12c- Middleware feature - Import Assertion template to middleware domain

Hi All,
I have integrated SOA domain to Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c and not able to find the way to import the policy templates to my domain. Earlier we did this by using “Import from file” option using Web Services Assertion Templates.
I have gone through the below path:
Target->Middleware->Added the Target. Then when i go to the newly added target home page, when i right click on domain , i am not able to see "policies" menu like 11g.
Could you please help me how to import web service policy templates using OEM 12c.

Hi,
From the Middleware domain page left navigation menu, expanded WebLogic Domain-> right click domain ->select web services menu. I am able to see only the following submenus under "Web Services" menu.
1. Policy Dashboard
2. Registered Services
3. Test Web Services
4. Saved Testes.
When i click teh "Policy Dashboad", it goes to "Web Services Policy Dashboad" page. But i was not able to find the "Import from File". Please correct me if i am doing anything wrong.

So you want to move the iPhoto Library?
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Import/export - templates not working?

We're just trying to deploy our Portal application into the production environment, and having a lot of problems. We're still on 3.0.6.6.5.
Firstly - if we import something more than once it creates a 2nd version. I've seen messages on this forum saying the -m switch has values of new/reuse, but the docs say check or create only. Is this a change at 3.0.7 or 3.0.8? I'm a little nervous about deleting objects in the production environment, we've been having random problems with metadata corruption when deleting objects in the dev environment.
Secondly, we have our own template which is assigned to all application components. When we tried to export/import the template, we got no errors but it obviously didn't work. When we tried to edit the template to take a look at it, we got an error saying we're missing some dependent objects. The only objects referenced by the template are images and fonts - we haven't created our own, we've reused standard images & fonts, so why are we getting this error?

Answers to your questions :
1. One cannot import the same component twice on the same portal instance. You might have tried the import with -m check option.
2. There are two modes in which an application/component import can run :
CREATE and CHECK.
3.Can you specify the exact error that you got when you tried to edit the template?

Importing XML Templates

Hi,
Currently I am using Adobe Framemaker to import XML templates and make tables of data. Once the data has been imported into Framemaker it is easy to manipulate (change colours/sizes of columns etc.)
However, I am looking for a way to do this work in InDesign.
So far, I have tried importing the XML template into InDesign successfully, but as soon as I try to change columns/delete columns, basically make any changes to the table, InDesign freezes, and I have to restart the program.
The XML document is very large (4,089 rows in excel) and imported from Excel.
I am using CS4 on Windows XP.
Can anyone help ?

Does InDesign freeze if the table is not tagged? (i.e. untag the table and perform the column changes.)

OVM 3.0.3 unable to Import RAC Template

This could be just a minor issue, but I need assistance to troubleshoot.
A) Problem: Server error message: Template import error: [Errno 14] curl#7 - "couldn't connect to host"
B) Environment:
OVS 3.0.3 fresh install
- hostname OVServer & ip address = 192.168.1.222
- Downloaded RAC templates: OVM_EL5U5_X86_64_11201RAC_PVM-1of2.tgz & OVM_EL5U5_X86_64_11201RAC_PVM-2of2.tgz
- unzipped templates in /OVS/seed_pool
- Storage: 2 Hard drives: 1 TB & 80 GB - The 80GB is used for the Repositories at this time.
- I have created 5 Virtual Disks disks as per RAC11201-OVM-template-TestConfiguration.pdf
OVM 3.0.3 fresh install
- hostname: OVManager & ip address = 192.168.1.223
Doubts: Wile trying to import the Template, I was not sure of what to enter for "Template URL". I tied different entries but they all failed including:

Thanks. I didn't see that fact in the docs.
I moved the templates into my VM Manager box (192.168.1.223) into a new folder /ora_templates which has chmod 777.
192.168.1.223 is a Virtual Machine.
I tried testing the URL http://192.168.1.223/ora_templates in my windows browser and it failed with "HTTP Error 403" & "The server has denied your browser request"
I tried the Template import again using the following url and it failed again with similar errors:

Questions:
1. How do I test access to these files from a browse?
2. If I have to ftp, what will the entry look like.
3. ftp doesn't seem to be installed on the OVM Server - how do I install it or activate if it there?
4. What is the solution to my problem above?
Trying to get these templates working has been pretty time consuming much more than described and expected.

Remove reference to Publishing Feature from site template

Hi all, I have a custom site collection which I package as a wsp to deploy as a custom solution template to multiple sites.
Accidentally, years ago I've activated Publishing Features in my site template and then disabled them. I still work and create new templates from my site without any problems (ShP 2010).
Now, I've installed SharePoint 2013 and updated my site template to 2013. Then, I've created the new wsp but when I try to apply my template to a new site collection I receive an error message: "Failed to instantiate file "AlternateMediaPlayer.xaml"
from module "Style LibraryMedia Player_Features\PublishingResources": Source path "Features\PublishingResources\AlternateMediaPlayer.xaml" not found."
How could I remove all the reference to features belonging to Publishing Features?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to remove reference to publishing feature from site template in SharePoint 2013.
You can do as the followings:
extract all files from WSP file by (a tool or) changing the wsp file to cab file and then extract all files to a working folder.
edit the Onet.xml file to remove the unsupported features and save the changes.
create a ddf file for makecab.exe to repack the wsp
run cmd: makecab /f my.ddf to generate the new WSP file

Unable to import space templates in webcenter spaces using default import

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in importing space template in webcenter spaces.The steps i followed were:
1. Logged into webcenter spaces and in space templates,I selected one template.
2. Then I clicked on 'Export' button and template exported successfully on my local machine.
3. It was in .ear format so I changed it to .rar and extracted it.
4.Then I got .mar and I changed extension again to .rar.
5. In the folder I went to \webcenter_1298368482200\transport\oracle\webcenter\page\scopedMD\sd6290014_14b6_41a1_8ac1_f84d239ebe53\spacetemplate\DiscussionSiteHome.jspx.
6. I made certain changes in that .jspx file.
7. then I saved those changes and again changed extension .mar and .ear.
8. After that I went to webcenter spaces.I selected the template from the list of templates in spaces and clicked on 'Import' button .
9. It asked for path and I gave the path of .ear
10. It imported successfully but the changes were not reflected in the template in webcenter spaces.
Pls help me out as it is very urgent.

The issue you are having is with Windows, not with the iPhone (you would likely have the same problem with any digital camera that you plugged into the computer). The following instructions from Microsoft may help:

Can you import custom templates for keynote?

Yes you can. You can import a Motion project file directly into DVD Studio Pro, though when I tried it took a loooooong time (depends on the size and complexity of the project of course). Here's a tutorial on how to do that:

OR... you can just export your Motion project and import it into DVD SP as a Quicktime file, and put that in the Menu section. Then you can add your buttons and so forth and proceed from there.

I've waited 24hrs and i'm still getting the GoldImageImportNotAllowed error. Can anybody suggest anything else? as far as I can see the image is all fine, it was based on the RemoteHost template, and it has been sysprepped etc. I really need this to work,
as my trial is running out and I want to demo this before it ends.

Importing a Template

I am trying to import a template without hardcodoing the physical path.
Parent template lives where usual report files are, for example:

If I point the URL to the Template thats in this location I get the following error.
"Resource /xmlpserver/development/Reports/Test/Detail.rtf not found on this server"
I am able to access this template if I put it in a webserver and access like this.
http://localhost/jedi/test/Detail.rtf and it asking for download.
I am trying to put this Detail template in the same location where all the report files are and want to import it without hardcoding the toal path for obvious reasons.
I tried to use <?$CURRENT_SERVER_URL?> but its not finding the template even if I access directly with this url.
http://localhost:9704/xmlpserver/development/Reports/Test/Test.xdo
and getting this error as I mentioned.
"Resource /xmlpserver/development/Reports/Test/Detail.rtf not found on this server"
There are 2 ways I could import the template,
1. by hardcoding the path liek this
<?import:file:///C:\oracle\BIP\xmlp\XMLP\Users\development\Reports\Test\Detail.rtf?>
2. or by accessing it from webserver applicaiton like this
<?import: http://localhost/jedi/test/CommodityDetail.rtf?>
Disadvantage over the second step is - I need to put the report files in some other location.
I want to import the template from the usual report location without hardcoding the path.
I am sure this is one of the common requirements.
Could anyone throw some light on this please?

Import VM template - DBFileExistsError

I setup a VM Server and VM Manager..... now I'm traing to import my first VM Template without success.
These are the steps I did:
- copy VM_TEMPLATE_FOLDER in /OVS/seed_pool
- Import VM Template from VM Manager web interface,I choose "Select from Server Pool (Discover and register)" than input options about "Server Pool Name", "Virtual Machine Template" ecc ecc, but I retrive this error message:
"OVM-5004 Invalid virtual machine config file. - "

I changed dir name to test..... I can rechange di to OVM_EL4U5_X86_PVM_SOAFORC4JNew but the error is the same!

Dreamweaver CC features such as Template Parameters

I have Dreamweaver CS6 and have not ventured onto the cloud yet. While looking up a question regarding syntax for Dreamweaver Template Parmeters, I noticed most of the documentation starts with the clause "The user interface has been simplified in Dreamweaver CC and later. As a result, you may not find some of the options described in this article in Dreamweaver CC and later." I found this expression even when I searched Creative Cloud specific support, e.g. see Dreamweaver Help | Using optional regions in templates. The link A Look at the Modernized Dreamweaver CC : Adobe Dreamweaver Team Blog is over a year old and no help.
How in the world do you find what features actually exist in Dreamweaver CC without buying it? Are Template Parameters still available? Has anyone successfully imported a Dreamweaver CS6 site that has Template Parameters to Dreamweaver CC? I found a PDF for Dreamweaver CC, (http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/dreamweaver_reference.pdf) which seems to indicate Template Parameters are still supported, but I don't have a lot of faith in it based on previous experiences with Adobe documentation.

Yes. Why do you want to use them? There are usually better ways to do things... Are you also using nested templates, by chance?

There is no "import" to it. You just define a site in CC that points into the CS6 site's local root folder and you're ready to go.

Feature Request: assertion failed! - but why???

I request a way for plugin authors to get at some more detailed information about various Lightroom failures when things dont work.
For example, some strings to go with "assertion failed!" would often be helpful.

Maybe its your specific workflow, asset mangement and use of a 3rd party application that runs you into an issue.
Take Pluraleyes out of the equation, I would imagine my workflow is the same as most everyone else. Find footage in the Media Browser. Import it. Create a Sequence and start editing. Use the Source Monitor to set Ins and Outs and then Insert the clip on the timeline.
At this point, if the audio needs to be modified, it cannot be done on the Timeline. The workaround, of course, is to Find Clip in Project; Modify Audio in the Project panel; then do a Matchframe to replace the audio clip. This works, but requires many steps per clip. Also, Matchframe in Premiere Pro CC is not reliable.
Introducing a new Modify Audio (from Timeline) feature as seen in the fantasy screenshot above would solve it.
I dont use Pluraleyse ...which I understand to be a synching aid...so I dont know the workflow it imposes on one .
Returning to Pluraleyes workflow, this issue is compounded by the need to Modify almost ALL audio. Every stereo track is separated and placed on two MONO tracks taking up precious real estate. This is not something Pluraleyes imposes. It is due to the way Premiere imports XML timelines. This would apply to sequences imported from Final Cut as well.
In this case it would be ideal to select both the LEFT and RIGHT mono tracks and choose "Modify > Audio Channels > Merge L/R Mono to a Single Stereo track." Ideal? No. I guess Ideal would be if Premiere would interpret XML files properly in the first place.
What actually is the issue with Premieres synch and merge workflow in your case?
Audio Sync in Premiere Pro doesn't work. Period.

Problem playing an imported flash template in dreamweaver cs5

hi,i just downloaded a flash template from flashmo.com and imported it to dreamweaver cs5 through Insert > media > SWF and it loaded. but the problem is, when i click the live view or play the file in the properties,nothing shows up.except some texts "loading XML data..."
all the flash templates i have downloaded face this prob. i have no idea where is the mistake.
what could be the problem?any help,plz.

Do you own Flash? Are you familliar with action scripts? If
not, then you
probably want to start with a plain html template and learn
how to code html
and CSS. Flash sites look nice but they are not friendly for
Search Engines
or users who don't have flash player installed on their
system.
