12.1.5.155 Adobe Shockplayer update keeps showing up on only 1 webpage on website

Hi, I am having a tricky problem I ain't able to understand. Everytime i click on a particular webpage on the haven holiday uk website front page I keep getting a update message from Adobe Shockplayer 12.1.5.155 the page goes still can't click on anything only if i click on install or remind me later! so i have to force stop it only shows up and happens on firefox, i checked the website on google chrome, internet explorer it doesn't happen! I have checked to see if my laptop hasn't got malware or a virus avast anti-virus, malwarebytes, spybot it's picked nothing up. Ive checked the website out on web inspector again picked nothing up! I can't find anything online about this issue either. Im upto date with Adobe Shockplayer and all my programs to.
Can anyone help? does anyone else have this problem?

Ok, so I just went to Australia from NZ and the same thing happened to me. I was so annoyed as I couldn't text, ring or anything. I returned to NZ this morning, rang telecom and they said it's a hardware issue and talked me through this:
Settings, Phone, SIM applications, roaming menu, manual, select your provider, accept.
Go through each stage and this fixed the problem!!

RH 9.0.2 update keeps showing up in Adobe Application Manager (AAM)

AAM keeps showing up in my Windows XP system tray, and listing the 9.0.2 update. I install it and *zingo-bingo* it's back when AAM checks for updates again.
When the update is installing it gets to 13%, then the progress bar suddenly surges to 100% and reports that installation is complete. This is tiresome, annoying, and frustrating.
I searched the fora about this problem but was unable to find any articles on it, so...
...if anyone has any ideas handy, I'm definitely in the market.

I think this is similar to something I have seen before. I don't have the standalone version of RoboHelp 9, mine is part of TCS3 so I don't get a separate entry.
What happens is Add/Remove and Help > About get out of sync and then you have issues. The only solution is to uninstall and then press F5 in Add/Remove. If there is still an entry, don't panic. Repeat the process until it does go. Then reinstall and add the patches one by one.
The steps I have described were necessary for RoboHelp 8 and I believe RoboHelp 9 should uninstall in one pass.
Whatever the rights and wrongs there, I believe you are going to have to uninstall and reinstall.

Pro Video Formats 2.0.1 update keeps showing

No matter how many times I run the updates, the Mac App Store keeps showing me the Pro Video Formats 2.0.1 update for Final Cut. Not sure what is going on or why it keeps showing as an update. It seems to install, but a few days later, it shows up n again as an uninstalled update even though my update history shows that it was already installed.
Has anyone else had this issue, or have a clue what I can do to stop the madness?

App Store Update keeps showing even after installing

the app store on my macbook air keeps showing an update for MacBook Air SMC Firmware update 1.8. it shows 1.66f60 is installed in the system info page.
the MacBook air is late 2010 with OS X 10.9 Mavericks. The update acts like it is installing but, it still shows up in the app store update even after rebooting.
any help would be appreciated.

I have an Epson Artison 810, and since Mountain Lion was installed, my iMac (when waking from sleep or rebooting) keeps asking me if I'd like to download an update for this printer. If I click Yes, I'm taken to the App Store, where, after waiting WAY too long, it tells me my system's up to date, and that no updates are available.

Adobe Flash updater keeps crashing

Safari (8.0.4) is saying the Adobe Flash player is out of date. I have downloaded the updater and tried to install but the installer itself keeps crashing.
I tried dowloading again with the same result. Tried on a completely different computer ,same result. Whats up??

1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
    Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.
    System Preferences > Flash Player > Updates
    Press the “Check Now” button.

Adobe Acrobat Updater keeps offering update, but I can't update manually. Is this a trojan?

Every couple of days I get a panel popping up offering an update to Acrobat 9.4.6 -- looks like this:
But if I go to the adobe downloads site and download AcroProUpd946_all.dmg and run it, the installer does not recognize that my Adobe Acrobat Pro (version 9.2.0) is eligible for the upgrade -- it's just greyed out when I try to select it when the updater asks me to locate the executable that I wish to have upgraded.

The 9.4.6 update is not cumulative. It needs 9.4.5, which needs the update before that, etc. If there's any sort of cumulative update that can update from 9.2 all the way to 9.4.x, I can't find it.

System Update Keeps Showing Same Update

Hi,
I just did a system recovery from the partition on a ThinkCentre MT-M 9636. The O/S is now back to its original condition. Before doing any MS updates, I updated the BIOS, downloaded the latest version of "System Update" from Lenovo, and have applied all the urgent/recommended updates. However, there's one update that keeps re-appearing as needing to be installed, even though it's already been installed multiple times.
It's "Rescue and Recovery Critical Patch for Windows Update (KB917422) - Version 1.00.0005". In fact, I think I manually downloaded & installed it from Lenovo before I even ran System Update.
Any ideas why this is happening and how I can get around it? I want to make sure the machine has all the latest drivers/patches/etc. from Lenovo before I start the MS updates. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It sounds like the details which System Update has on that update which tells it when the update is already installed must be flawed. You can manually confirm it is installed by checking the registry at this location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{83E5061B-A69A-46AD-A780-1DA6569FF283}
The DisplayVersion value should be 1.00.0001

Same updates keep showing up in Mavericks

Updated to Mavericks and now I keep getting a update for Keynote, Pages and Numbers dated October 20, 2013 even though I have done the updates 6 times. Does not show on the update list as completed.

I have the same trouble. The same updates showing up again and again. For Keynote, Pages and Numbers.
Download takes half day.
Installing completes.
Few days later - same update showes up again.
The three programms are blocked from usage as long as the "update" isn't complete.
Painful experience for the Keynote 6.0 and 6.1/ Pages 5.0 and 5.1/ Numbers 3.0 and 3.1 Versions.

Are you sure it is still the same underlying Adobe account that was used when then books were originally accessed, with just the password changed?
In that case, should just have continued working, but ... you are using the world's worst software so anything can happen.

Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help, and indeed installation can even trigger this state.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.

Another is "E_AUTH_NOT_READY"
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).

In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people. Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. App problem #2 - notifications for app updates keep showing up multiple times even after those apps are updated

i had hoped these problems will go away by itself as o/s updates come but even with 1.0.6.2390, they seem to persist so i'm raising my hand so hopefully someone can help. this will be 2nd of 2 issues.
I currently have 5 notifications telling me to update 5 apps as follows:
xtrem snowboarding to 1.5.1
air browser to 1.9.0
air hockey to 2.0.0
globe news to 2.0.4
finger magic to 1.2.0
The problem is that the only app that is not yet updated to the latest version as shown above is air browser - I currently only have 1.8.
All of the other 4 apps I'm already running the versions the notifications are telling me to update to. This has been happening ever since that o/s update where the notifications started popping up in top left corner of home screen in an exclamation mark.
If that's not weird enough, according to app world -> my world, I'm already running globe news 2.0.5!! And it's telling me to UPdate to 2.0.4!! I don't know if this specific case is an app world/notification issue or if it's related to my "app problem #1" posted separately.

I had the same problem, until the update that was released today. that problem seems to have been fixed. I also had a bug in App World if I clicked on the link to sort the App by Free or Paid, Clicking free displayed no apps when there were some and the Paid showed free and paid. That issue was resolved as well.

Uninstalled iTunes, but Apple Software Update keeps showing it

I uninstalled iTunes long ago, but every time Apple Software Update pops up, it always says there is an iTunes update. Does that mean my iTunes did not properly uninstall?

No, it means Apple has released a new version of iTunes. Run Apple Software Update, go to Edit > Preferences and change the schedule to Never, or uninstall Apple Software Update if you have no need for it.

Same Updates Keep Showing After Installation

My App Store constantly shows tat there are 4 updates. I click on the click on the icon, click on the update button, the machine restarts... and the same four updates are still pending.
I have been trying to clear this for two days, so now the list of updates that have already been installed, shows the same update - same version number - numerous times.
I also tried cntrl click to hide the updates that have already installed, and though the option to hide comes up, the updates remain visible.

What is the Adobe Acrobat Updater PDF Repair Setup Computer Freeze Solution?

I'm using CS4 Creative Suite 4 Design Premium.
The Adobe Acrobat Updater keeps urging me to upgrade to Acrobat 9.3.3. When I attempt to do so, I get a Repair Setup screen saying, "Acrobat has detected that there are missing components that require repair. Select the optional components you would like to repair and click Continue. Deselect a component to completely remove it. Click Cancel to cancel the component repair process." The Adobe PDF Printer is shown with a checkbox next to it.
At this point, the check box next to the Adobe PDF Printer, the Cancel button, and the Continue button are all not operable. The whole update process becomes frozen. Even a Force Quit will not remove the updater from the screen. The only way to get rid of it is with a restart.
This keeps happening over and over again and is becoming annoying.
How can this problem be resolved?
Please advise.

Look to see if something similar to:
Adobe PDF or Adobe quality PDF when you go to the print menu and click on PDF.

5 and 6 should have a choice of adobe pdf or adobe quality PDF.
IF it does delete the AdobePDF Print driver from Printer Utility and use this.

Try repairing acrobat installation then running the installer if it gets stuck 've run out of suggestions other than remove Acrobat all together evrything you can find anywhere on the computer (except your PDF and start from scratch. upgrading from 9.0 through each of upgradeds.

Why won't my adobe reader update work right? it won't take my password

My adobe reader update keeps flashing but every time i click on it and put in my password it hangs up at 97%..I tried it several times:))

I have been looking at this most of the day. What I found was any time "TOOLS" or one of the online buttons are clicked or the toolbar on the right that allows you to convert a pdf to word or digitally sign is open reader closes. If you can get that to stay closed reader will open. And again no explanation. No event log. Nothing. If the user is an admin it might work but for a standard user is just closes.

Disabled protected mode and that did not help.
This started to happen just after the last adobe and Windows update on May 14 (patch Tuesday)
