12 days of gifts, no Lorde music

I downloaded the 12 days of gifts app on my other Apple ID and didn't get the free Lorde EP music. I got it with this account though. What is the issue? O_o

If you tap View Gift you will be guided to the page showing the whole "Africa" series.
From here, tap the first episode - "Kalahari" and it will seemingly show you the same page.
If you tap "Kalahari" once more, you will see the page for the episode and will display "Free" for you.

12 days of gifts - paused download, to resume the next day

Hi, i downloaded 12 days of gifts and was trying to download a free video. I paused it then completely forgot about it. So can i still continue to download? Will i be charged? Or will it still be free? If i decide to not dowload and just delete it? How?

Sounds like it may be stuck. Follow the directions below:
Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
After the device has restarted, sign back in to the App Store as above. Then check the status of your download. If it's paused, un-pause it and see if it continues after that. I believe it's a large download (a TV episode in HD) so it may take longer than you're expecting and could be slow just because so manny people are downloading it at the same time.

How do I delete songs from 2013 "12 days of gifts"?

I downloaded Avicii's 2 songs from the "12 days of gifts" promo of 2013 onto my iPhone 4s. How do I remove them? I can remove other songs, but can't swipe to delete. Also, there's the iCloud logo next to them. Very frustrating in trying to find help online with this question.

If there is a cloud icon next to a song, then that song file is not physically present on the device - cloud icon just means it is available for download. Go to Settings>Itunes and App Store>Show all and Turm Music OFF - songs will disappear from Music App.

Good Morning
I am having problems with my ipad mini retina when i download 12 days of gifts app from itunes
i setup it up exactly like my iphone.
i select store CANADA
but no matter what i do
i uninstall and reinstall and make sure its the same account
i still get that error : Unable to complete your request: check that your account information is correct and try again.
please help

Workaround:
Since 12 Days is just linking to iTunes Store I just tried to open it via the Browser and get Home Alone using iTunes on my PC.
Please make sure you are logged in to iTunes using your Apple ID and search for the Movie name in your respective language. e.g. when I search "Home alone iTunes" in google I get the US link, click on view in iTunes and get told its not available in German iTunes store. But when I open up iTunes and search for "Kevin allein Zuhause" (German name of Home Alone) I get forwarded to the free of charge Version and can download it using iTunes on my PC.

It's possible that the app you downloaded is only compatible with an iOS device. Apps that are compatible with the computer are found in the Mac App Store. They are downloaded to the Applications folder on your computer.

Yesterday's app here in the UK still appears to be free (at the moment) to download (I don't know what the app's normal price is) : Score! Classic Goals. If it's not free in your country's store then if you want you will need to buy it.

12 days of gift app not installing on my iPad.

I can't install the 12 days of gift app. It shows a black screen when I click the app link.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Why is iTunes 12 Days of Gifts not available in the US Store? I wanted to have one, this is the first time to experience this but this is not available, it is not fair. And no, I can't afford to buy songs movies and apps, I only rely to Gift Cards. Please include it in the US Store

Yes, there are quite a few reports on the forum of the same issue, although no mention of the issue on the Apple Status page. It seems to be a widespread iTunes issue.

This question comes up from time to time. YouTube and Facebook are both wrong.
There are a number of con-men who think that they can earn a quick buck from claiming that they own the copyright to Apple’s royalty-free jingles and sound effects included with the iLife applications. These are all free to use, as clearly stated in section 2.C of the iLife Software License Agreement:
“You may use the Apple and third party audio content (“Audio Content”) contained in or otherwise included with the Apple software, on a royalty-free basis, to create your own original soundtracks for your video and audio projects. I'd like to gift my fave music-making apps to my niece - but can't because I already own them? Wha...?
I've seen older discussions about this that suggest logging out of my account and then attempting the gift, but that doesn't work. I'm on an iPhone 4s (Model MC924LL/A) running 7.1.1, in the US.

Just to be clear, I'm in no way attempting to give her my copies; I'm trying to buy them for her new iPhone and can't because I already own them.

It is telling you that the device has been associated with another Apple ID. Once an Apple ID has been associated with a device, there is a 90-day waiting period before another Apple ID can be associated with that device. Here is a Support Article that explains the 90-day waiting period:

A couple quick ?'s-
1) Since a number of the apps have been "unavailable for this device" (for my Q10....), is there a way to procure the app and retain it for if/when we in the US ever get a 10.2 OS update? I assume the "unavailability" is secondary to us having only access to 10.1.0.2030 from the carrier.
2) Would like to get the BeWeather Pro.. In my profession, we are not allowed to have a cell phone with wifi. Although I realize I could temporarily activate the wifi (assuming I can discover a password to any of a few dozen wifi sites listed....) Question- is it possible to load the app via Link or via the web? If the only way to download or to update the app, is via wifi, it should be mentioned.

Let's try to clear up this issue for you, I'd like to clear out the music on your iPod first. You'll want to find the Sync Music Checkbox, uncheck it, then Apply or Sync:
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes once more. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPod nano, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.

Not sure if this will help but a reset is the first thing to try. To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
