1262/3500 for WLAN between buildings

Hi,
I currently have WLC 5508 and a few campuses with LAP 1142, each with 2-3 vlan. Now one of our campuses have a building thas is a bit far away and needs network (wired). We can't get fiber or TP-cable there in a good way.
So the plan is to get two 1262 or 3500 with AIR-ANT5160NP-R antennas and get a wireless link working between the campus and the building. And then connect one of the AP's to a switch in the other building to provide it with wired network.
The problem is that I can't find information on how to do it. Do you have any config guides on this? Should both APs be in autonomus mode?
I probably only need to have 1 VLAN in the other building but I am not sure yet. Is there a problem with transfering several VLAN over the WLAN-link?

#wirelessly wgb can extend WLC connected wired/wireless network to Wired and Wireless devices connected behind wgb.
#mesh can extend WLC connected wired/wireless network to wireless devices connected behind mesh AP and also it can bridge multiple wired network behind Mesh AP to other Mesh APs in that group wirelessly.
multiple vlan is supported on Mesh AP, it is just like extending local mode access point through wireless link.
wgb supports multiple vlan from certain new WLC versions.

Recommended products for connection between buildings 50 meters apart

I have a client that requires a connection between their two buildings 50 meters apart. If possible they require bandwidth up to 54Mbps. Currently they only have a switch in either building.
Can anyone recommend a solution for this? Will they need two bridges or do they need 1 bridge and 1 AP?

In europe the best way to do this is to use a cisco 2 x 1300 if you are in the states you can use 2 x 1400. However the 1300 is more flexible.

I'm a designer student and as a designer, I constantly have to make decks for presentations. I typically work in a group of six and because I'm confident with graphic design, I tend to be the leader of these tasks. I've found the best workflow for slide creation is Indesign. Unfortunatly, I'm just an awful writer— so when I heard about Incopy's collabrative features(saw the post from indesign's facebook page) I saw oppertunity and got very excited. My teamates and I typically all have subscriptions to adobe cc because of this, I was wondering (since I havent used it at all) if the storage given out from adobe cc was able to be that shared volume that is required for the live link between incopy stories and indesign layouts.

If this needs any further clarification I'll gladly write a more detailed question — lastly, if this is not possible might you suggest an alternative? Please assume that we go to school together but we work offsite also.

You will not be able to use the Files page at https://creative.adobe.com/files for collaboration in this way. But you can share individual files in this way.
When folder sharing is available this will be possible.

We want to use the automatic creation PO with tcode ME59. this scenario is clear when the purchase is from a supplier. but ¿this can be used also for transfer between plants?
For example we don´t have info records for transfer this material to one plant to another and this is a requirement in automatic po

The PO does not relate a supplier in header, instead it has the plant code.
However I tried to execute the automatic creation of PO with ME59 and I obtain the error below

Use ME59N,
But before using ME59N, you have to configure something, we know in ME59N, system will take default document type as NB automatically. (Check the sap note 924105, 114213, 994209)
You have to set the control T for the document type, so system will take the supplying plant instead of vendor.
Only then you can create automatic PO from ME59N.
I've tested that and I've done it successfully.

I changed the about:config to make the rotate gesture move between tabs, and it worked great for well over a year. Now it behaves erratically as described here:

It used to be very controllable to move one tab over, now it is erratic and moves quickly and to unexpected tabs regardless of how slow I do the rotate gesture. This is the main reason I use Firefox over Chrome and I would like to continue to do so unless there is no fix to this.

Just set the browser.gesture.twist.threshold to something around 15-25.

Ports required for communication between Web servers and service applications (the default is HTTP)

We're using SharePoint 2010, I'm the system admin for a SharePoint farm. We enabled SharePoint Search by adding a Search Service APplication. One of the crawl report timer job is failing every 5 minte with the error "Cannot connect to remote server".
After digging around, we found that the server running the timer job tries to connect to the SearchAdmin.svc on the index server, over HTTPS / port 32844 However, communication over SSL via a non default port is blocked by our firewall.
According to this article: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262849.aspx the default is HTTP for communication
between web servers. How is it possible that it's trying to connect over SSL?

4400 WLC Layer 3 Authentication Status for WLAN Clients

We have 3 4400 series WLC's(wireless LAN controllers). Two 4404 WLC's are on the "inside" of our network and all AP's (access points) on our network use these two WLC's as the primary or secondary controller. The 4402 WLC Anchor controller resides in our DMZ and is used for WLANs that are more oriented for guest usage. These guest WLANs are configured on the inside controllers also, but are "anchored" to the 4402. On the anchor controller we are using layer 3 Web Authentication for the WLAN "Guest". This WLAN uses the internal web-auth page within the anchor controller and a username/password combo that is locally defined on the anchor controller.
Functionally there is no issue. Users connecting to the WLAN are presented with the web-auth page upon connecting to the WLAN and opening a web browser. The issue is how the layer 3 authentication information is presented on the Monitor Clients page of the "inside" WLC's management screen as compared to the "anchor" WLC.
For example, if we log in to the anchor controller and then click Monitor, then Client, then Change Filter and choose any WLAN requiring layer 3 authentication on the Anchor controller, there will be a list of all clients currently associated. In the Column with the "Auth" heading it shows the Layer 3 Authentication status of the clients. For example, if there are 15 clients associated to WLAN SSID "Guest", but only 5 of them have opened their web browsers and correctly logged in, then this will be correctly displayed. The 5 who have logged in will show "Yes" and the other 10 will show "No" in the Auth column.
Now...the problem...on the inside controllers...if we do the same thing (monitor, clients, filter for WLAN SSID "Guest"), all 15 will show "Yes" under the Auth column. In most cases the 15 clients will be distributed accross both controllers (maybe 6 on one, and 9 on the other WLC), but both inside controllers will display all clients as having a layer 3 authentication status of "Yes". We have proven over and over that this is not accurate. This is very inconvenient because the "Client Count" reports we run on the WCS server reflect the same information as the "inside" controllers. The WSC reports will show all 15 as Authenticated and they are not. We have proven many times that the anchor WLC is the only controller accuratly conveying this info.
Also, the engineers who helped with our network install have reproduced the same behavior in a lab with an anchor and inside controller directly connected. They suggested it may be a code bug with the 4400 series WLC. We are running controller Software Version 6.0.188.0 on all 3 controllers.
Please let me know what you think may be causing this issue. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

We run version 7.0 on the WCS and WLCs but I thought I'd try the report and see what I got. The result is a line graph with the number of associated and authenticated clients superimposed. I'm not sure how useful a report of this nature is.
It doesn't inspire confidence: when I specifiy the guest wireless SSID I get zero clients! I know there have been guest clients authenticated during the report period I spec'd.

You have 2 ways of loading data from R/3 to APO.
1. R/3 to BW cube to APO-BW cube to APO planning area
or
2. R/3 to APO-BW cube to APO planning area
BW can be a enterprise BW system ( independent) or you can use the BW inbuilt in APO also referred to as APO-BW.
The only difference between the 2 BW systems is APO-BW can not take the load of reporting where as the enterprise BW can.
Unless your company policy requires the enterprie BW system, I suggest using 2nd way.
You can load the data from R/3 to APO-BW cube using extractors either generic or standard depending on your data. You need to have a RFC connection setup between APO-BW and R/3. ( This is not CIF).
When you load the data into the APO-BW cube, you just have to load the data from the cube to APO planning area using the transaction /sapapo/tscube.

Solution for connection between BODS and WCF web service ?

Hi,
we have a unique requirement of connecting BODS to WCF webservice. This web service acts as a layer for connection between proprietary databases (secured) and other external systems. Queries are to be sent to this web service in order to fetch data from proprietary databases.
In order to connect to these web services, we should also provide Address, Binding and contract whose details are already present with us.
Example of web service address: net.tcp://op12345:10101/sd
I heard Adapters are the best way of connecting to the above web service, could you please provide some guidance on connecting through adapters if it is the best solution.
Could someone suggest the best possible approach(ASAP) to bring connection between BODS and web services and to execute the above requirement.
Please let me know in case of any more information.

With this component it was my intention to make a more "terse" version of the LabVIEW Flatten to XML VI that was also supported on RT and that gave the user more flexbility regarding the structure of the parsing type definition. I think you are right that the XML parser is not compliant to section 2.11 of the XML spec. The parser does specifically looking for a #D#A and this appears to be an oversight on my part. Please confirm for me, the specifcation is saying that the XML parser should be able to recognize three possibilities as an "end of line" character: #D#A, #D, or #A. Am I reading this right?There are more efficient (and in some cases much more efficient) ways of sharing data between LabVIEW and LabVIEW: some examples are flattened binary strings and the datalog binary format. XML is slower than these optons but the upside is that it is human readable. Furthermore XML is inherently hierarchical which is convenient for complex data structures like clusters of arrays of clusters, etc. If you don't care about human readability then you are correct XML doesn't make as much sense.I will return to the GXML source code and try to fix this in the near future but I would hope that instead of creating yet another custom VI from scratch that you could reuse what I have provided for you. I included enough documentation in the source code so that users could make some modificiations themselves. The target application for this reference library was LabVIEW to LabVIEW communication. As such I documented the schema on the dev zone document from a LabVIEW perspective. It includes all the supported datatypes and all the supported data structures (cluters, arrays, multidimensional arrays, clusters of multidimensional arrays, etc.) I do see some value in making a more conventional XML spec but the time investment required didn't really line up with my intended use case.
