What version of Photoshop? And do you have your serial number? Can you, or have you already, deactivate(d) your previous installation?
If you registered Photoshop, you should find both a download link and your serial number, by logging on to your Adobe account. Otherwise, you can DL most versions from Prodesigntools. Look on the right of the page a wee bit down, for other versions.

Question Photoshop 150.30 error code

After an Apple meltdown when installing Maverick, I tried re installing from Time Machine my previous settings. Everthing works OK apart from Photoshop which shows an 150.30 error code.

150:30 error code is a licensing issue, often following a failed transfer of the software.
Adobe software does not like being transferred.
I suggest you uninstall then reinstall from scratch.

When I turned on my laptop this morning the right 1/3 of the screen was black with red and multicolored lines, I had to reduce my window view to see the document I was looking at. I rebooted several times and ran the hardware test recommended. The results indicated an error, the code: 4sns/1/40000001: IDOR-0.000. Can anyone decipher the code and tell me what is wrong?

That error code indicates a DC current anomaly. A visit to an Apple store genius bar is your best option. They should be able to specifically isolate the problem and and advise you of your options.

I thought it may be related to spaces in the path in which the script was called from. I tried having the ODBC command script in another directory but the same thing happens. It will give me the "CONFIGSYSDSN: Unable to create a data source for the 'Oracle in OraClient10g_home1' driver: Could not load the setup or translator library with error code -2147467259". As soon as the script is done running I can manually double click the script and it adds the DSN fine.

Extreme Fan Speed (Error Code: 4SNS/1/40000000:Tp0P-131.000)

My 20" 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Aluminum iMac was purchased on 3/21/08 and it was perfect up until about the end of November. Now upon immediate boot up the CPU fan runs up to 3500 rpm for no apparent reason. At first this problem would only happen every now and then, but now it does it every single time. I've tried several things like reseting the PRAM and the SMC and that would work at first, but that doesn't do anything now. I ran the Apple Hardware Test and I got an error code (4SNS/1/40000000:Tp0P-131.000) when the fan was running at 3500 rpm, but when I ran the Apple Hardware Test when the fan was running at normal speed no error code came up. I recently took my iMac to an Apple Store and they looked at it and kept it for about a week and they said they could not find anything wrong with it and told me it was "normal" for the fans to speed up every now and then when it needs to cool down, but why would it need to cool down when I just booted it up and have no applications running? They told me that it could be a logic board problem or fan problem and they ordered the parts, but did not replace anything due to them not being able to find a problem. This problem has become extremely annoying cause the fan is quite loud and I absolutely loved the silence of the iMac when it was brand new. I don't have AppleCare, but my iMac is still under the 1 year warranty and I'm starting to feel that the only way Apple will do anything about this problem is if I purchase AppleCare. So has anyone else encountered this problem and if you have were you able to get it taken care of cause I'm getting extremely tired of this fan noise and I'm in desperate need of a solution.

I gave them the error code when I took it in and they just kind of shrugged it off and days later they called saying they ran several extended tests and were not able to detect anything wrong or reproduce my problem, but I remember the guy at the Genius Bar was able to reproduce the problem.

Is Yahoo your Internet provider? Do you have a local provider? ei:AT&T, SBC, cable co, check who you make your check or epatment to...etc, If so I would start there, but if no joy go to the "Mothership"
I may be wrong about this, (it's been a long time now) I may have deleted my mail account from Mail (after writing down all the info from all General/accounts, and the rest of the tabs, and then added a new account using my existing email address, and it may have "walked me thru the rest of the proceedure".
But like I said it was a long time ago 3-4 years, but that may have been the path I ended up taking, make sure to write all the info down in case you need to re-enter it all manually. Then try calling them.

Hi i am trying to burn an mp3 cd but i keep getting the error code 1771 and the disc ejects from the drive??

i have tried different things but as yet i havent found a complete solution.i have ran diagnostics, the optic drive seems fine.i can burn some cd's but not others.i would just like to know what is the EXACT criteria for a successful burn..is it to do with characters ?,!/ etc or is it to do with folder location.any advice or help/direction would be greatly appreciated...

Error code could not record disc

HELP!!!I've attempted to burn a dvd several times using iMovie to capture video and iDvd to burn it. It takes 5-6 hours to burn then i get a window that says OS stopped responding. If attempt to burn the capture using roxio titanium toast 6 it takes several hours to attempt to burn then i get a message that says "could not record disc becuase of Mac OS error result code= -39. Does anyone have any idea what this means? and i am using a 3rd party DVD burner that's hooked up to the USB port.

Did you partition and format the flash drive first? See the following:
Make Your Own Mavericks, Mountain/Lion Installer
After downloading the installer you must first save the Install Mac OS X application. After the installer downloads DO NOT click on the Install button. Go to your Applications folder and make a copy of the installer. Move the copy into your Downloads folder. Now you can click on the Install button. You must do this because the installer deletes itself automatically when it finishes installing.
2. Get a USB flash drive that is at least 8 GBs. Prep this flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
After DU loads select your flash drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the leftside list. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list.
Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to an hour depending upon the flash drive size.
Make your own Mavericks flash drive installer using the Mavericks tool:

You will need a freshly partitioned and formatted USB flash drive with at least 8GBs. Leave the name of the flash drive at the system default, "Untitled." Do not change this name. Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. Copy this command line after the prompt in the Terminal's window:
sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app --nointeraction
Press RETURN. Enter your admin password when prompted. It will not be echoed to the screen so be careful to enter it correctly. Press RETURN, again.
Wait for the process to complete which will take quite some time.

I'm using Elements 8. and keep getting a 150:30 code. I've tried the online communities suggestions, but am still unresolved. Does anyone have a suggestion?

After reading the 10 pages of the Apple link and trying almost everything except adding a new account in the System Preferences, I went to Staples and bought a new box of Staples brand DVD+Rs and came home and tried them and they worked fine. I also changed the System Preferences for CDs and DVDs to just "Open Finder" instead of "Ask What to Do" - so I now bypass that dialogue box because I noticed when I burned a CD I never got that question and had NO TROUBLE burning a CD throughout this entire process. And now I seem to have no problem burning DVDs either....
The DVDs I bought were only 4X (burn speed) - kinda low number but that was also mentioned above. Whatever, after several days trying to figure out why I could burn CDs but not DVDs, my problem seems to be solved.

I just dropped my MacBook Pro "17 i5 500GB 4G RAM (2010 Model) about 3 feet from a chair on to the floor of my house (hard wood flooring), unfortunately.
Everything seems to work well but I went and did a hardware check, but Pressing "D" at startup, I got this error:

What does this mean?

Is it a serious issue? Because when I run the hardware test, it only gives me this error in the short test NOT extended test.
