110v ou 220v ???

queria saber como descubro qual é a voltagem do meu apple tv

It has a 6-watt built in universal power supply, meaning it works everywhere...110V, 220V...all you need is a proper plug adaptor.

Thanks, I saw that number in the charger, but what I meant Is what is the volatge in the equipment (the ipadmini) itself? because if the equipments only accept/ built for 110v can be charged with 220v. Indonesia all the voltge using 220v

  • 110v and 220v?

We're getting ready to buy our new iMacs, which we'll buy here, but we thought of buying the Airport Extreme in the US next month while we're there (it's cheaper).
Does it automatically switch from 110v to 220v or do we have to buy it here? (Israel)
    Thanks!

The previous post was wrong about the voltage . The power unit for the stations sold in the US are in fact 110-250v. In the US the cable has a US plug but all you need do is cut it off and replace with a plug that works in your 240 v country or use an adaptor.
I have done this with a US bought station now used in the UK.
I can't comment on the channel issue but voltage is no problem - I think that is now true for all Apple products as I also have a US bought Apple TV that works fine on 240v with a new plug
With the weak dollar they are a good buy !!!

  • What adaptor should I buy for AC power cord to convert 110v to 220v service

Travelling with my MacBook Pro from USA where AC is 110v.   How can I recharge battery in countries with 220v AC service>?

Plug it into a power outlet, the same way you do in the States. All you need is a plug adapter to allow your plug end to fit the wall outlet.

Hi wayne, welcome to the forums,
there will be a section on this, or at least half a page, in the user guide.  If there is no physical 110v - 230v switch on the power supply unit it will be autosensing (as the H520s was).

  • 110v or 220v? Which Gives Quality Electricity, Run Cooler Better?

Hi. The iMac having a maximum wattage of 350w, would it be better to plug it in a 110v outlet or a 220v outlet. Which outlet has cleaner electricity/less noise and which will make the iMac work better, last longer or operate better. Which will save money? I heard 220v is better for hight powered gadgets and appliances, at 350w, is this iMac a high powered or a low powered machine? Thank you in advance.
    Gbu.

120v is the normal house voltage in the US and 220v is the normal house voltage in the UK.  I can't imagine that Macs in the US vs Macs in the UK last longer based on these values.

  • 110V vs 220v for Time Capsule?

I bought my Time Capsule in USA, now I am in europe, do I need to get a transformer for 220V to 110 V or just change the power cord?

You just need a plug adaptor.

  • Guys, I'll be receiving a MacBook Pro bought in the US as a gift. I'm from UK, will the voltage difference (110v to 220v) and warranty/insurance coverage be an issue? Any other issues to face?

    Thanks guys...

Normally the voltage difference is not a problem because the charger can handle both.
I am not sure about the adapter plug: the wall sockets in UK and USA may be different, use a simple (earthed!) adapter for that if necessary.
The rest should be the same, although two keys on the keyboard might be different (@ is shift-2, try to find the other...).
    gratulations with your gift,

  • IPod Hi-Fi POWER INPUT : 110V to 220V ?

Hello, I move a lot between Europe and USA. Does the Apple Hi-Fi accept both 110 and 220 ? I understand I would need a plug adapter but I do not want to have to use a transformer. Thanks for your help.

Can I use the iPod Hi-Fi while traveling?
The iPod Hi-Fi has an auto-switching power supply. Because of this it can accept a range in both voltage and frequency, and only require a plug adapter for the specific locale. It supports 100 V to 240 V, 50 Hz to 60 Hz.

  • Converting 110v to 220v

I am taking my 2605DN laserjet to Singapore from US. However, I can not find the voltage switch on the printer. Can any one help me figure out an easy way to convert the voltage (instead of buy the voltage transformer).
    Thank you,
    James

Toshiba power adapters will handle both. No problem.

  • 110v to 220v imac

Can I use an imac bought in America in Australia without a transformer?

Yes. You will need a wall outlet plug adaptor that you should be able to buy in Australia or at most AAA travel shops.

    3.
    HP LaserJet P2055d Printer (CE457A) -
All of them three operates on 110v USA.  but i need them to use in 220V . Can anyone recommend me any good Voltage converter ?

    Hi,
Before go out to buy a converter/transformer  (you need over 2KW for all 3 of them), please check the switches at the back, they may have switches to switch from 110V to 220V. I don't know your market, my suggestion: talk with an electrician who knows the real world much better.

  • Convert 2320 MFP printer from 220v to 110v

I have some HP2320 mfp printers that were mistakenly ordered to operate on 220 volts. How can I convert them to operate on 110 volts? Is it only the power supply that must be changed to accomplish this? If so, I have some defective 2320s that I could take the power supply out of.
I could use a step up transformer but prefer not to take that route.

I do not see a listing for the poser supply, but the fuser has different versions for the 110V and 220V versions.  See the HP parts site and search for the laserjet 2320.

  • 110V vs. 220V, which is better?

I'm going to be living for the next several months where I can use either 110V or 220V power. I know the charger is dual voltage, and I can use it with either voltage with a simple plug adapter. My question is, which is preferable? Will the battery charge twice as fast at 220V? Will using 220V create other issues like excessive heat in the charger or laptop? Any other reasons I'm not thinking of? I know the simple Watts = Volts x Amps, but I think that's more for DC current, and I suspect there are other more complex issues with how the charger handles voltage. Since I am not an electrical engineer I'm not really sure how it works. Thanks!

    Dear Lee,
As I live in Europe, I can share some additional advice: I'm running the MBP here on the standard 230 V without any problems; given the fact that it's the same model you get in the US (power supply wise, of course keyboards differ), there shouldn't be ANY issues.
With regards to leakage current, they should be within safety limits either way and - as usual - the voltage does not say anything about it, it is a question of total power; you can find some interesting reading here: http://books.google.com/books?id=h1YDVXADtiQC&pg=PA365&lpg=PA365&dq=IEC364Art.707.471.3.3.1&source=web&ots=6qb9-F0HLF&sig=fLlCqM9pU48pXc6WRWQ0SF8A8Wk&hl=e n&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=1&ct=result#PPA365,M1)
    Best regards,
    Michael
P.S.: When you're there, you can just meter the leakage between case an Earth in either case...
