12.1.3 Maintenence pack

Hi,
I downloaded the 12.1.3 maintainence pack. While unzipping i am seeing errors like , "bad CRX XXXXXX (should by YYYYYY)" few files in all the 6parts of the patch. Does it mean the files are corrupted.
Do i need to download everything again?..
I did md5sum for all the zip files, they are not matching.??

Sadly it sounds like your download is incomplete. 99% of the time the partial download can be resumed though.
You can avoid re-downloading the complete file by resuming it with wget.
You can refer to this thread for more info.

The basic steps are
1) Install cookie exporter

2) Log into the web site that you are downloading from
3) Export cookies
4) Copy cookies to machine where you can run wget
5) Right-click on the file that you want to download and copy the URL
6) Use a command similar to this (it has been a long time since I used this command and I can't remember if this is the exact syntax)
wget –load-cookies=cookies.txt http://URL-from-step-5
(this command assumes that cookies.txt is on your current directory)

SLES support for NSS in support pack 1?

I was just told by Novell presales that SLES SP1 adds nss support to SLES.
I told them we had LSBS9.0 and they said that NSS is available on SLES SP1.
Does any one know if SLES sp1 can be installed on Novell Linux Small
Business Suite 9.0?

IIRC, SP1 only adds a kernel driver for NSS, no other tools/utilities
(e.g. NCP). I don't think this update is designed to provide full support
for NSS, just basic file system mounting.
I am prepared to be pleasantly surprised though :-)

How can I move an e mail account from one family pack to another

I have an e mail address (not main family pack e mail address) and I would like to move it to another family pack. Is this possible and if so how?

I believe that your question is about a Mobile Me family pack account. If that is true, I believe that the answer is no.

Using a copy of the install DVD Family Pack rather than the original?

I'm going to buy a 5 pack for my brother and his family, however given his track record of losing install disks - can I keep the original and send him a copy? I know making a back-up in allowed under Apple's license but in this scenario I would be keeping the original and sending a copy to someone else. My intent is to safeguard the original, not distribute multiple copies, but would this be considered acceptable under the terms of Apple's license?

HT4436 How can I transfer my odl family pack email to new iCloud id? Or add a new email account (not an alias) to my main icloud id?

I had a family pack but now I am not able to reach my son's email account. How can I find and transfer it? Or how can I open a new email account for my son through my icloud id. Actually it seems as if there is an oprating email account under his name but e-we cannot receive any emails or cannot reach the account settings...

Each sub-account of a MobileMe Family Pack should have been individually migrated to iCloud before August 1st last. Assuming that you didn't do this, you should be able to reactivate the address (though not retrieve its previous contents) by signing in with it in System Preferences>iCloud and enabling Mail - your son should do this on his own Mac or his own user account if he is using your Mac. It's not clear whether he will be able to reactivate the @me.com version or only get an @icloud.com version. (It would be useful to know, when he tries it.)
If he did migrate the account to iCloud then signing in in the same way should retrieve the contents and the @me.com address should work.
Alternatively he can just create a new Apple ID (for which he will need a new non-Apple email address) if he doesn't already have one, and sign in with that, enabling Mail and choosing a new @icloud.com address.
You should note that in none of these cases does his account have anything to do with yours (there is no need for a Family Pack equivalent in iCloud as it's free at basic level).
You could add an email alias to your account, but it's not a good idea as it will mix his emails up with yours and he won't be able to detach it later.

Packing Status at Delivery Header

We are in the process of creating a form that will include the details of the all delivery items packed on a handling unit. We want the output to be triggered automatically when the delivery has been completely packed.
We created a requirement to look at the packing status at delivery header level. There is a packing status field (VBUK-PKSTK) at delivery header level and packing status (VBUP-PKSTA) at item level.
We did not expect the delivery header level header to change to "C" until all item were "C". However, the header level field changes to "C" when the first item on the delivery is packed. I
I looked through the SAP Notes to see if there was something there to address this, but could not find anything.
I then searched the forums and found a message from 2007 saying that you must configure item categories with "must be packed" in order for this to work. I know we do not want to configure our system that way. We have many sites and most do not use handling units.
However, before I have my developer add code to check all statuses at item level prior to triggering an output, I want to make sure this is what has to be done. And I have not missed a note to correct this.

Go to transaction "SE16N" and enter table "VBUK" and give the delivery number in the field sales document number. Now you type "&SAP_EDIT" in the transaction bar and execute. Here you can change the status(Total goods movement). And see If you can actually bill the document. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.

Install win 8.1 pro pack

In the process of Adding Features to Win 8.1 with the Microsoft Win8.1 Pro Pack, I was able to install the Microsoft license key - it accepted it, but the last step in the process fails with this error: "Something went wrong. Close this wizard and try again."
I have attempted to reboot and retry, but I get the same error. Has anyone come up with a fix for this?

This is a problem that will be better solved by Microsoft Customer Service. They know the product best. I don't believe that it is a computer component problem. It could be a compatibility problem.

The operation system for my computer is Window 8.1. I am currently trying to install a chinese game. Even though I have downloaded and install all the chinese language pack, I have even set the regional language locale to chinese (similified / traditional),
the chinese characters will not display properly in the game. Some people told me i need to set the locale to Chinese PRC, but I am not sure where to download this PRC language pack for window 8.1 (as I only have chinese simplified and chinese traditional).

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Can not view Chinese [lang pack installed]

I have a strange problem with following PDF which is generated by TCPDF.
I have tried with both Acrobat Reader 9 / X, installed all the language pack I can find. Also installed the 2 fonts specified in the PDF file.
It can be viewed in Google Doc. Other people can view it with no problem on their PC. However, it only shows a blank layout in my PC (picture below)

My OS is WIN7 Ultimate 64 Bit version, stuck for almost a week for me. In the beginning I thought it's the PDF generator's problem but become frustrated after know others and Google can see those Chinese.
SOME FINDINGS: when choose save to TXT file, wow all the Chinese contents can be saved! but just can not be shown in reader.

Language packs: Everything's at 99%

Hi,
I've got WSUS on Server 2012 R2 and 10 Server 2012 R2 servers.
WSUS is quite happily installing all the patches, but they're all stuck at 99% compliance. They're all reporting back that the UK language pack KB2839636 isn't installed.
They all have English-UK set as their default language and display language. KB2839636 doesn't appear in Windows Update.
How can I get this update installed and get 100%?
P.S. I hate language packs :)

Microsoft Service Pack 2 - not all versions are equal; how to update to the latest one "safe

I posted this under another topic where it was relevant, but thought the instructions I got from Microsoft were useful (as was my experience in using them as I sent back a reply to them with the problems I encountered [none of which were particularly bad]):
One important point to note is that not all Windows XP SP2 upgrades are equal.
I had a different issue and spoke to Microsoft, who advised me to uninstall the version of SP2 I had and reinstall the newest version (the old version was about 70mb, the new one nearly 250mb).
Apparently the old SP2 had quite a few problems with it; I've found the new one to be "simply stress free" since installing...
The SP2 file name I installed (ie the newest at the time I did it) was "windowsxp-kb835935-sp2-enu".
Here's their instructions - I disagree with the way round that they suggested downloading the update (ie I would strongly advise downloading the update and having it sitting on your desktop before doing anything!!! - please see my feedback email to them that follows (you will note that I had problems connecting to the internet after uninstalling the earlier version; this, combined with the fact that I could barely read what was on the screen would have given me a major inconvenience had I not done this)!!! (and don't blame me if it goes horribly wrong - it's also worth double-checking that the version of SP2 the email links to is the most up to date. I've had a quick check myself, and it does indeed appear to still be the most up to date):

MY REPLY:
HiI successfully carried out the installation on Saturday.A few minor problems ensued (the second one may have cause a novice user real problems! Certainly caused me some concern whilst working through it!). I had to reinstall ATI drivers from scratch (for Radeon 9800 Pro); this was however the only set of drivers that appeared to "detach" itself. The main problem here was that instead of using the usual standard VGA driver (which it does when I uninstall it once a month to install updated drivers), it used some other driver that made the screen very difficult to see (especially on blue backgrounds!). Running ATI's total uninstall program sorted this out however, and fortunately I had the last update package from ATI still on my system. After uninstalling and reinstalling there appeared to be no further video problems.2. After installing SP2 (and before installing above), whilst I was in the process of getting everything up and running (eg installing the security updates) the system randomly froze about 4 or 5 times; the only way to sort this out was to use the power button. I traced this problem to Windows changing my wireless networking settings so that it handled everything; I have a Netgear adaptor the software for which usually controls this (Netgear Smart Wizard). Basically the two were trying to do the same task and causing crashes; on switching Windows management off, things settled down (the Netgear driver did not need to be reinstalled).3. As a minor point, after the upgrade and installing all other updates, I noted that Microsoft Update was no longer running; I had to reinstall it from Windows Update and the messages I got whilst installing suggested that it was still partially installed but that there were problems with it. It now works.4. As a final minor point, I attach the Scan log from Registry Mechanic which I ran after everything was up and running; it fixed various problems within the registry. I note that the majority of errors are inconsequential, but note that a few do relate to the various Microsoft installs; maybe the installer program for SP2/ Media Player 0 need to sort these out in future releases? Don't think they're a real problem though!The instructions supplied worked fine; one thing I would suggest is that users are instructed to download the SP2 upgrade pack to their desktop prior to uninstalling the original SP2; I believe that my internet connection problems started after I had uninstalled the original SP2 which may have caused problems downloading the new SP2. It also ensures that the download is successful (eg if the site was down for maintenance); I was advised whilst uninstalling SP2 that about 20 programs/drivers would not work properly after the uninstall and so the immediate reinstall was vital!One thing that seemed to fix after reinstalling was a problem I was having installing Media Player 0; after installing it previously, every time I checked for updates on it the whole program would reinstall. Now however this has fixed. I will let you know if I encounter any further problems, but things all seem to be fine now, touch wood.....!

One small thing - I believe the reason why some of my drivers were messing up was because they were SP2 specific; the older drivers and the ones that were compatible with both SP and 2 were fine.
As soon as I did the reinstall, all of the drivers/programs that were not working, worked (aside from the ones that I mentioned in my attached email above).
So, if after uninstalling the old SP2 you are told that loads of drivers/programs will not work, fear not - most should fix themselves upon installing the new SP2.

I have a scenario where I book a sales order against a particular warehouse. But I am never sure whether I will have inventory in that warehouse or some other warehouse at the time of delivery since it a liquid cargo and the tank warehouse may change at the time of delivery.
I am in SAP 8.8 PL 12. The issue is I am not able to release item to a pick list when my warehouse changes and I do not have any inventory in the warehouse in which I had booked an order. I cannot change the warehouse in Sales order also as it is generated through Approval procedure. But the SAP documentation (Whats New in 8.8) suggests otherwise "The SAP Business One pick and pack process now enables you to enforce or override credit and commitment levels on pick lists for specific business partners. Additionally, the Pick and Pack Manager now allows you to release items to a pick list even when there is no available quantity to release, such as when merchandize exists but has not yet been entered into SAP Business One.". I also have the option of release without warning selected in the documents settings.
Kindly advise how to proceed.

I tested a demo in 8.8 using the approval procedure and I confirm that it is not possible to change the warehouse.
However, the documentation you mentioned beneath refers to Pick and Pack, not to the approval procedure.
The document says:
The SAP Business One pick and pack process now enables you to enforce or override credit and commitment levels on pick lists for specific business partners. Additionally, the Pick and Pack Manager now allows you to release items to a pick list even when there is no available quantity to release, such as when merchandize exists but has not yet been entered into SAP Business One
refers to overriding credit and commitment levels and allowing to continue to the pick list even if there is no quantity in stock according to the information in the Inventory tab of the Item master data. However, it does not mention the change of warehouse.
