time in the morning and doesn't happen everyday.

restart OC4J. Check also BPEL domain parameter syncMaxWaitTime (From BPEL Console-> Manage BPEL Domain). syncMaxWaitTime should be less than transaction-config timeout. Otherwise it is not working properly.

CAL Instance missing all the times I login (region EU)

I've created the instance and all seemed fine.
I suspended and logged off.
I logged in again and the instance was missing. Created again, logged out automatically by the system after some time. Logged again and the instance is missing again !!!
Any idea why ?

Cloning instance = /apex wants login

I have cloned the default XE instance on the same machine using the following instructions:

Right now I have a working second instance called XETEST.
I can access it via the listener, via sqlnet on port 1521 and http on port 8080. Webdav access works, too.
But when I use http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex, it always prompts me for username/password for the realm XDB.
Creating a new dad to access a specific procedure in the schema HR works fine.
What could cause the login prompt on /apex?
Even creating a new DAD called apex2 didn't work (i have taken the same parameters as the initial APEX dad):

No. FLOWS_020100 is the schema where all APEX
database objects are stored and should be used to log
on to the database for regular APEX usage. The DAD
parameter "database-username" should be set to
ANONYMOUS.I know, I was just trying to narrow down the problem.
After setting a new password on ANONYMOUS and switching the database-username back to ANONYMOUS it worked, too. But I still had to enter the credentials for the ANONYMOUS user in the popup-window again (once per browser session).
It seems like the procedure "apex" is not called directly but the XML DB wants to authenticate the user first. Setting dbms_epg.set_global_attribute('log-level', 7); didn't give me any information.
It seems like something is not right with ANONYMOUS.
Can you run the following SQL statement and see what
status the database user is in?I checked that and unlocked the account previously, too.
Here is the status:

Central Service Instance missing after Additional App server was installed

Hi Experts
I had installed SAP Netweaver CE7.1 system in 2 machines as distributed system.
I did installation as follow:
1. Install MSSQL server native access client in machine 1
2. Install DB server in machine 2
3. Install SCS in machine 1
4. Install DB instance in machine 2
5. Install PAS in machine 1
The installation had been fine. I had checked by confirming at the MMC. In machine 1, I could see SCS, PAS and DB running. I had also logged on into portal and NWA.
Then I installed Additional App server in machine 2.
Howerver, in the end of the installation it said that the installation has been stopped.
Later when I see the MMC, I found that I could see DB, PAS and AAS only. SCS was missing and
the system could not start.
I am very much looking forward to hearing from you what went wrong during the installation of AAS.
The log generated in the sapinst.log is really long. I got server error when I put the log data in this message. I can send it through mail if need be.

SCCM Report Services Instance missing

Hi,
Been trying to troubleshoot this for a day and had already done the following:

I'm not sure what I am missing but regardless after restarting countless times and troubleshooting, I still can't get the reporting services setup on our SCCM 2012 server. The database is SQL 2012 SP1. Both are on a different VM instance. I'm getting a blank
value on the Reporting point server instance.
The good part is I can get the website working but getting the reports via web by opening it on the reports services manager on the SQL server. Other than that, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Any suggestion?

How to clean Concurrent Managers Nodes on Cloned instances.

Hi,
We have PCP on PROD environment, when we do cloning to test instances, after running exec FIND_CONC_CLONES on test instances , TEST instance concurrent managers nodes are still pointing to PROD CM nodes, Please let me know how to change to test concurrent manager nodes, I know we can do it manually its all time taken process to change all managers one by one.

Multiple OC4J instances missing in the Enterprise Manager for a cluster

We have a cluster of 4 OAS instances installed on two Solaris 10 servers. When I login to the Oracle Enterprise Manager, I see only the Administration OC4J Instance. We had this issue earlier but it resolved by itself but this time the issue has been there for quite few days now. Need some help.

As I told you, this is a normal behavior, so there is no workarround, because it has to work fine later, but if you dont see any change tell me...
How did you configure your Cluster?
in a command line window, run the following in any of the node of your cluster
opmnctl @cluster status
it have to list all your components, this has to work on any of the nodes.
Also in the opmn.xml check the tags for <topology> in the firsts lines, if you dont have this in the secondary nodes then the cluster may not be working.

SQL Server 2012 Reporting Server Default USER group instance missing

We have installed SQL Server Reporting Services 2012 on Windows 2012 Server and we can’t see any SSRS default group on windows server group list say something like (SQLServerReportServerUser$TestServer$MSRS11_50.MSSQLSERVER)
created as part of the installation
we are migrating SQL Server 2008 R2 to SQL Server 2012, we were able to see default group for Reporting Server has been created in the earlier versions like SQLServerReportServerUser$TestServer$MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER
Can you please assist whether we are missing anything in the SQL Server 2012 installation, this needs to be fixed as part of Report server user authentication

INSTANCE MISSING IN SAPMMC

Hi to all
Please, help me with the following issue:
I have two intsnces: 02 y 03, which one I view in SAPMMC.
By a software installation, I have that restart the server, but, when I start the SAP services,.... surprise !!: Don't appear my 03 instance, and this is my main instance ,...
I have review all the log, the services,.. but i don't know why this instance don't appear in SAPMMC, and the server is down,.
Please, help me with this problem

Hi, I have a similar problem. I tried to connect to SAP Server from my PC and I couldn't do it, I went to the server and it was restarted (maybe a power failure). I opened the MMC and 2 of my instances had disappeared (of 3 instances).
When windows 2003 server starts it shows the next message:
At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details.
I opened the services and looked for the sap services, one was stopped SAPR36_00 then I tried to start it and the following message appears:
Could not start the SAPR36_00 service on Local Computer.
Error 5: Access is denied.
I have read the SAP Notes 82751 and 142100. I checked both share folders permissions SAPMNT or SAPLOC. I also checked the that the SAPSTARTSRV.EXE has the permissions of the user that start the service.
I did what Arun VK says but when I run SAPSTART.EXE, it doesn't show anything. I also check the dll files and i didn't find librfc32.dll in my server.
Someone can help me with this problem I would really appreciate it.

My FSG report drill down redirectly to PROD url in the cloned instance

I found out a simple drop-down list referencing to a conditional MEMBERSET cell (if a then level4 else level 5) works pretty well.
I do have two questions though:
1. For LDEP or LALL, it puts the parents on top of the children. Is there anyway to display the children nodes first before their parents? For instance:
LDEP (2, TOTALFOOTWEAR) gives me:

Men's Running (LEVEL2)
Women's Running (LEVEL2)
WALKING (LEVEL1)

Central Services instance Missing

Hi,
We are installing XI 3.0
We have applied till the Kernel Patch successfully. After that...
The SAP_<SID>_01 service is not starting. As a result of which we could not find the Central services instance in the MMC.
What could be the reason for it?
Ayone who has faced the same do let me know as to how to solve it.

Hi Siva,
First of all this situation is not only because of kernel upgrade.
I have not even applied kerenel patches. I have resterted the server machine, when my VA and IR and RWB got hang. After logging into SAPMMC i see only SAP<sid>_00 service is running . After that when i restarted my machine again and installed my sap frontend freshly, then the same service is running perfectly.
I can understand you must be going through different scanerio, but i just thought of sharing my exp. to you.
