12.2 Build 6006 on Mac Lagging

Hello,
I've spent about two hours already searching and reading these blogs and I have yet to find out how I can fix my lagging problem with Dreamweaver CS6.
I just became a subscribing member and every program that we use works great except the main important one, Dreamweaver.
If someone could please help me with this as it's almost impossible to select items as well as type without losing the cursor.
Thank you.

System specs?
Have you tried the usual #12 & #4? http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/troubleshoot-javascript-errors-dreamweaver-cs4.html
Have you tried another user account to rule out OS user corruption?

  • I want the best Apple Person To Build me a Mac .....I'm not Crazy

For the 1st time in my life I am able to get the Mac of my dreams, I'm disabled and I have spinal problems, one day I may not be able to walk very far!
I need the best Apple Person to build me a Mac Pro LapTop, or a Desktop Mac Pro, I was a Systems Engineer on Apple Computers until 1996 when I was disabled W/Cancer
and I still know a good bit about my Mac's I have a G4/500mhz that I put a OWC Mercury 1.2ghz processor in and 1gb of ram I'm keeping this baby she has been good to me Tell me how to intregate it into the computer you build for me.
I don't know enough about the new Intel Mac's to make a strong decision that is why I need some help and yes I use Adobe products I have a digital camera, Scanner, Epson Printer, 2x's External HD's 1-FW and 1USB and I have a Pioneer DVR-108 in my G4 so like I said she is my baby but she needs a a new guy so is it
a LapTop or a Desktop or a iMac
Help me decide please as I'm going to use this Mac to it's fullest with iLife and Leopard when it comes out and did I mention I used to be a Graphic Artist ..........Thanks, Michael

First you have to define how much power you need. between an imac and a macbook pro, i would pick a macbook pro, because you get the same performance, but its portable, so you can use it anywhere in your house, or on the bed, etc. How much more speed do you need than what your G4 currently gives you? The new Macbook pros perform about as fast as a dual core 2.3 GHz G5, so if you think that is fast enough, then definitely go for one of those. the only deatil is that you owuld have to constantly plug in your peripherals, but it may not be as bad a problem with a USB and firewire hub, so it would only be 2 cables. on top of that, if you dont need super fast access to your hard drives, you can put a wireless card in your G4 (make sure its 54 MB) or plug it into an airport exp[ress, and share the hard drives that way. you could even leave everything plugged into your G4 and control it using remote desktop. that way you wouldnt have to plug peripherals in and out.
You should tell me your budget and I can make a better recommendation, but right off the bat, if you dont think you need a 256 MB graphics card and the 128 MB one would do, i would get the cheapest macbook pro, and upgrade to 2GB RAM total, and the 160 GB hard drive. this is I think the best value if you dont need the upgraded graphics card. If you would like the bigger screen, then go for the 17" also with 2 GB of ram and the 160 GB hard drive.
Unless you really need the power of a mac pro, just get one of the macbook pros, and you will not regret it. I'm using a 2.0 GHz core duo, and I love it. its fast enough for everything I need. I only bought my Mac pro to replace my powermac 2.0 dual processor and my windows computer because I ot used to fast hard drive access through RAID, and I couldnt do this with the macbook pro.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask
One more thing, last year I got very sick, and couldnt really move around too much, and my powerbook became my best friend. I practically stopped using my powermac, so you may want to consider that also. I simply layed in bed with my laptop and remote desktopped to my desktop when I needed something form it.

  • Unable to select logical relations in DataModeler version 4.1.0.866 Build 866 on Mac Yosemite 10.10.1

    Hi Team,
I can not select logical and physical relations in DataModeler version 4.1.0.866 Build 866 on Mac Yosemite 10.10.1 (Java SDK 1.8). DataModeler does not allow me to select them. I mean the next scenario: I create two entities (or tables) and add a logical (or physical) relation between them. After this I can not select the relation in diagram window. Meantime I still can select the relation in browser window.
Could you please suggest me is it a bug (maybe a platform specific problem) or did I miss something in software options?
I found a topic about the same issue. It describes the same problem, though the topic is without an answer and was archived.
New bug - Unable to select logical relations in version 4.0.2.15 Build 15.21 on Mac
At the end, if this is a bug (even a platform specific one), where may I publish details about it to ask for a fix from Oracle team someday in future?
    WIth best regards,
    Kostyantyn

    Hi Philip,
Thank you for the good hint about "default line width and colour".
Meantime the option does not resolve the problem in my case.
According to your suggestion I set maximal width for relation lines and I still can not pick (select) it in diagram window.
I checked behaviour of DataModeler with next display resolutions on MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) in System preferences Displays: "Best for display"; Scaled "More Space", "Larger Text", and "Best (Retina)"... And the problem takes place in all these cases.
Please see attached image - this is how I see the relation line. And I still can hit it!
If I use the DataModler on a casual external monitor, the problem is absent (no matter what a width is). Also I believe the problem takes place only on mac retina displays. Therefore I think this is a platform specific bug.
I do understand a root cause of the problem may have no direct relation with Oracle DataModeler source code.
    With best regards,
    Kostyantyn

  • DW version 12.2 Build 6006 fluid grids

There is no Fluid Grid DIV item from the INSERT/LAYOUT drop down menu in DW 12.2. I have to select DIV and then give it fluid container properties. Any modifications have to be done through the CSS properties panel since there are no DIV handles. My App Manager says this is the latest update. Any ideas?

I've just tested it in Dreamweaver CS6 (Version 12.2, build 6006). Although there is no option for Fluid Grid Layout Div Tag, just clicking Div produces the correct dialog box for a fluid grid div when you're working with a Fluid Grid Layout:
Clicking Div in an ordinary HTML page produces a different dialog box like this:
This brings CS6 more into line with the way Dreamweaver CC works. In CC, the Layout category of the Insert panel is context sensitive. When working with a Fluid Grid Layout, you're no longer limited to divs. All layout elements can be inserted as fluid elements. Try it with Header, Navigation, etc.

  • Build A New Mac out of G4 Case

    Hi Everyone,
I have an old G4, and I'm interested in a weekend project to build a new Mac with new components in a G4 tower.
I don't know/care about the legality of this, just want to have fun building a Mac by my own. ( never done once before! )
Is this possible? What are the resources I have? Store that I need to buy the component from?
Hopefully, I'd like to have Snow Leopard on it.
    Thank you,
    Nacintosh520

    Hi, Nacintosh -
Although peripherals such as optical drives, hard drives, RAM, and graphics cards are readily available from sources other than Apple, the same can not be said for the critical proprietary components such as the main logic board and any associated daughter or front panel boards.
Unlike Windows-based machines, there are no makers of boards for Macs other than Apple. This means that there are only two sources for such items - AASPs (Apple Authorized Service Providers), which operate under certain limitations of what components they can sell for other than repair work; and cannibalizing used machines, from sources/sites such as WeLoveMacs or from a private party. The result of this is that there are no inexpensive boards available, at least not for any reasonably current models - and this includes all Intel-processor ones.
This is not to say that what you want to do can not be done. It probably can be done, but not cheaply; quite possibly doing it would cost not much less, if any, than what a new Mac would cost.
Besides, with a new Mac you get a warranty.

  • Where to get flash build 4 for Mac?

I have the serial number for flash build 4. But I don't delete my flash build installation in my Mac. Now I got problem about my flash build 4.0. And I can not find where to download the flash build 4 for mac. All are flash build 4.5.

    PK,
Theres an eval version here of NWDS, WAS 6.40, EP6:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/downloadarea.sdn
Select 'Web AS' from the 'Available Downloads' menu and select:
'SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal on MaxDB, Developer Edition Sneak Preview - Web Application Server Java 6.40 with MaxDB, Developer Studio'
You might also need winrar to extract (if extension is .rar). You can download a command line version for free from here:

  • How to move an App from one mac to DPS App builder on another mac

When I try to download the Developer app, after adding new UDIDs to the provisioning certificate, I get an error stating the app was built on a different machine. Everything works great when completed from the original Mac that I did the build on. (this was created on a "freelance design" machine and now needs to move to the company machine. I have tried to delete the app and start over, howeve the "Delete" option is grayed out. Using the single edition app.

If you are a Creative Cloud subscriber, you would need to have InDesign Installed on the new Mac. Then you need to click on 'Create App' from Folio Builder Panel in InDesign on the new Mac. That will launch DPS App Builder and embedd the folio in your App. So bottomline is that you need to do this process on the new Mac.
If you however purchased DPS Single Edition ($395) you may export the Folio from Folio Producer and then import the folio in DPS App Builder and continue buliding the App.
I can delete the app for you, send me your DPS App Builder id and App name via Private Message.

  • Flash Builder 4.6 Mac Creative Suite Install Experience Went Ok

Just wanted to post having successfully installed FB 4.6 on Mac.
    System Macbook Pro
    OS 10.6.8
CS5 MasterSuite plus CS5.5 Master Suite on top of that. Cannot remember why I still have both but it had to do with a complimentary upgrade due to purchase date of CS5.
Had both FB 4 and FB4.5. Cannot remember why I still have both.
I had downloaded the FB6 dmg file from the Adobe site.
    What I did:
I removed FB4.5 but not not remove FB4 using the uninstall icon in the FB4.5 folder.
One that starts make sure you uncheck all the installed software and then just check FB to uninstall. Really easy to uninstall the whole suite!
Then I clicked the downloaded FB6 dmg file.
    I choose Trial Version.
I had two items to install presented to me.
One was FB. This I could check.
One was AIR. This I could not check as it reported it found a trial release that prevented it from being selected. No advice about proceeding or stopping and taking other action.
    I proceeded anyway.
Then I launced FB6 and it went right in.
Now I will have to try it and see if that AIR item was something that will cause me some suffering.

Please try removing Flash Builder 4.5.1 and then try downloading and installing from the Adobe Application Manager.  If that still does not work then I would recommend downloading the trial of Flash Builder and entering your Adobe ID tied to your Creative Cloud subscription.

  • Flash Builder 4.6 Mac OS X Subclipse support

I'm having a tough time getting Subclipse 1.8.x installed on Flash Builder 4.6 on Mac OS X 10.7.2, and having a tough time finding straight answers. Can anyone verify that Subclipse 1.8.x does not install/work on this configuration? If Subclipse 1.8.x doesn't work, what versions of Subclipse do work?
The main stumbling block seems to be that SVNKit doesn't appear for installation on the Install New Software… option in Flash Builder. This is needed since JavaHL does not work for Subclipse on the Mac.
For the record, I'm roughly following the installation directions from here, but substituting http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.8.x for the server site:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/jasonsj/2010/03/installing_subclipse_in_flash_builder_4.html
According to this informal message, svnkit is not yet compatible with Subclipse 1.8:
    http://svn.haxx.se/subusers/archive-2011-10/0066.shtml
My goal is to get a built-in svn client that works with subversion 1.7.x. If there are alternatives, please let me know!

OK, the latest SVNKit only support Subversion 1.6.5 (http://svnkit.com/documentation.html), so Subclipse 1.6 is the latest version supported.
Rats. I'll have to use a separate svn client just to work with Subversion 1.7 repositories.

  • Flash Builder 4 for Mac: Unable to export a release build

    Hi
I've been unable to export release builds of any AIR projects when using a Mac installation of Flash Builder 4. I can run the AIR apps within the IDE, but I keep getting the following error when exporting: "One or more errors were found while trying to build the release version. Unable to export."
The weird thing is that I can export the exact same AIR projects using my Windows 7 copy of FB4 just fine, without any errors.
    Details of the Mac installation:
    OSX 10.5.8
    Flash Builder 4 plug-in version, v4.0.1, on Eclipse v3.4.2
I performed a fresh install of FB4 today (before anyone suggests it ) but to no avail.
The error log - I wasn't sure what to copy, so just took everything that had the right time entry:

    Hi Chris
    Thanks for your reply.
I had already seen that post, and the answers were not applicable to me. But thankfully I have found the solution now!
I Googled the error message: "org.apache.xerces.dom.DeferredElementImpl.getTextContent()Ljava/lang/ String", and came across the following bug report:
    http://code.google.com/p/alkwarel/issues/detail?id=10
As suggested in the link above, I deleted the xerces.jar  located in user.home/Library/Java/Extensions/. I then cleaned my project, and FB4 for Mac finally exported the release build!
That bug has been annoying me for MONTHS. I'm so happy it's fixed now!
    All the best,
    Zabeen

  • Transfering files from Windows Dreamweaver CS5.5 to build apps on MAC

I am considering upgrading to CS5.5 to take advantage of Dreamweaver's new Phonegap features.
    I am a Windows user.
I know I can't build iOS APPS on Windows but can I move th files I have built to a MAC with a development envvironment and build the APP there ?
    Thanks
    Phil Stern

Depends on what you're wanting to build. HTML5 webpages are cross-browser/ cross-device compatible and will work across iOS, Android & BlackBerry (modify with WebWorks) models.
In this case, a HTML editor is recommended. If you do not have DW on the Mac, you could copy the projects folder from localhost ROOT and open it with any HTML editor.
I think you're confusing yourself with the iOS build here. There is no such thing as a 'native' Mac environment to build iOS webpages. Webpages made with any HTML editor will open on iOS.
If you're talking about building iOS Apps, you need to download XCode and other related iOS SDK's to start. This link should give you an insight: https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action

  • When i play a game or video my mac lags, and m sure its not the internet,

First, when i play a game(like wow and wot stuff) my computer lags, but the ping is fine( like 120ish) and the fps is fine too( like 100 ish). Also when i watch a video( like on hulu, youtube ect.) its loads slowly, and my internet speed is fine, the download is like 11.5 mbps, and up load is 4 mbps.  My mac is also new, got it like 3 month. i have radeon HE+D 6770M with 1 gb mem, i just want to know whats the problem.

You can't have iOS 7.0.4 connected to a Mac OS X 10.3 system.  Please tell us what web browser you have, go to the web browser's help menu, and select About web browser name.  That may also be in the browser's own menu name.   Once we know the browser, we can help you find the "purge."  Usually the function is known as emptying the browser cache.  Do not attempt to empty system caches.

  • Flash Builder 4.7 mac , after upgrade to adobe air 13/14 wont create new projects

im running flash builder 4.7 on mac, and recently upgrade to a newer air, this was sad in itself as flash builder dosnt have a mechanism for doing this you have to paste files all manually all over the place.
Im now running into an issue where I cannot even create projects.
Has anyone had this issue? does anyone know how to solve?
    Thanks

Called support had the pleasure of a really long wait time.
first level tech support stated this was a "known issue", got transferred to another sr technician who was going to fix this, didn't have a clue about the previous conversation and the call dropped. I don't have the patients to wait on hold nearly an hr again.
Adobe, if this is a known issue please post a sticky somewhere or assign someone to reply to the community posts.
If anyone else has the answer to this, that would be much appreciated, Im kind of loathing flash builder at the moment and resenting the fact i can't run flash develop natively on mac.

  • JavaFX 2.1 build b09 on Mac OS X not working?!

I have downloaded JavaFX 2.1 build b09 and the samples for Mac OS X (10.7.2 / Apple Java 1.6.0_29-b11-402-11M3527 64-Bit).
I unpacked the folder "javafx-sdk2.1.0-beta" in my home and the "javafx-samples-2.1.0-beta" in the "javafx-sdk2.1.0-beta"
folder. Double clicking "BrickBreaker.jar", "Ensemble.jar" and "FXML-LoginDemo.jar" do not start any application. But instead a
a few (-10) seconds after the java icon in the dock appears the "java" process crashes.
The "SwingInterop.jar" sample and other swing applications like netbeans run as usual.

Is there a certain way to install the javafx 2.1 runtime? There is an installer for Windows, but not for the Mac or Linux distributions yet - for those you currently just unzip the distributions.
There is a feature request for an installer for Mac (http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-18147), but from the comments it is unclear whether an installer will be implemented or not.
On Windows, after you have installed JavaFX you can just run the sample jars by double clicking on them because the launcher in the samples knows how to check to find the installed location of the JavaFX runtime.
Why would they provide sample jar files for Mac if they will not work. For Mac, as there was no install, you probably need to run them using java -cp <path to jfxrt.jar> <samplename>.jar, so that the system knows where it can find the javafx runtime. However I don't have a Mac to test this. So, perhaps somebody who has a Mac can post how they run the JavaFX samples on this thread.
