15 minute time Limit

I am trying to record a speech of someone who talks for about 30 to 50 minutes continuously, but my Logic Express will only let me record a maximum of 15 minutes. As soon as I start recording there is a timer that pops up and counts down to 15 minutes. It is important that I do not miss any of the speech, and I know that i have enough memory, even if I have to record at 16bit 44.1K, which Ithink is the lowest I can go. MY harddrive has over 30 gigs free. Is there something I can do, or should I try to find something different to record with?

Go to Set Audio Record path, and uncheck Maximum record time. That'll give you about 71 minutes at 120 bpm. If you need more, just reduce the tempo.

  • N8 50m 52sec video time limit

Why is there a 50 minute time limit when recording in 720p? Is there any way round this limit?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Or instead of NTFS, a quick fix would be a utility that restarts the recording every 45min with say, a nice musical note. The phone could give a warning musical note/vibration 1min before restart so the videographer could choose to restart early so a critical event is not missed. Thanks Le55ons, you have answered/reminded me of old limits.

  • Short dump "Time limit exceeded" when searching for Business Transactions

    Hello Experts,
We migrated from SAP CRM 5.2 to SAP CRM 7.0. After migration, our business transaction search (quotation, sales order, service order, contract etc) ends with the short dump "Time limit exceeded" in class CL_CRM_REPORT_ACC_DYNAMIC, method DATABASE_ACCESS. The select query is triggered from line 5 of this method.
    Number of Records:
    CRMD_ORDERADM_H: 5,115,675
    CRMD_ORDER_INDEX: 74,615,914
We have done these so far, but the performance is still either poor or times out.
    1. DB team checked the ORACLE parameters and confirmed they are fine. They also checked the health of indices in table CRMD_ORDER_INDEX and indices are healthy
    2. Created additional indices on CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRMD_ORDER_INDEX. After the creation of indices, some of the searches(without any criteria) work. But it takes more than a minute to fetch 1 or 2 records
    3. An ST05 trace confirmed that the selection on CRMD_ORDER_INDEX takes the most time. It takes about 103 seconds to fetch 2 records (max hits + 1)
    4. If we specify search parameters, say for example a date or status, then again we get a short dump with the message "Time limit exceeded".
    5. Observed that only if a matching index is available for the WHERE clause, the results are returned (albeit slowly). In the absence of an index, we get the dump.
    6. Searched for notes and there are no notes that could help us.
Any idea what is causing this issue and what we can do to resolve this?
    Regards,
    Bala

    Hi Michael,
Thanks. Yes we considered the note 1527039. None of the three scenarios mentioned in the note helped us. But we ran CRM_INDEX_REBUILD to check if the table CRMD_ORDER_INDEX had a problem. That did not help us either.
The business users told us that they mostly search using the date fields or Object ID. We did not have any problem with search by Object ID. So we created additional indices to support search using the date fields.

  • SMQ2 Time limit exceeded

    Hi Experts,
IDOC to IDOC Scenarion--There are some entries in SMQ2 are showing "time limit exceeded". i tried to unlok the Queue every time i get the error and after that queue is going into Running status for some time and again it is giving the same error and status is "SYSFAIL". Queue registration is also done.we are facing this problem in production.
All other interfaces messages are processing fine except for one interface. some IDocs are processed even for the same interface. I assumed that the size of the message is large. so it is not processing, mapping step is not executed.
see the example below for one message which is not processed from XI
    <SAP:MessageSizePayload>467228</SAP:MessageSizePayload>
    <SAP:MessageSizeTotal>479041</SAP:MessageSizeTotal>
    <SAP:PayloadSizeRequest>467228</SAP:PayloadSizeRequest>
We have restarted the complete XI server after Kernal upgrade and after that we are getting this problem, can any body give me the suggestion how can we solve the problem.

    Hi
The size of the messages also not huge, we have tested it testing system and it is taking less than one minute to process the message. And we have checked at the Gate way & JCO connections are working fine. The problem is still there as i explained in my first post.
Every time it is giving time limit exceeded after unlocking the Queue.
Is there any other suggestions to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in Advance

  • Time limit exceeded in inbound qRfc

    Hi all!
Please I need your help with this timeout issue. I have the following scenario:
FTP --> XI (Java mapping) --> R3 (Idoc)
Where from that Java mapping I do some RFC's to R3 in order to make conversions and validations.
When I test this interface in development environment with a 1Mb flat file, it took 5 minutes to process. However, i did the same test in QA environment, it took pretty much more than 5 minutes and I got this "time limit exceeded" in the qRfc inbound queue (sxmb_moni t-code).
I was told that the hardware beneath development and QA are different but theorically, the later should be faster.
Anyone has any suggestion to resolve this? I will really appreciate it.
    Best regards!
    Vanesa.

  • IDoc Tracking: TIME LIMIT EXCEEDED

    Hello!
We have about 15 different R/3 platforms connected to XI using the IDoc adapter. If I use the IDoc Tracking functionality in IDX5 it usually is working fine and the IDoc number in the receiving system and IDoc status are returned within seconds.
However, for one R/3 platform it was always taking about 30 minutes until the IDoc number and IDoc status were returned. The status bar displays that the IDOC_DATE_TIME_GET function module is executed.
Now it runs for over one hour until it stops with a TIME LIMIT EXCEEDED error message and no IDoc numbers and status is returned any more. What needs to be corrected to speed up IDoc tracking for this particular system?
    Regards, Tanja

  • Size/time limit for AppleTV movie files?

Scenario: I have a few hundred iMovie projects that I want to convert to AppleTV movies. My first project was just under two hours, and it converted fine. The second project was just under three hours total (33GB .DV file), and it crashed at 99% completion on two separate tries, giving me a cryptic error message (15+ hours processing time each attempt -- aargh). I am using the latest version of QuickTime Pro to convert the projects, and not running anything else during the conversions.
Right now the only solution that seems to work is to split anything over 2 hours into two parts, which seems kind of pointless and diminishes the advantage of the whole AppleTV concept in the first place. Granted most of the projects are around 2 hours, so most of the time it won't be an issue, just on the longer iMovies.
Anyone know if there is a size/time limit to files that you can convert? Would it be better to import the .DV files into iTunes and try to convert them there instead? Or is there a way to do it from iMovie (I am using the original iMovie HD version from a few years back). Thanks.

Thanks Winston & Alley Cat for your insights -- I figured I would just do a straight QT conversion to the proper specs and did manage to find it by digging around a bit. In Export(Share) / QuickTime / Expert Settings there is a preset for AppleTV buried deep in there.
Sorry, I feel like a bonehead for not being able to locate this option earlier. I thought QuickTime Pro was one of the few apps that could only do this conversion, thinking that my version of iMovie HD (circa 2006) was too old to have the AppleTV preset. (Must have been added during one of the QuickTime updates.)
Anyways, success to report. I tried re-converting the file (2 hours 47 minutes length) and it worked this time. The total conversion time was actually quite a bit faster than QT Pro plus it takes one less step now. I don't know why it is so much faster than QT Pro, but it compressed to the right specs H.264 AAC codec and aspect ratio.
BTW, I really, really like my AppleTV. Not perfect, but it sure is cool and everyone who comes over and sees it is kind of blown away by what this little box can do.

  • Is there a time limit for a podcast to publish on iweb?

I am creating a podcast in Garageband.  I would like to do it in a series of 13 minutes for each lecture.
Is there a time limit or file size restriction to publish on my website in iweb?

I don't think so (provided you have sufficient space on your host), but to get a better answer, you should ask the question in the iWeb forum.
(this is a mirrored question, somehow it got posted twice, so if you want to respond, try responding to the other thread and let this one drop into forum oblivion..)

  • Cp4 - question pool - time limit not working

I am putting together a bunch of quiz modules & I am having so many problems with this, it's driving me crazy!
I am using question pools & I have a bunch of questions in my pool.  I am trying to edit the questions to place a time limit on each one.  When I edit the question, I choose the Options tab & select Show time out message. I then choose the Reporting tab & enter a time limit of two minutes.  Yes, the Time limit selection box is checked.
Now, when I look at my question slide - there is no time out message & when I publish my module... the question has no time limit!
The crazy thing is that I have been putting these modules together all day & this is the first one that is acting this way!  I have successfully added time limits to other quiz modules.
One thing I tried.. was to save the problem captivate file & then re-open... but when I look at each question's properties - they all have the time limit defined.  So it is saving the info, it's just not implementing it.
I'm running into all kinds of crazy problems with my question pools... (among other things, the question pools manager won't save any of my edits to the questions!)
    any advice?
    thx in advance...

Yes, I have a few threads going... I'm having a lot of problems!
The other thread that Rod is helping me with is related to a different issue.... although it's still quiz-related.
Here is a quick outline of what I'm doing here.  I have a small file that I'm using as a template.  It has 44 slides in it - 2 intro slides, 40 random quiz slides, and 2 ending slides.  I have a question pool defined that has one question slide in it - I'm just using this a placeholder for now.
So, what I'm doing is using the template file as a starting point.  I then copy/paste question slides from other captivate files into my question pool.  I am creating a master quiz based on previous quizzes.  So there are anywhere from 9-12 captivate files that I'm taking questions from and copying into my new question pool-based quiz file.  This is where things are going wacky.  The problems I'm running into are really unpredictable.
I'm thinking maybe the files that I'm taking the questions FROM might be corrupted in some way? Although, in the original files, the questions do NOT have a time limit.  This is something new I am adding after I bring them into my question pool.
I will do what you suggest... if you have any other ideas, I would surely welcome those as well!!
    Thanks Lilybiri...

  • LP7.1 Recording Audio time limit

Okay I cant seem to figure out how to increase the time limit on recording an audio track on LP7.1 . Currently when I start recording I find that I only have about 31 minutes displayed in the Remaining Time.
I look at my "set Audio Record Path" settings and see that I have Maximum Recording Time unchecked. And drive holding the Recording Path directory has 36GB of space.
Any clues how I can increase my remaining time for recording audio tracks?
    thanks in advance,
    Noah

Un-uncheck Max Rec Time and put number of minutes you want to record in the field.

When I am debugging the select query.the cursor will not go to next step.after 15-20 minutes i am getting runtime error(time limit exceeds).
how can i resolve it for that scenario??

Looks like whole SD flow you trying to fetch in single query
First you check the database statistic of these table are upto date in system ( Check with basis team )
if this query was working fine earlier.
Most of table involved are huge volume tables which queried with any primary key
Any secondary index on created for LIKP on VSTEL WADET ?
My suggestion would be split the selection queries and make use of primary or existing secondary index to fetch the desired result if possible. For testing purpose split the queries and find which is taking more time and which needs index by taking squel trace in ST05.
Also take ST05 trace of this query in debugger ( New debugger -> special tool -> trace > ST05/SE30)

  • Roll back process after certain time limit

    Hi All,
I am using Oracle 11g. I am calling one stored procedure (MainProc) from my application. Through this procedure I am calling internally three more procedure (Insert recordProc1, InsertRecordProc2 and DeleteRecProc).
The third stored procedure (DeleteRecProc) is taking more than 5 minutes. But if these process crossings more than 5 minutes, have to stop the process and roll back all three stored procedures functions.
I don’t have any commit statement inside of these stored procedures. But I have EXECUTE IMMEDIATE Inside of stored DeleteRecProc.
Help required: Help me to make a counter / Timer. I have a parameter, which has the assigned time limit. How to check whether the process crossing the time limit? How to stop the process and call Rollback?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Time Limit in SE30

    Hi Gurus,
I'm using SE30 to analyze the performance of a program. It takes more than 30 minutes for that program to finish. However, I always got a message "Could not end the measurement (Time Limit Researched)" in SE30. Anybody knows how to resolve this problem?
    Thanks
    Jerome

    Hello Jerome
The parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time restricts the maximum runtime of a dialog work process. By default it is set to 30 minutes.
You can up the limit or you might want to look into other ways preventing to reach the limit, using background process or limiting selection or cutting up measurements in parts.
    Kind regards
    Tom

  • Setting time limit on running report

Does anyone know if you can set a time limit on a report? I want a report to be canceled if it runs for more than 30 minutes. I see that you have the option in the Queue Manager when creating a job, but I want it to happen for my web-based reports...

You can count the numer of times something occurs and use that as a condition to stop things.  How you go about stopping things depends on how your animation is set up.  If it is a straight timeline animation, you would just use a stop(); command.
