16:9 - HOW to generate automatic 16:9 playback on widescreen

I've done numerous tests - Trying to make my DVD playback on a widescreen TV set to be automatic. I've seen many "hollywood titles", where my TV system switches automatically to "Wide", but when I start to play my own DVDSP disc, it is being displayed as 4:3 letterboxed, with "curtains" to the left and right.
I encode my video as 16:9 using compressor. Could this be the problem? Should I instead encode it as 4:3 keeping it anamorph, and just click "16:9 letterbox" on the track I insert the file to? At the moment I also click "16:9 letterbox" - But the file I import is, as mentioned, 16:9 encoded, which means that it's not anamorph any longer. The size is 720 x 404.
Any help on how to make playback on widescreen TV sets as good as possible - To avoid forcing the viewer to having to adjust the "wide" setting themselves?

Well, I'd be interested to know the actual titles as well, but I can tell you that in all likelihood, this comes down to the difference between Letterboxed and Anamorphic flavors of widescreen. If the "TV type" setting on your DVD player is set to 4:3, letterboxed material will be shown as a 4:3 image including the black bars at the top and bottom, plus black or grey areas at the sides of this squarish image. Anamorphic video is handled differently, so even if you try to tell your DVD player that your widescreen set is a standard 4:3, the anamorphic content should still display correctly. One source of confusion is that letterboxed and anamorphic video are both displayed with black bars at the top and bottom on standard TV sets. The difference is that with letterboxed material, the width of the image is the same as 4:3 material, whereas anamorphic material is stretched across the display to preserve the original aspect ratio. Because of this, anamorphic content is going to look fine on a widescreen TV even though you tell the player it's connected to a 4:3. I have seen a standard set actually force anamorphic video to 4:3, but that's the exception rather than the rule.

SPRO-MM-CBP-Plant Parameter->>maintain for particular plant
Material master: Maintain MRP views with required MRP Type, MRP Controller, Lot size, Flag Auto PO
Vendor master: Flag Auto PO
Info record (Must) / Soure list (Preferred)
1. MD21 - Planning file concept : where you can see the list of material required to plan for procurement.
2. MD03 - Run MRP . Production oder or Purchase Requisition will be created
3. ME57 - Assign Souce & process PR
4. ME59n - Auto PO created from PR
Note: if we maintain sourcelist with MRP indicator, we can avoid transaction ME57n.

Segment SE - How to generate automatically for EDI_4010_850

As part of EDI_4010_850 (PO) XSD, the segment SE is mandatory and has following two elements:
SE01 - Element-96 (Total number of segments included in a transaction set, including ST and SE segments)
SE01 - Element329
In a scenario wherein, we are sending an XML file to B2B through BPEL Process and having B2B generate an 850 EDI file for us.
Would like yo know do we have to count the number of segments for SE01 in BPEL process manually or is there a way to get it calculated automatically.

In your Mapper, assign SE01 with macro "#SegmentCount#", B2B will replace this macro with actual count.
You can also count in BPEL and assign it to SE01

My customer wants that the inventory item code be generated automatically based on its description. The code should have:
- 3 first characters of the description
- A sequential increased number, to make the code unique.
e.g. the item called "Petrol" should have the code "pet004".
To achieve this, I have created a database procedure. So the user that works in "Item Master" form, will fill out "description" field and the "Item" field should be automatically populated based on the return value of this procedure.
Is there any way how to achieve this through personalization?
Or, is there any standard way that Oracle offers for automatic generation of item codes?

One of the guidelines when selecting column for a primary key is:
Choose a column whose data values are never changed. A primary key value is only used to identify a row in the table, and its data should never be used for any other purpose. Therefore, primary key values should rarely or never be changed.

Try with this option,
Check the copying riutines
Go to transaction VTFL then select your document types then go in to the details of the copy control settings at header level and itemlevel here check the copying routines and logic in volved in those routines.
As per standard these are copying routines should be
At header level.
003-Header/dlv.-related
At itemlevel
004 - Deliv-related item
007 - Inv.Split (Rec/Div)

When I create a Shopping Cart (SC), in "Source of Supply" tab I can select a contract as source of supply.
How I can automatically generate a purchase order (PO) with contract data (vendor, price, etc.)? So that the operational purchaser does not have to enter the system to generate the PO.
In ERP (ECC 6.0) exists ME59N transaction, is there something similar in SRM?
The system is:
Component software: SRM_SERVER
Release: 700
Level: 0008
Support package: SAPKIBKV08

Hi,
Like ME59, there is no option available to create a PO automatically in SRM. If you want you can achieve this in 3 ways.
1. Creating SC Via CATALOGS ( In this case after approval PO will be created directly and most of the cases PO will be transferred to ECC i.e in SRM that will be in ordered status.
2. You can select the sourcing relevant indication as 'Never Carried out' (Here if you created a SC without source of supply then all such SC's will be converted into Save status PO's.
3. Do the modification in DOC_CHECK_BADI to force all SC converting to PO.
However in Case 2 & 3, still buyer's team manual intervention will be more, then need to update the PO with source of supply.
