14.2 update - where did the right click option go ?

before the 14.2 update i was able to right click on a document title bar and get the option to duplicate, canvas size etc.
was it removed, if so why ?
please let me know if i am missing something.

so in the meantime, is there a way i can revert to 14.1.2 or anything before 14.2

Where did my right click go?

The current update took away my 'right click' function (as in Windows) on my touchpad. Is this normal. I love the right click function. I only updated in one partition. The other partition has the original upgrade and right click works fine. Can the right click function be restored in the current update(10.7.2)?

My macbook doesnt have the right click option

i've always used a mouse before but now that it broke i have to use the trackpad but when i go into its settings i dont see any options that let me use the right click, and i dont have it on because i try to right click something and it doesnt work

On Macs you right click by holding down the Control key and clicking. It's been that way since the first Macs with the single button mouse.

Where did the Empty Cache option go?

I recently did a software update for Safari and the Empty Cache option under Safari in the tool bar is no longer there. I use this ALL the time, any idea where it is?

Apparently it's been omitted from the latest Safari update however you can enable the Develop menu and clear the cache from there.
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now from the menu bar again click Develop > Empty Caches

Changing the right-click options in Bridge 7

I have PS CS6, Bridge 7, and Win 7. I recently installed a copy of PS Elements 10 which I had never used simply to help a friend who was having difficulties with the program. Now however, when I right-click on an image in Bridge the only option for "Open with" is Elements 10. Anyone know how can I get back CS6 as an option? Or even the only option?

Can't get the right-click option to work on Quicktime

While using Firefox, I right-clicked on a quicktime video/song, and a small box with options appeared. I accidentally clicked on the wrong thing and now when I right-click on a quicktime video/song nothing pops up. I tried uninstalling quicktime and reinstalling but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

Where are the right-click Finder workflows located??

When I control+click while selecting a file, I can see in the drop-down menu More: Automator a few plug in workflows.
But where is that folder located? I'm trying to alter one that resides and shows up there now (customized by a friend), but I can't locate it to open it up and alter it. Spotlight isn't finding it at all.
Any idea where that folder of plug ins resides??? thanks!

spotlight doesn't search it because system folders are excluded from searches by default. to include them, enter command+f to bring a search window, click on "Kind", scroll and click on "other". in the resulting popup select 'system files" and set to include.

Where did the change color option go it was in elements 10

In older versions of photoshop elements you could go to enhance and then at the bottom of that list you could "change color" what happened to that option? I LOVED it and used it all the time when colors did not come out correctly.

Mistakenly selected the right click in mouse settings

my son mistakenly selected the right click in the "keyboard and mouse" settings under system preferences . that means my mouse is virtually not usuable now . it doesn't allow anything to clicked using mouse . only mouse works is just to have right click option . Is there way to fix this issue by navigating thru keyboard and change the option to left click from right click. i can reach to window where i see its showing the "right click" option selected but can't do anything to change . please help. othewise i have to re-install the O/S .

i can reach to the Keyboad and Mouse Window by right clicking on the system preferences and the type the mouse and keyboard option but after that the tab does work to reach the left radio button.
i am thinking about re-installing as its look like its not that simple for me . just tell me a way to completly format it and reinstall the O/S .

Acrobat Pro 7: right click option to Open in a New Window

We are using Adobe Acrobat Pro v7, and we oftentimes like to view PDFs in separate windows. To do this, the first file can be openeb by double clicking thefile in Explorer, and for subsequent files, we just right click on the PDF and select Open in a New Window. This works perfectly fine; however, not everyone has the right click option to Open in a New Window. The DO have the same version of Acrobat, but just not this functionality. How do we go about getting this right click context added for the others? Thanks.

Converting DWF to PDF using right click option cuts off right side.

I have 24x36 dwf files that I need to convert to PDF. (Printing Landscape)
When using the right click option in explorer, "Convert to Adobe PDF", the conversion cuts off about 6" on the right side of the page.
(I can "Print" inside my DWF viewer to Adobe and it works fine and I can set my default printer to Adobe PDF and select multiple at a time and it prints fine)
I currently have Windows 7 and Acrobat XI version 11.0.06.
How do I fix this?

You might check the preferences in Acrobat and see if there are settings for DWF files.

My right-click option is not working on my click box

I created a button and applied the right-click option on it. My action is set to continue. When i publish to html my right-click does not work. it only works if you left click.
