You can't "accidentally" put a passcode on any iPhone...its a multi-step process. Further, restoring an iPhone will remove the passcode, as the passcode is not included in an iPhone backup.
Are you sure you're talking about the phone passcode & not something else...like the "Restrictions" passcode?

  • Is there a way to setup your Xbox 360 to the new MacBook Pro

I was just wondering if there was a way to setup your XBOX 360 to the new MacBook Pro? If you could give a simple answer that is simple to understand that would be great. My Xbox is connected using an HDMI but I also have a component cable.

There is no cable that would do what you want. MacBook Pro computers do not have video inputs.

Buy it for the other computer. Mountain Lion is preinstalled on the new Mac, but you can only use it in the new one

  • The Best Way to make your iPad battery last the longest!

After checking many sources and also discussions here -- this is one article that pretty much sums up the best way to make your iPad battery last the longest!
It basically comes down to JUST ONE THING (mainly) -- and that is simply REDUCING YOUR CHARGE CYCLE COUNT! And how do you do that? Well, very simply KEEP IT PLUGGED IN as much as possible. And then, doing what Apple says by doing just one full discharge - once a month.
There are about 1000 charge cycles available for the iPad, at which point you should have 80% of the battery life left. SO ... Anything you do to slow down getting to that 1000 charge cycles, makes your iPad battery last longer. Keeping it plugged in "all the time" (or, as much as possible - since it is a portable object) slows down the process of getting to that "lessening of battery capacity". It's simply all about "charge cycles" - which then translates into "reduced battery capacity".
Here's an article to pay close attention to:

  • Taking Photoshop to the Next Level

I have been learning and using Photoshop (CS 5) for several months now and having a wonderful time. In the past several months I have come to learn many features of Photoshop and continue to learn more. (Do you ever stop learning more when using Photoshop? =>  )
My question is this, are are some tips to take Photoshop to the next level? From being an advanced beginner - intermediate to being an intermediate - advanced user. I know part of this is going to be nothing but experience and time. But are there any tips to help me make that step?

I would say it would be time to take advantange of pay training video's/websites/services. I see it this way, to become a "pro" your are getting to a point mindset wise were you are thinking about making a profit. As the saying goes, "It takes money to make money" and training falls into that category as well.
Think of these pay companies as you would going to college. Yeah college is faster and more expensive, but learning on your own with some help from others can get you there, especially if you have short schedules or short on funds, they may be cheaper in the short run, but over time it just may be near the same cost since it tends to take longer(guessing).
    Night courses at your local community college is also another alternative as well as your local tech school, here in New York they are called Boards of Cooperative Educational Services {BOCES [Boe - See - z] }

It has to do with the order you enter the fields in the Business Model from Physical model! It must be the opposite way than the one you want them to be show. In your case, you must first delete both fields from your business model, then drag tham in with first the "name" field and then the "code" field.
    It did work for me!

v4 is pretty lonh in the tooth now, and GB only costs $15, so I'd think it's a good idea

the only version you can buy new is v6,a nd it should open older projects without issue ... however you could keep 4 around:

  • After Effects - What do I need to learn to get to the next level?

Hi all. I'm a designer recently dabbling in after effects and hoping to add it to my contracting arsenal. I've a (long!) background in 3d/video/general design and was wondering what are the "meat and potatoes" work you guys find yourselves doing? I'm not a total newb and I'm comfortable with the interface...But when I use after effects I use it as a glorified flash style animation/powerpoint/video editing tool and I want to move to the next level.
There are loads of resources out there - this forum, video copilot and the rest - but what kind of tasks would I be expected to do if i rock up at an agency as a contractor and tell them I'm an afx guy? Should I be looking at compositing, green screen/keying, colour correcting et al? What would you say are the five things I need to be able to do as a minimum if I want to advertise myself as a middleweight afx designer? I know its a vast program with almost limitless potential but i'm just trying to narrow things down a bit to sensibly ground myself in the software and start to really nail down some fundamentals.
I realise this is probably a frustratingly vague post but some real-world pointers from guys in the biz would be invaluable. If you were interviewing me, what would expect me to be able to do?
    Cheers guys

You said it yourself: Too wide and too far a field. If you were to do VFX, obviously rotoscoping and tracking would be more important than other stuff, if you were to get into broadcast design fast turnarounds on stylized graphics matter more. Beyond that my general observation is that most "AE artists" don't really have a handle on their workflows and from sloppy naming conventions to awkward constructs to create simple blending modes I've seen too much. In my view the latter is more important than anything else - you have to know how AE "ticks" and adapt your workflow is rather than trying to bend and mold the program. When you know that, you can do anything reasonably quickly. E.g. in my projects I've always isolated steps by using lots of pre-comps. People will then sometimes accuse me of over-structuring my stuff, but in the crunch, I only have to exchange the logo in a single comp, not delve into the other 20 again. That's the kind of stuff I always go for.

    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase a redemption code at the Online Apple Store: OS X Mountain Lion. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. Use the code to redeem a download of Mountain Lion from the App Store. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later.
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model
                 Identifier 5,1 or later.
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later.
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.

I have recently started having this problem in PSE8. The Adobe workaround
did work, but I don't fancy having to re register each time I use it.
What I have discovered is that it's nothing to do with the image metadata as it occurs before any image is opened.
It SEEMS to only occur if you use file/open with to open an image in the editor - IE start PSE with that command.
If you close elements down, and start it using programs/PSE/Elements (or your desktop shortcut) - the panorama feature magically works.
Each time I've opened the editor 'automatically' using image/open with, it seems to create the problem.
    Hope this helps

    Hi there,
Have you considered using the TDM file format instead of the LVM format? With TDM you specify parameters for your file and your channels. When you want to read data from the file you can extrac data based on those parameters. So you could construct a search that extracts the data from a particular time, or all the data that was acquired in a 10 minute period for example.
There are a few VIs you would have to become familiar with to do this (the datalog VIs are located in a palette on the File IO palette), but it would probably be easier for you to use these then to construct the file yourself and then program in all the search parameters.
Here are some resources with more information on the TDM format:
    TDM Data Format
Introduction to LabVIEW Data Storage VIs
They should help you decide if you would like to use this format or stick with the LVM format.

  • Task not forwarded to the next level

    Dear All ,
I am having an issue in SRM Shopping Cart approval workflow. The scenario is that the SC has to be approved at 3 levels and after getting approved at the first level the task does not get forwarded to the next level and its unable to fetch any , whereas there are users mainateined and i can see the approvers being fetched when I tried executing the BADI ( BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI),unfortunately this is the isolated case as its working fine for all others. I guess this rules out oll other poosiblities of agent determination logic, task's agent assignment, swu_obuf , or swi1_rule. I am sure something is wrong with the user attributes but not able to zero to the root cause. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Hi,
Search this forum for answers: SAP SRM: Workflow & User/Vendor/Org Management
Also, if you can replicate it on the dev environment.Change the WF-BATCH user temporary to dialog and place an external break-point in the badi implementation for WF-BATCH user.
Now create a shopping cart and check in debugging what causes it to not retrieve agents.
