-18002 error after Labview 7.1.1 upgrade

Hi All,
It seems like LV 7.1.1 upgrade is very dangerous when you use with Teststand. The existing system runs fine with LV 7.0 and TS 3.1. Now we have upgraded to LV 7.1.1. The LabVIEW adapter was set as LV 7.0 runtime engine previously. Now I could see only LV 7.0 and LV 7.1 even after I upgraded to LV 7.1.1. I have mass compiled my source code folder and also LV 7.1 folder. But I couldn’t see LV 7.1.1 listed in the runtime engine adapter list.
I could see some support link which explains about the registry changes (copying LV 7.1 (runtime) key to LV 7.1.1 (runtime)).  After doing so, I could see LV 7.1.1 in the adapter list. But then it is of No use. As even if I select the LV 7.1.1 runtime engine as my adapter, it changes back to LV 7.1 run time engine (when I check the adapter option again). It gives error when we run with LV 7.1 runtime engine.
I have attached the sample error message!
Thank you,
Sasi

Hi DWeiland and Schwede,
Thanks for your replies. Yes I did the runtime engine registry change and also mass compiled the LV7.1 folder and my sourcecode. I still see the problem as I have set the LV adapter as Lv 7.1.1 runtime engine. Now I have changed it to LV7.1 development system. With this setting, it is not giving any error. Thus I don’t see any problem now. The older version of the code had the adapter as the runtime engine for some reason, now I have changed the setting to the development system. I hope that it shouldn’t be a problem.
Thanks again!
Thank you,
Sasi

Hi guys after the install of some upgrade i can t access to my SharePoint site and i recive this error

    Any idea?

Microsoft has started pushing security updates for SharePoint along with windows update. If you are using automated patching tool , then you should be aware of this. Same thing happened to me. Our automated tool pushed through patches for share point security
update that needed SP1 as pre-requisite and our environment didnt have that. So it broke everything in all farms, 5 farms broken all together. What you can do is try to install any new security update . This will restart all the process of patching and make
    your farm accessible.
I opened up a support ticket with microsoft so August security update broke my farm so just to fix it i had to install may security update for the shake of restarting the  whole prcoess. If fixed the farm. I eventually ended up installing SP1 any way
since security update introduces office 365 tab in central admin and it was broken due to lack of SP1.
    hope this helps.

  • Kernel Power error after Win 7 and RAM upgrade

    Hello,
I posted earlier on the subject of win7 and ram upgrades.  I did both and it seemed to go fine.  I did the ram first ... replaced a 667Mhz 1gb with a 800Mhz 2gb.  A couple of days later the computer just shut itself down and restarted.  Since then it has done it another 5 times, seemingly at random.  Yesterday I decided to spend some time looking into it and found the 'event log'.  All the shutdowns are recorded as 'critical'.  A search on the web/here showed other occurences of the fault associated with drivers as much as anything.
After I did the win update I did update almost every driver with ones from this site.
Other than the shutdowns the only issues I have which are of very mild concern are the length of time the fingerprint reader takes to be present and that occasionally the cursor is unavailable for about a minute after logging on. When you try and control it it jumps about anywhere but where you want it to go.   I rolled back the alps driver and that seems to have sorted the cursor issue.
So, details of the shutdown from the event log are as follows.

There's more (I've shown it all below) but it's not that important.  When I looked into it I found details of the problem on the microsoft knowledge base.  Its described here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504.
I believe I fit into scenario 3 for cause and resolution.
So, it seems that win7 and mixed speed ram may be a problem on some computers ... probably only a tiny number, but it looks like the HP3507 is one of them.  I did see somewhere that I could down speed from 667 to 266 which might help with memory compatability but I can't see anywhere on the the insydeH20 bios where to do it.  BIOS is version F18 .... upgraded from F15 as part of the Win7/RAM ugrade.
Before I swap back to the 'old' memory I'll see if anybody here can come up with any ideas.  It may be that I have to sell off the expensive 2gb memory (ddr2 800mhz 200 pin) for £39.99 from maplin at a bargain price and get 2gb of 667Mhz from somewhere.
The full 'detail' regarding the fault is below.
    Bye for now.

  • Netflix Silverlight 2103 error after Firefox 3.6.15 upgrade, but IE remains fine, reinstall of Silverlight made no difference

Within the last week, Firefox automatically upgraded itself to v. 3.6.15. Netflix started reporting a Silverlight 2103 error. I followed the Netflix instructions to uninstall Silverlight, then let Netflix reinstall Silverlight, which it did according to the Netflix instructions. MSIE continues to be able to play Netflix instant-view movies, even after the uninstall/reinstall of Silverlight.
Did something break as of 3.6.15?
Netflix reports that this particular combo is not a known issue and they have opened a case based on my report. I wonder if other users are silently switching to a different browser without reporting it...?
Thanks for any ideas or solutions.

The Netflix supervisor I spoke to today finally confirmed that it is a known condition. But he said Netflix can't contact Mozilla, only Microsoft since Silverlight is Microsoft's product (even though it seems to be a Firefox change at issue, not Silverlight breakage).
The suggestion from Netflix is to switch to an earlier (and less secure) version of Firefox, or change browsers entirely to MSIE or Chrome. Please someone on the Firefox dev team check into this so Firefox doesn't lose market share to other browsers over this.

  • BPM error after PI 7.31 SP12 upgrade

We have a bpm scenario where we send a request to a web server and it sends a response message if successful request is sucessfuly processed (synchronous) or else sends us a fault message saying the server is busy at that time.
Now this scenario was working fine before the upgarde, however in the upgarded environment we get an error message:

    Opened message with SAP.
    SAP's response:
Thanks for XPI inspector traces. We have analyzed and found that
NPE(NullPointerException) is happening while converting the SOAP fault
into an Application fault. We have also gone through the
implementation part. It looks like the variable 'xer' is not properly
handled. Hence we are planning to fix it. So we will get back to you
with an update on this soon. Hope this is fine with you.
Will keep you all posted with SAP's response.

Error after 10.7.4 Lion Upgrade to iMac
Computer's local host name .......is already in use on this network.  the name has been changed to........
and it keeps adding up the number each time I wake the iMac.
What to do to get it back before upgrade error?

Ok worth repeating, hope this works.  Finally spoke to AppleCare Support and walked me thru following...restart computer holding down "command" and "option" keys at the same time with letters "P" and "R" when computer turns on.  This is what he called a PR restart, clears out discrepancies in memory (if that is what the error message actually is).  Then went to Systems Preferences/Network/Sharing and deleted the number that kept increasing every time MAC would wake up.
Even tho this was just done, I am hopeful that error pop-up won't happen again.  Fingers crossed!

  • Error after update : "Method 'Upgrade' does not have an implementation"

    Hello,
After installing the last Updates for my SharePoint Farm 2013, I ran into an issue. When I try to connect to the site, I get this error :
    Method 'Upgrade' in type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowServices.WorkflowServiceApplicationProxy'

And there is a lot of strange behaviours within my farm. I cannot run a psconfig, the services FIMService
and FIMSynchronizationService cannot start, I can see the category "Office 365" in Central Administration but I have a SharePoint Server 2013, not online or any 365 thing... And I cannot uninstall previous SharePoint Updates...
    Any idea ?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Hi Mike,
If you are using SharePoint 2013 Server edition, please re-download the
SharePoint Server 2013 SP1(KB2880552) instead of SharePoint Foundation version, then install it on the server and check results again, here is another post with similar
issue you can take a look.

  • NI-DMM Error after Labview7.1 upgrade

I have upgrade my software to Labview 7.1 and now I have big problems with the control of NI-DMM 4060.See attached file. First time I can control my DMM, but after that I got problems with the external code called by a Call Library Node. What can I do to solve this problem. I have tried to reinstall Labview without success

    errors.doc ‏35 KB

    Hey scientist,
Are you using anything related to GPIB/Serial? You posted the question talking about the NI-488 error, but really I think the error you are receiving is more pertinent to the LabVIEW: File not found error. Errors in LabVIEW generally have two possible causes - one is what the error means if LabVIEW caused it, the other is what it means if it was related to the NI-488.2 driver.
So you get a file not found error anytime you try and open any (????) file in LabVIEW 6.1? Does that mean when you try and open a VI in 6.1, or when you use a File I/O VI inside of a 6.1 VI? Can you open that same file up using LabVIEW 7.0 and 7.1? What is the type of file that you are trying to open, and where is it located?

  • Startup open ORA_12514 error after Shutdown, just upgraded 9i to 10g

    Hi,
Noobe here, again! Cheers and happy New Year to all!
How should I edit script to start db that has been shutdown prior to backup?
We are having a problem with backups, failure is occurring executing SQL*Plus startup after shutdown. I successfully upgraded our 9i to 10g, 10.2.0.5.0 on Windows server 2003, 32-bit. We have a back_script.bat that runs all this, the only edits that I had to make within this were the names for the new Oracle services, but that is not a problem. When I run through the actions in the batch file, it fails at the sql>startup open; action, throws the error "ORA-12514 TNS:listener does not currently nkow of service requested in connect descriptor" What is different here between 9i and 10g that now this doesn't work? By commenting out the line calling our oracle_stop_start.sql I am getting successful >exp dumps, but there could be processes running 'cause I'm not stopping everything before proceeding with the export.
I have a complete image of the physical server running in a virtual that I am able to test on. Hopefully I'll not put too much info in here, but here is some background! Both the batch file and little stop_start script predate my involvement.
Here are the pertinent statements in our backup_script.bat:
    SET NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8
    SET ORACLE_SID=wind
net stop Windchill3_MethodServer (the third party application that uses the database wind)
    sqlplus "system/manager@wind as sysdba" @D:\ptc\windchill\backups\oracle_stop_start
    exp system/manager@wind owner=guest file=......\oracle_backup.dmp.....etc, etc, etc
    Here is oracle_stop_start.sql
    shutdown immediate;
    startup open;
    quit
As stated earlier, this has worked at least since 2007 when the last edits were made to the batch file. Now it fails at the sql>startup open; throwing the error ORA-12514. I can duplicate this executing each statement in a dos shell. The shutdown command closes, dismounts and shuts down the database. I have tried changing the startup statement to sql>STARTUP OPEN wind; but that makes no difference. I have found that if I exit sql*plus and log back in /nolog (in the same shell window) then I can restart the instance, what I do is:
    sqlplus /nologsql>connect sys/* as sysdba;
    sql>startup open wind;
This does successfully start the Oracle instance, mount and open the database. How else might I do this? I can certainly duplicate these actions, adding the necessary lines to oracle_start_stop.sql, but is there a better & cleaner way to do this? Right now I just want to make these existing scripts work. Once that is done, then I'm going to investigate and learn more about RMAN and datapump export/import and update our backup procedures.
    Any thoughts & suggestions?
    Thank you,
    Tom

It might be a difference in behaviour between 9i and 10g. It looks like you are connecting through sql*net (sqlplus "system/manager@wind as sysdba), so the ORACLE_SID setting is not part of your connection. When the database is shutdown you are no longer connected to any database. When you issue the startup command the ORACLE_SID is not set so there is no service specified.
If you are running this on the database server, try setting the ORACLE_SID then running your script like:
    {code}sqlplus "system/manager as sysdba" @D:\ptc\windchill\backups\oracle_stop_start{code}
and you should still have the service set for your connection.

  • Strange Data Mapping Errors after SEM 6 Upgrade. Please assist.

Hi All, I encountered these sudden Mapping errors after I tried to do Testing in Post Upgrade Sand Box. Here I am trying to to perform Collected Reported Financial Data under Data Collection Method for a particular Company Code 3040. Kindly help me with some quick responses as this is kind of high priority. The errors and the Diagnosis Notes I am unable to follow as I do not where I shall write those Mapping Rules they are referring to. I do not even know if that need to apply any SAP Notes as such. Once again Highly appreciate your quick response and Many Thanks in Advance.

Input conversion for field Period Value LC has invalid format Message no. UCT8210 Diagnosis The mapping rule for target field Period Value LC contains a move with a selected Input Conversion indicator. Therefore, the system performs an input conversion prior to creating the target data. However, an error in the input conversion occurred while moving the source key figure to the target key figure Period Value LC. 3040 is incompatible with input format for field /1FB/COMPANY Message no. UCT8258 Diagnosis During execution, the method derives the source selection for source field /1FB/COMPANY from the mapping rule for the target field. 3040 is one of the values that were derived for the source selection. The system requires that this value is in the correct SAP-internal format because the Conversion Exit indicator has been selected in the move operator for field /1FB/COMPANY. However, the value 3040 is incompatible with the SAP-internal format. System Response The system attempts to interpret value 3040 as an external format and convert it to the internal format. If this fails, the system is unable to restrict the source selection using source field /1FB/COMPANY. In this case, the system may read more source data than was originally intended, which can affect performance. Procedure In the log, choose the Source button to display the source selections that are used to read the source data. When this appears, examine values selected for field /1FB/COMPANY. If the correct values were selected, you can ignore this message. To prevent this message from being issued, you can select the indicator in the mapping rule used by source field /1FB/COMPANY. If incorrect values were selected, make sure that the mapping rule used by source field /1FB/COMPANY has been defined correctly. If the mapping rule is correct and value (3040) derived for the source selection does not affect the overall result, you can ignore this message. If the source selection does not contain the value 3040 for field /1FB/COMPANY and, because of this, source data that is supposed to be read is not being read, make sure that the mapping rule has been defined correctly. If the source selection does not contain any value for field /1FB/COMPANY, make an estimation as to how much excess source data is being read and whether this might affect system performance. If you do not expect any performance problems, you can ignore this message. In any event, you have the following alternatives if the mapping rule is defined correctly, but the source selection on field /1FB/COMPANY is unsatisfactory: You can define a source selection for field /1FB/COMPANY in the Customizing settings for the method on the Selection tab page. Then the method uses this source selection instead of the source selection derived from inverse interpretation of the mapping rule. You can implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) UC_DATATRANSFER and use the method INVERT to determine the source selection on field /1FB/COMPANY. Then the method uses the result of the INVERT method for the source selection instead of the source selection derived from inverse interpretation of the mapping rule. -

"~" (tilde) (applies to numeric fields) As of and including this character, leading zeros must also be entered. Otherwise, this character has the same meaning as an underscore. Leading zeros need not be entered on the left of the tilde. They are not output at this position. All other characters have their normal meanings and must be entered in the same position as in the edit format.

    Hi Dan,
Could you Kiindly advise me where we need to write the Mapping Rules in Consolidation Monitor? All he time the errors refering to Mapping Rules. The only Tab I seen "Mapping" is in Data Basis But as per my Understanding Iwe do not have much to do there as it is system generated Mapping Tab.
Where we actually go and select/deselct those Input Conversion Indicator/ Conversion exit Indicator.
    Highly appreciate your advise.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Time machine fails backing up with a "backup disk not found" error after upgrade to Lion 10.7.2

Time machine fails backing up with a "backup disk not found" error after upgrade to Lion 10.7.2. I've erased and reformatted the drive; reconnected Time Machine(it saw it) and began a new backup. The backup starts again but fails before completing with backup drive not found error. I used the 10.7.2 combo update. Any help on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

    Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
After waiting since October for a fix, I have now upgraded the firmware on the Time Capsule and installed the new Airport Utility, released yesterday, and the situation is even worse.
Up until now, the Airport Utility had an option to disconnect all drives manually and the Time Capsule would then work until the next reboot – a temporary (?) work-around.
Now that option does not exist in the new-look Airport Utility. And the Airport Utility installation can’t be rolled back and the old utility won’t restore.
The sparesbundle is still not accessible. Anyone worked out a work-around in the new environment yet?
I have another Time Machine backup working fine to a trusty old Lacie Drive so erased the one on my Time Capsule to see if that works. I have renamed the Capsule and the Time Capsule Drive.  But to build another full backup will take at least two days and I shall be away from tomorrow and am reluctant to leave the Capsule and computer up and running for a week. And I’ll bet the sparsbundle will still be nowhere to be found.
How can Apple screw up so badly when they are to become the richest company in the entire world and – soon – will have more cash in the bank than the entire United States? Can’t they afford someone who really can sort this out? Especially when a Firewire connected hard drive – my trusty and simple LaCie – works fine.
    Words, almost, fail me.

    Timothy:
This exception usually means that the target for application-config.xml is not correct. We usually see this happening in a
clustered configuration because the target for application-config needs to be to both the adminserver and the cluster. It is not
possible to target the application-config.xml using the console and you will have to edit the config.xml to have the correct
targetting. For a cluster, the relevant lines in config.xml would be something like:
    <ApplicationConfiguration Name="portal"
    Targets="AdminServer,MyCluster" URI="META-INF/application-config.xml"/>
    Hope that helps,
    Ted

  • Flash 9,0,124,0 security error after upgrade

I get the following error after upgrading my Flash Player
(after my system prompted me to install it while running the Flash
    editor):
Internet Explorer has blocked this site from using an ActiveX
    control in an unsafe manner.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the player from the
browser, about 5 times now and it continues to be a problem for IE.
Works ok in Firefox if I manually download the FF installer. Is
there a standalone installer for Vista/IE7 or am I forced to use
the ActiveX installer which seems to have issues?

Fix: Removed both (!?more than one?!) versions of flash
player in my Programs and Features dialog, then ran
uninstall_flash_player.exe, reset IE7 to factory spec, then
reinstalled Flash from ActiveX. Seems to be working now.
