17 admin users please

Hi I'd like 17 admin users for a current site please.
A client has paid for 5 admin users, full year in advance.
Requires an additional 12 users, JUST SO his people can receive attachments in workflow notifications.
In my portal I am only offered upgrade to 5 extra users.
Please get accounts to contact me tout suite.
PS : worked it out at $1632 a year for 17 admin users. I see you've increased the price of additional admin users. Sneaky wee price increase show price per 2 weeks when it was previously per month.

Hi Liam
we have a recruitment website with a vacancy web app. Each job (web app item) has one consultant tied to that job, so only that consultant is notified when someone applies for that job.
We've tried the method you suggest (I think) (see attached) for a non admin user but they receive web form notifications without the CV attachment included.

Is this what you meant ?

I'm going to assume that since you deleted your hard drive and all its files, you had a backup, yes? If the backup has an OS (bootable clone), then you can boot into it by holding down the option key when you start up you iMac and choose the backup drive. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to copy the files back to your iMac.

I got the error as below:
The provided entry cn=oimuser,cn=Root DNs,cn=config cannot be added because its suffix is not registered with the network group network-group
Would you please advise how I can fix that? Thanks

I got the reason. cn=config is an administrative suffix.
In general, direct LDAP access to the administrative suffixes (using
the ldap* utilities) is discouraged. In most cases, it is preferable
to use the dedicated administrative command-line utilities to access
    these suffixes.
If you must use the ldap* commands to access the administrative
suffixes, you must use the administration connector port (with the
    --useSSL or -Z option).
It works when I use the command:
        ./ldapmodify -h localhost -p 4444 -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w Oracle123 --defaultAdd -Z --filename admin.ldif
    You can verify it by:
        ./ldapsearch -h localhost -p 4444 -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w password --useSSL -b "cn=root DNs,cn=config" "cn=oimuser"

  • How to allow access to winrs for non-admin user?

I have Windows Server 2012 (and Server 2008, but it is next priority) to monitor it using txwinrm. txwinrm library internally is using WinRS protocol. I have to monitor it using least privileged user, but don't know how to configure access for him.
All I managed to do - is to configure remote Powershell session for my user, but it's look like that winrs and powershell sessions have different security descriptors:
    Invoke-Command -ComputerName 192.168.173.206 -Credential (credential Administrator $pwd) -ScriptBlock { 2 + 2}
    # gives 4
    Invoke-Command -ComputerName 192.168.173.206 -Credential (credential lpu1 $pwd) -ScriptBlock { 2 + 2}
    # gives 4
    winrs -r:192.168.173.206 -u:Administrator -p:$pwd 'powershell -command "2+2"'
    # gives 4
    winrs -r:192.168.173.206 -u:lpu1 -p:$pwd 'powershell -command "2+2"'
    # Gives Winrs error: Access is denied.
Configuration for my user is following:
    (Get-Item WSMan:\localhost\Service\RootSDDL).value
    # O:NSG:BAD:P(A;;GA;;;BA)(A;;GA;;;S-1-5-21-3231263931-1371906242-1889625497-1141)S:P(AU;FA;GA;;;WD)(AU;SA;GWGX;;;WD)
    (Get-PSSessionConfiguration -name Microsoft.Powershell).SecurityDescriptorSddl
    # O:NSG:BAD:P(A;;GA;;;BA)(A;;GA;;;S-1-5-21-3231263931-1371906242-1889625497-1149)S:P(AU;FA;GA;;;WD)(AU;SA;GXGW;;;WD)
(In each security descriptor my user is given general access to protected object).
So what security descriptor should I set to make my winrs query work for non-admin user?

    Hi Bunyk,
I can not recreate the erroe you posted, and please also post the screenshoot in your convenience.
I tested with a non-domain user but has the local admin permission of the remote computer, and this worked, before running the remote cmdlet in powershell, I also configured the TrustedHosts.
In addition, the access denied could be also caused to the Protocol Filtering on the remote server, for more detailed information, please refer to this thread:
    winrs error:access is denied
    I hope this helps.

  • Why can't I access folders on my external hard drive when I am an admin user?

    Early 2011 15" MacBook Pro
    2GHz Intel Core i7
    Lion
I have a 2TB external hard drive connected to my Airport Extreme that I use to save all of my files.  Both my user profile & my wife's are admin users, however she cannot access the external drive at all.  It has a red circle with a white line through it when you look at it on finder & none of the folders are listed to change permissions under her login.
When I go to finder under my login, I have selected Read & Write permission for "everyone", but she still cannot access the drive.  When I attempt to add permission for her user profile specifically, I am told "The name you entered isn't valid.  Please try again"
    Help!

Thanks everyone. I suppose I'll just reformat for Apple. I need to use it for large files, and I suppose I could survive without editing ablities on Windows.
There's another alternative, format it as exFat, 4G limit does not apply and OSX + Windows will be able to read/write.

  • Weblogic admin user password change w/o disrupting existing users

    Hi Folks,
As a business policy we need to change the password of the admin user in weblogic after a cycle of specific period.
Please let us now how can we do that without losing the other existing users in 'my realm.'
I understand that we can use the weblogic.utils.security.AdminAcoount utility to give the new password, which will create a new DefaultAuthenticatorInit.ldift file in +<domain-home>/security+ folder (according to Doc ID 1082299.1).
The password will change but the users in 'my realm' will be lost. (there are many users and it is a production environment so recreation is out-of- question)
Is there a way we can retain the users and still proceed with the password change?
    Cheers,
    Jeegar

    Hi Jeegar,
This can be doen by followin the standard procedure by login to console and navigate to :-
DOMAIN_STRUCTURE--->Security Realm--->myrealm--->Users and Groups---->User tab click on the user weblogic
--click on the password tab and put the new password there and save (password is changed for the user here)
---Logout from the console and login to the console again using the new password
But when the server starts it do not read the password for the user directly from the realm rather it picked the same from the $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/AdminServer/security/boot.properties
Now in order to make this change available when the server starts change the values for the username and password in boot.properties and specify them in plain-text and save the same.
Now next time whenever the server will start it will pick up the new values from the boot.properties and once the same had been accepted those will be encrypted again.
You might have to make the change for the boot.properties for all the Managed Server if you have the Managed Servers in the domain which will be located at the location $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/<<Managed Server Name>>/data/nodemanager/boot.properties
You can test the steps on some lower environment first and try the same in Critical environment once the testing goes successful.

    Vijay

  • MultiSim 9.0.41. Non-admin users unable to launch program without error messages.

I have installed MultiSim 9.0.41 has been installed on four workstations. The PCs reside within a local domain with ten users. The domain resides within the greater university domain, is technically not configured as a true subdomain, but it has access to university domain resources (such as the license server). We have SSO (remote profiles) functionality enabled.
MultiSim runs with without problems for admin users. We start having issues with nonadmin users. I series of pop-up messages appear when the program is launched:
"The Microsoft Jet database engine can not open the file C:\Program Files\Electronics Workbench\EWB9\database\mscomp_s.prd. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data."
"The Microsoft Jet database engine can not open the file C:\Program
    Files\Electronics Workbench\EWB9\database\CPCOMP_S.PRJ. It is already
opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its
    data."
    "Error loading library C:\Program
Files\Electronics Workbench\EWB9\PCBComponentEdit.dll, ('998') Invalid access to memory location."
"The Microsoft Jet database engine can not open the file C:\Program
    Files\Electronics Workbench\EWB9\database\mscomp_s.prd. It is already
opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its
    data. Error Code:3051"
    Solutions attempted (without success):
    - Update program (no updates found via update manager or NI site)
    - Run program as admin
    - Give all users full permissions to program files (major security risk)
    - Change "Directory for EWB Shared Components" to public shared drive. Interestingly, MultiSim shows the network drive as unwritable (though it clearly is).
Any ideas? Are there updates that fix this issue? Is this solved by the newest version? What do I need to do differently to ensure that user config files are saved in their roaming profiles vs. locally (note: I have already tried to correct the paths during install and post-install without success).
    Thanks!
Message Edited by refriend on 05-22-2008 02:26 PM

    Hi Refriend,
The error message indicates Multisim is not able to read/write to the database folder.  Please have a look at the following knowledge base article for instructions to correct the database problem.
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B06773CE511C7E588625720B00502B8E
Multisim 9, you need to setup the permission for the database manually but in version 10, this step is not required.  As for saving user config file as part of the roaming profile, this option is not available.  Multisim will always look in the locale drive for the config file and if one does not exist it will create one for that user and save it locally.

  • What is the "admin" user in EAS Console?

I am still relatively new to Planning and Essbase.   I am trying to figure out the relevance of "admin" user in the Essbase Administration Console.  My colleague and I have seen several instances of this admin user in EAS console but it doesn't appear to represent a "live" user.  We have also seen references to "admin@native directory" in the Essbase and EssbaseODL logs.  In the last couple of days, we were unable to run a script that automatically backs up a database because this admin user was performing a spreadsheet operation. We were able to successfully force the admin account off via the console but we know for a fact that no one else is logged in.
Below are excerpts from the Essbase log.  Please see the text in red.
Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Admin user is a administrator user or a super user in essbase .Admin user has full permission to access the entire system  which includes all users and groups.Admin user has the rights to create users Perform dataloads, write and execute calculations, delete users
In your log i can see admin user was active and doing some operations. EPM11hypplan user has forced admin user logout of server.I guess you have set up EPM11hypplan user which has same privilege of admin user to run process. Also check if any particular job process is run via admin id .

  • InDesign crashing on startup with upgrade to Yosemite -only on main admin user- MacBook Pro 2011

Hi, I have been reading forums about similar issue but not able to solve my issue.
    1.) Installed Yosemite 1x
2.) Indesign CS5 crashed on Launch (Photoshop and Illustrator opened fine)
a.) So I upgraded to CC
3.) Indesign CC also crashed on launch(Photoshop and Illustrator opened fine)
4.) Spent hours on chat support with Adobe -
a.) They cleared out many old files (preferences etc) -
b.) We uninstalled Adobe CC and used the Adobe CC Cleaner tool and Re-installed.  Still did not open.
5.) Tried to open InDesign CC in newly created second admin User account.  Opened fine!
a.) So it is only crashing in my main user account.
b.) Adobe determined they could not help me and told me I had to contact apple support (have not done yet)
6.) Re-installed Yosemite from thumb drive I had created as installer- seemed to install fine and fixed a minor problem I have had with Mac Mail.
What do I need to do?  Is there some way to clean up the User account so this will open?

Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account.  Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.
Safe Mode - Mavericks   also Yosemite
If it works in the Safe Mode, reboot and test. If it still doesn't work, try running this program and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read.

    suresh.m2015,
It's going to be impossible for anyone in this forum to help with your issue if you don't provide any more detail about your environment and Apex installation. However, from your post it looks like the Apex database objects are missing or invalid.
Did you follow the Apex installation guide step by step? For example, did you run apexins.sql?
It's important to follow the documentation. The script you are running to change the admin user password should not be run until after the Apex installation is complete.

  • When trying to log in as the Admin user, get "error on page"

Hi gurus, I am brand new on this new product. Yesterday I just downloaded the latest Apex (2.2) and installed it successfully by following the instuctions (for I got these two lines in the install log: Thank you for installing Oracle Application Express.
Oracle Application Express is installed in the FLOWS_020200 schema.
). I have got two problems. First, when I try to log in as the Admin user, and as soon as I start typing the user name and password on the logon page, I see "error on page" at the very lower left corner of the browser (IE 6). So I can not log in. Second, the Oracle HTTP server takes up almost 100% of my CPU (by itself, the 10g instance does not take up any noticeable CPU if I am not doing anything, but the HTTP server keeps the CPU busy all the time no matter what).
What did I do wrong? Please help me. Thanks a lot.
    Ben

    Hello user526627 and all,
I also have installed apex 2.2 successfully. At least I've not found any errors and this is the tail of install.log:
Thank you for installing Oracle Application Express.
Oracle Application Express is installed in the FLOWS_020200 schema.
The structure of the link to the Application Express administration services is as follows:
    http://host:port/pls/apex/apex_admin
The structure of the link to the Application Express development interface is as follows:
    http://host:port/pls/apex
    timing for: Upgrade
    Elapsed: 00:00:00.12
    JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES: 10
    Completing registration process.
    Validating installation.
    timing for: Validate Installation
    Elapsed: 00:03:18.10
    timing for: Complete Installation
    Elapsed: 00:38:11.54
Interesting thing is that I am getting 404 when I use suggested http://host:port/pls/apex/apex_admin or http://host:port/pls/apex (I am using host name of the machine or ip address). However the http://host:port/pls/htmldb/ and http://host:port/pls/htmldb/apex_admin works (at least, I am getting a page without images). In addition, when I provide user name and password on the http://host:port/pls/htmldb/apex_admin page and click on 'Login' nothing happens... :(
This is a clean install. I've also used a HTMLDB 2.0 install from companion cd (Oracle10g R2 for Windows) - this had worked ok, however it did stop working when I istalled apex 2.2 on top of it. I've dropped flow-schemas and tablespaces I've created for apex 2.2 install and started the install over again. However, still no luck. Here is the command I am using to start apex 2.2 installation:
    @apexins ********** htmldb_data htmldb_files htmldb_temp /i/ none
I have installed oracle http server in a standalone home, the http server works.
    Thank you for your time,
    Daniel

  • Acrobat 9 pro and Admin user/password

Every time Acrobat 9 pro on my Mac (OSX 10.6.1) is launched it sakes for my admin user/password. If I enter the info in every time I launch Acrobat 9 pro admin it works, but the next time I login with my network user account Acrobat 9 pro want the admin user/password again.  What might be causing Acrobat 9 pro to want admin user/password.

If, as it it says on top of the page, the question is "possibly answered", the "1 correct answer" is not shown.  The mystery and annoyance remains.
Acrobat 9 Pro (installed as part of CS4 Design Standard by the same admin user that now wants to use it, OSX 6.7) asks for my password every time I start it:  "Type your password to allow Adobe Acrobat Pro to make changes."  The only necessary change that I see is upgrading back to version 8, which didn't suffer from this bug.
When I click cancel (twice – the window returns once.), I'm told that "Adobe Acrobat could not install correctly.  An invalid password or user name was entered.  Adobe Acrobat will now quit."
To repeat it, Acrobat is already installed, and I've entered the username-password combination several times correctly to use the software, but it's not acceptable to do that every time in all eternity.  Please, Adobe, fix this quickly or give solution if one exists.

  • Generic Object Services - View Attachments disabled for non admin user

    Hi,
I am using SAP 4.7 and the attachments created using table TOA01 - archive link are visible to an administrator user through Generic Object Services toolbox while same View Attachments option appears disabled for other non admin users.
    Kindly help !

    Hi Neha,
I'm sorry I don't have answer to your question but I wonder if you could help me.
I'm looking at OSS note 530792 to configure GOS 'create attachment' option to copy the attachments to the archive server. currently, these are written to the SAP office tables SOC3, SOFFCONT1, etc and I want to use the archivelink and SAPHTTP and copy to the archive storage.
Have you successfully managed to configure your system since you mentioned TOA01?
In the same GOS menu I've activated the 'Business document' option and can copy these to the archive server by correctly configuring OAC2 and OAC3.
I'll really appreciate of you could please share your knowledge.
    Thanks.
