11g BPEL:failure during dehydration when having transformation with 2 input

I'm working on 11g SOA
Has anyone ever seen this problem?. Not every but lots of BPEL process; if I have transformation box that takes in 2 inputs. When I kick off the process, I won't be able to track it in the console, and I found this message printed out on the server unix console.
ORABPEL-05002
error while attempting to process the message "com.collaxa.cube.engine.dispatch.messge.invoke.InvokeInstanceMessage"; the reported exception is: Cannot save xml element. failure to save the element {http://www.example.com/MiddleWare}anytype during dehydration
This element was not a root element and the scope had reference to this element. The scope should have references only to the root element.
I'm not quite understand what does the bold line mean.
Appreciate any help / suggestion .

Have designed the transformation(XSL) using JDEV or handcrafted? What do you mean by 2 inputs, can you be more specific with simple example.

  • How to get higher cpu voltage during load when using "auto" with P67A-GD55?

    I have a little question regarding cpu voltage: When i set vcore to "auto" i get a nice low voltage when idle but during load i only get 1.264 max and that is to low.
    Is there a setting to increase the voltage during load and still have the cpu vcore set to auto?
    Thanks

    OK, so you are able to set your CPU voltage manually. You need to consider that the auto voltages will compensate only up to a certain OC level, after which the user usually has to do manual adjustments. This auto compensation differs for each hardware combination. As HU16E suggested, try low VDroop and see if it helps. The other alternative is a BIOS flash, or manual voltage settings.
    I tried low vdroop but it didn´t make any difference. But it´s ok, i can set the vcore manually but i was just investigating if i could get the best of both worlds with the powersavings auto vcore offers during idle

    Please advise what went wrong ?

    Hi,
    ROCANCEL field is indicates the status of record
    i.e Indicator: cancellation record
    This will be mapped to 0RECORDMODE infoobject. that field is necessary for DSO to identify the status of records(cancellation/deletions/changed/new record).

  • Transport Error when including Transformations with Formulas

    I am attempting to transport a transformation that includes formulas.  I am getting an ASSERTION_FAILED short dump and my transport stops with an Error Code = 12.  Transformations without formulas or with routines seem to go ok.
    Here is a piece of the short dump:

    We had to log an OSS Message with SAP to get this fixed.  Somewhere in the development of the transformation, the rules with the formula got corrupted, even though it did not appear to be corrupted from the front-end.
    Here is the text from the OSS Message:
    The problem is that the yuo defined 2 formulas for this
    transformation but in table RSTRANSTEPROUT there are 3 active
    entries. RULEID 4 is wrong, because this ruleid
    is not avialable in table RSTRANFIELD and RSTRANRULE. To delete
    an inconsistent ruleid you can use the procedure which is
    described in note 983036.
    Once we cleaned this up, the transformation transported successfully.
    Hope this helps!

  • Track pegs when in record with no input assigned

    This is happened to me twice. I'm a new Mac and Garageband user. Twice when I have opened an existing project in Garageband the meter pegs on all the tracks when the track record button is on. There is no input assigned to them...may be a dumb simple thing, but I can't find how to pull it down...the volumes are all turned down....If I restart the computer and go back in, it usually fixes it, but there has to be something I'm doing wrong...oh, I'm using an MBOX 2.

    So when you go to GB Prefs, Audio/MIDI the input selected is the MBox, not the built-in mic? And there's nothing connected to your MBox? And you still get meter levels showing input?

  • Trying to add new elemwent to BPEL, and it is now having binding error

    I have a BPEL service that calls a PL SQL procedure. I have added a new element to the BPEL called quote_cart_line.
    All I had to the BPEL to accomplish this was edit 3 files -
    Async_Invoke_Import_Model.xsd (Source)
    <element name="orig_sys_line_ref" type="integer" minOccurs="1" nillable="true"/>
           <element name="quote_cart_line" minOccurs="1" nillable="true" type="integer"/>
          </sequence>
    .....APPS_NI_MODEL_IMPORT_UTIL_IMPORT_SELECTIONS.xsd (Target)
    <element name="ORIG_SYS_LINE_REF" type="decimal" db:type="NUMBER" minOccurs="0" nillable="true"/>
             <element name="QUOTE_CART_LINE" type="decimal" db:type="NUMBER" minOccurs="0" nillable="true"/>
          </sequence>
    .....Transform_NIE_Inputs.xsl (Transforming from Source to Target)
    <ns1:orig_sys_line_ref>
              <xsl:value-of select="/ns1:Async_Invoke_Import_ModelProcessRequest/ns1:import_line/ns1:orig_sys_line_ref"/>
            </ns1:orig_sys_line_ref>
            <ns1:quote_cart_line>
              <xsl:value-of select="/ns1:Async_Invoke_Import_ModelProcessRequest/ns1:import_line/ns1:quote_cart_line"/>
            </ns1:quote_cart_line>
          </ns1:import_line>
    .....I have done this to two other BPELs and they work fine. (1st BPEL calls the second BPEL passing this new element, which then passes it to this BPEL I am having trouble with, which then should be binding it to a PL SQL type)
    So this BPEL calls a PL SQL procedure, binding the elements from the BPEL to a PL SQL type (ni_model_import_line). So I edited the PL SQL type to accept this new parameter:
    orig_sys_header_ref       NUMBER,
           quote_cart_line           NUMBER,
           CONSTRUCTOR FUNCTION ni_model_import_line(p_part_number                IN VARCHAR2,
    MEMBER PROCEDURE add_orig_sys_header_ref(p_org_sys_header_ref          IN NUMBER),
           MEMBER PROCEDURE add_quote_cart_line(p_quote_cart_line                 IN NUMBER)
    MEMBER PROCEDURE add_quote_cart_line(p_quote_cart_line                 IN NUMBER) IS
    BEGIN
       quote_cart_line := p_quote_cart_line;
    END add_quote_cart_line;
    END;
    .....I invoke all of this, and the new element gets populated in 3 different BPELs, including this one I explained here. But when it comes time to call the PL SQL I am now getting an error:

    </fault>This doesnt happen if I remove the references to this new element and try again, so it obviously is a problem with the element, but I have no idea what it is. It works fine when going from BPEL to BPEL, but as soon as the process tries to call the PL SQL procedure this happens. It is even more frustrating because I have done this exactly before adding another element, and it worked fine...
    Any ideas or tips please?

    So is there any further info I can provide or anything like that? I am still no closer to solving this it appears...
    This makes no sense to me. I have edited these BPELs in this manner twice before and never had problems.
    I have 3 bpels. I added the new element to each of them.
    BPEL1 - calls some PL SQL and also passess the elements to the next BPEL (BPEL2)
    BPEL2 - passes the elements to BPEL 3
    BPEL3 - Calls PL SQL in exactly the same way as BPEL1
    however, where BPEL 1 is functioning fine, BPEL3 is resulting in the error above. So frustrating, because BPEL3 works exactly like BPEL1, there is no reason it shouldn't be working. The elements are the same order as the PL SQL type and procedure it is mapping to, so that isn't the problem

  • Error in BPM: "COMMUNICATION FAILURE" during JCo call. Error opening an RFC

    hello experts
    i am receiving the above error incase of BPM scenario where i am having a Transform step and synchronous RFC step.
    i referred to the few threads discussing such problems and was trying to find whether my mapping is correct and i tested my mappings using my payload which looks good.
    When looked into the Mapping trace of the BPM "Show container" i found error ""COMMUNICATION FAILURE" during JCo call. Error opening an RFC connection" and it seems that when BPM is attempting to call interface mapping it is throwing this error.
    Thanks in advance.

    rajeev

    hi,
    I think no problen with the mapping part,
    jco connection requird when xi try to stablish the connection with the adapter .
    please look the link provided.
    Setup and test SAP Java Connector outbound connection
    please also check the following parameter at the exchange profile
    com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost
    com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.client
    com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.sysnr
    com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport
    these parameter must be given properly.
    if every thing is ok than and problem still exist than try to restart the system.
    for us after restarting its worked fine.

  • Oracle SOA Suite 11g (BPEL Process) Dependency with Database

    Folks,
    Oracle SOA Suite 11g requires a relational DB like Oracle, SQL Server to maintain the Metadata for the SOA & Related Components.
    Can you plz let me know with your experience - what should happen to a running BPEL Process if the database (SOAINFRA) is down? Being very specific -
    1, Does/Should end-point become inaccessible? Or Does service remains accessible but throws service remote-fault execption?
    2, What happens to a process which is in running state?
    My experience in these scenarios is not encouraging; we have notices the following -- during the time when our SOAINFRA database is down, the in-process (running) instances are left in a running state. These instances do not complete or move forward even when the Database is back. These instances do not provide any information in the Enterprise Manager.
    Also, if DB is down WSDL's are still accesssible, is this right way?
    If this is how SOA does work then I would doubt for its merit……...your thought plz????
    Thanks & Regards
    Shyam Kumar

    I am not posting here because I'm smart but because your questions look interesting.
    during the time when our SOAINFRA database is down, the in-process (running) instances are left in a running stateYou know that BPEL is a state-full product and it needs database support for persisting the process of state so if database goes down it is an expected behavior that processes may stuck in the same state where they were when DB went down. I don't see anything wrong with it.
    These instances do not complete or move forward even when the Database is back.Instances should auto/manually recoverable. If this is not the case then you may raise a SR with support.
    These instances do not provide any information in the Enterprise Manager. What information you could not find? Can you be more clear on this?
    Also, if DB is down WSDL's are still accesssible, is this right way?Yes, again it's expected because design time data also gets stored in DB only and hence if DB goes down, any design time data may not be accessible.
    If this is how SOA does work then I would doubt for its merit……...your thought plz????Why so? Alternative of DB is physical memory and that I don't think is perfect for long running BPEL processes and their heavy design time data. Moreover, it will create problems in terms of auditing, support and maintenance. If your requirement is such that it does not need any long running BPEL processes and even auditing is not required and use case is simple routing and transformation with no DB dependency then you may go for OSB which is a stateless product. BPEL is generally used for long running processes and hence DB is the best option, in my opinion at least.

  • Java Embedding bug in SOA Suite 11g BPEL??

    I am beginning to wonder if there is a 'bug' in the SOA Suite 11g, BPEL, Java Embedding activity? Need some help as soon as possible – does the Java Embedding activity work in SOA Suite 11g?
    Have tried the following on Jdev 11.1.1.1 and Jdev 11.1.1.3 – get the same error message (see below for error message).
    Thanks for any help - Casey
    I created a simple composite app by:
    1.     Created a Composite with BPEL Process
    2.     Created a BPEL variable by the name of Variable and a Simple Type of string      ({http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}string)
    3.     Added an Assign activity (Assign_1) and assigned the value of “Test Var” to the variable Variable using a Copy operation.
    4.     Then, after the assign activity, added a Java Embedding activity (Java_Embedding_1) with Java Version set to 1.5 and the following code:
    +try{+*
    String var;*
    var=(String)getVariableData(Variable);*
    System.out.println(var);*
    +}  // end try+
    +catch(Exception ex){+*
    System.out.println(ex.getMessage());*
    +}// end catch+
    Compiled and got the following error message:
    Error(23,34): Failed to compile bpel generated classes.*
    failure to compile the generated BPEL classes for BPEL process "BPELProcess1" of composite "default/Project1!1.0"*

    Java Embedding bug in SOA Suite 11g BPEL??

  • Power failure during installation

    This isn't a question, but a cheer. While installing Yosemite on my Mac Mini, the power went out at my house. Those of us old enough can remember the warnings that used to be attached to system installs---DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER DURING INSTALLATION! So you can imagine how anxious I was when the transformer outside went thump and the lights (and my computer) all turned off, with one minute remaining in the install.
    When the lights came on again, I turned on the computer and waited to see what would happen. The Mini just backed up to the last stage it had completed of the installation (23 minutes remaining) and went on from there with a flawless install. Good on ye, Apple engineers!

    Hello! A power failure during a sustained read/write operation such as an update will usually screw up the hard drive directory big time. Your best bet short of high dollar data rescue services is probably to get a cd/dvd that is bootable and try to repair the disk and get it to mount so you can retrieve your data. I always recommend a bootable clone for instances like this and also highly recommend DiskWarrior to repair directory damage. A power failure during an OS update likely damages the OS as well as the hard drive directory. Tom

  • CTC v5.0 - Error: Failure during IOR Repository Initilization

    I am currently running the following:
    Win 2000 Pro
    IE 6.0
    Java 1.4.2_08-b03
    When I start the CTC initilization after the .jre files have downloaded I get the following error message: Error: Failure during IOR Repository Initilization
    I have uninstalled all previous versions of Java on the machine and am only running 1.4.2.
    I have also deleted the CTC Cache, cookies and offline files before I run CTC.
    I have been using CTC for the past 4 years with various versions of CTC software and have yet to get this message.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Jon

    Jon,
    Possible Cause: The CTC cache file might be corrupted or might need to be replaced.
    1. Delete any and all Java that you having running at this time.
    2. Delete the CTC Cache File Manually
    To delete the JAR files manually, from the Windows Start menu choose Search > For Files or Folders.
    Enter ctc*.jar or cms*.jar in the Search for files or folders named field in the Search Results dialog box and click Search Now.
    Click the Modified column in the Search Results dialog box to find the JAR files that match the date when you downloaded the files from the TCC2/TCC2P.
    Highlight the files and press the keyboard Delete key.
    Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.
    3. Reload Java. You should load 1.4.2_03
    http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.2_03/index.html
    4. Use a standard ping command to verify the TCP/IP connection between the PC and the ONS 15454 TCC2/TCC2P card
    If the workstation has connectivity to the ONS 15454, the ping is successful and displays a reply from the IP address. If the workstation does not have connectivity, a "Request timed out" message appears.
    If the ping is successful, an active TCP/IP connection exists. Restart CTC.
    If the ping is not successful, and the workstation connects to the ONS 15454 through a LAN, check that the workstation's IP address is on the same subnet as the ONS node.
    If the ping is not successful and the workstation connects directly to the ONS 15454, check that the link light on the workstation's NIC is illuminated.
    5. The last thing I would try is pulling one of the TCC cards and then try to login.

  • G5 Power failure during start up and wake

    I have an early G5 20" non-iSight iMac that has a power problem that is steadily getting worse.
    As Apple support has expired and can't be extended, I'm at a loss how to resolve this.
    Description.
    The problem first started as intermittent during wake up from sleep (power light pulsing). I'd move the mouse or tap the keyboard to wake the iMac and I'd hear the disk just start to spin up followed by a sharp 'pop/click' like the power cord had been pulled, and it would be powered off needing the power button to be pressed to restart from scratch.
    Now the problem has worsened in that occasionally I will find the iMac has completely powered down during sleep. When I restart it can take up to 6 or more attempts to get to the point where I can use it. There's a sequence of restarts needed, each starting from pushing the power button, and then ending during the starting sequence with a 'pop/click' as the power suddenly shuts off. Each time the start up will progress a little further than the previous attempt until eventually it finishes building the desk top after login and I can operate normally until the next time I find it powered off after a few hours of non-use. The power failure starts initially from just after the welcome chime, and progresses to maybe 5 or 6 times later to during the desk top build after log-in. However, once logged in and operating the iMac behaves as normal, switching users, log-out and login, screen save and wake from screen save etc are all as I'd expect. I've not (yet at least) had any sudden power failures during normal operation.
    The serial number of the iMac falls within the Sept 05 Repair Extension Program serial number range (not EMC 2056 though), but when I spoke to Apple Support they said that the lack of random behaviour meant that the problem I'm having is not related and so would not be covered by this program.
    So I'm kinda stuck with a problem that is annoying when it occurs, which is daily at the moment, although it's been this bad a few weeks back and then was fine (iMac left switched on for 2 to 3 weeks without a problem) until we had a power cut earlier this week, and it's started again.
    I've searched through the forums and while I could find plenty of references to 'Sudden Power Loss' none seemed to be as predictable and similar to this one.
    Suggestions and ideas welcome. Thanks.

    i am having a similiar issue. I have the same exact computer (iMac G5, non-isight) and it stays on for 30 mins, hour, 3 hours and shuts off. Upon starting up, sometimes it doesn't make it to the login screen before shutting down again. I have downloaded heat temp monitor programs and it seems to get to about 70 degrees celcius sometimes. Upon restarting, I get the "report problem to apple" screen with this information. I have tried to restart the power supply too.

    Help. I was in the middle of loading a system update when I shut the power off.
    You mean you forced the computer off with the power button?
    When you say the middle of loading a system update, what do you mean? Downloading it, installing it??
    Now my MacBook Pro does not boot and only has an error message when I power up. I have read some forum topics on downloading a stand alone installer to fix and another on using my leopard install disk\utilities to "restore from time machine".
    You need to boot into the Leopard DVD by inserting the DVD, rebooting and holding down the "C" key. After the language screen, in the menu, top left, under Utilities, run disk utility and repair HD and permissions.
    That's the first step.
    If that does not work, boot into the safe mode by holding down the shift key on boot. If you get to the login screen, you are probably in good shape - just click restart and let the system reboot normally.
