195.62!!!!!!

Hi.
Could you guy install the Nvidia offical graphic drivers(ver 195.62) on a Macbook Pro mid 2009(Win7 x64) with 9400MGT and 9600MGT(512MB) ?
I can do this on a 13.3 MacbookPro mid 2009(Win7 x64),but I cannot install it on a 15.4 MacbookPro mid 2009(Win7 x64).
I really need you feedback.

I'll tell you a little oddity I experienced.
When the beta 10.1 flash update was released a couple weeks ago I installed it. I think a day or two later Nvidia released the 195.55 driver set to compliment the new flash software.
So I also got those drivers as well and installed them and all was tickety boo.
Then, I'm cruising the Nvidia site and I see 2 links for the 195.55 drivers, one for desktops and one for laptops, so i download both files for a looksee. Well the desktop driver package was the same size as the one I installed the day before so I thought, the notebook drivers would be even better.
So I uninstalled the desktop and tried to install the notebook drivers. I got the same error message your talking about.
So try the desktop drivers, I find it odd the notebook drivers are 10mb bigger.

My sound card has stopped working it was working fine but suddenly the sound quality started to faint and finally it stopped working i have tried the following methods:
Realtek is default audio
Control Panel/ Sound & Audio Devices/ Audio tab/ Sound Playback click on down arrow and check that the correct audio is selected. Typically the problem will be they something like "modem line 0 playback" might have been substituted for the proper audio device.( Didn't Worked)
Chipset Utility - install ( Did'n't Worked Aswell)

Try a System File Check
go to Run - type "sfc /scannow" No Success.

This Method Worked But The Sound Level Was Not As Good As it Used To Be:

Mobility U2 + xf86-video-ati-6.7.195-3 issues

Hi,
I've read a load of topics about problems with the new Xorg, and I've tried all solutions proposed. Alas, nothing worked for me.
I have disabled AIGLX, I'm not using a composite window manager. Running `startx` yields an image distorted in the same way. I am certain this is caused by the "radeon" driver, "vesa" works fine, but slows down the computer tremendously. The laptop is a Compaq Presario 2190US, the videocard: ATI Radeon IGP330M/340M/350M (U2). I am not sure how to fetch the specs of the display.

[FIXED] color corruption with Radeon M6, xf86-video-ati 6.7.195-2

Hi!
Since the last upgrade (to xf86-video-ati 6.7.195-2) I observe a color corruption on my Thinkpad X31 (Radeon Mobility M6 LY, 16MB) exactly as described here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-server/+bug/150361
Curiously, when I run
xrandr --output LVDS --mode 1024x768 --rate 60
(simply restating the settings before), everything is fine again.
Should I file a bug in flyspray? I am not sure whether this is related to http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/8558 but since using version 6.7.195-1 or 6.7.195-2 did not help, I doubt that.
Could't someone port the patch from Ubuntu?

In normal scenario in a production order each routing operation will consist a control key with settings for automatic goods reciept.
So in a production order you can use only one control key with automatyic goods recipt. This will be the last operation of the order. From message mentioned by you it is showing as may u have mentioned auto goods reciept for more than one operation.
PP01 is normal confirmation control key & PP99 is for milestone with auto goods reciept. PP95 - w/o milestone with auto GR.
Please check control key & correct it.

Windows 7 will not boot on new Satellite C660-195

Hi,
I have just purchased a Toshiba Satellite C660-195 with Windows 7 pre-installed.
This morning I have switched it on and it came up with a black box with x:windows\system32\drvload.exe in it. This box then disappeared and Startup Repair kicked in. It then told me Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically. The advice was to remove any device which had been recently attached to the laptop (such as a webcam or music device) but I have not installed any hardware or devices. I clicked finish and it shut down the laptop.
I switched it on again and the same thing happened (again and again!)
One forum suggests trying the following: Click the 'view advanced options for system recovery and support' link which asks me to choose my keyboard configuration but then when I do & click next it tells me "You must log in to access system recovery options" I am never given the option to log in!!
When accessing the Advanced Startup options using F8 I am still unable to solve this problem. The same thing (above) happens when I try to start in all Safe modes, Last Known Good Configuration (advanced), Debugging mode, Start Windows normally etc. I just don't understand it.
Upon searching other forums they have suggested holding down zero whilst switching on and then chosing Windows 7 to restore the laptop to its factory settings but the same thing happens - it just shows the black screen with x:windows\system32\drvload.exe then launched Startup Repair, which does not fix the problem.
I do not have a windows 7 disk to restore from as I only purchased the laptop 6 days ago and have not had time to do one yet. Also, the laptop should have the restore/recovery on its hard drive but I cannot access it to restore windows.
I am only a home user so do not understand all the technical speak. Please can someone help me?

Unfortunately I have already tried this and it does not work.
in F8 I can chose 'Repair your Computer' as in screen shot 1.
I can chose my keyboard configuration as in screen shot 2 and when I click 'Next'
I am presented with the message "You must log in to access System Recovery Options. If you are having trouble logging in please contact your computer administrator . . . . . . ." etc
It does not give me the option to log in like screen shot 3 so I cannot progress.
Any further ideas gratefully received!

How to send chr$(195) in Labview (MAX)

I have an elderly Philips DMM that needs re-calibrating, using the GPIB commands. I need to send it a character string starting with CHR$(195). I have a GPIB-USB-HS interface and run Labview 9. To get me going I have been using the Measurement and Automation Tool. Sorry this is a newbie question but I can't find the answer. Thanks

Problems with Premiere Elements 8 after updating to Nvidia driver 195.81 or later?

If you have an Nvidia-based graphics chipset, and you've updated to Nvidia driver version 195.81 or later and you're still experiencing frequent crashes and freezes in Premiere Elements 8, then we'd like to hear from you in this thread. As mentioned in the announcement at the top of this forum, we believe most of these issues are caused by a problem with an Nvidia driver that was released after PRE8 was developed, and that the issues should be resolved by updating to Nvidia driver version 195.81 or later. Notes from the announcement I mentioned above are copied below for your reference.

For Nvidia users, there is a driver update that will fix both of the following issues:
Premiere Elements 8 does not restart after closing on Windows
Frequent and inexplicable crashes with Premiere Elements 8
To resolve these issues, you should update your GPU (graphics card) driver to version 195.81 or higher, by following the steps below.
1.      Identify which GPU driver you have by right clicking on the Desktop > Properties > Settings and in the Display field it will be displayed.
2.      Go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us and download driver for your GPU card. Its size varies from 80 to 120MB depending upon the GPU card model.
3.      After the download is complete, run the driver install Installation. This should take less than 2 minutes.
There are no known issues that the latest driver update will cause.

Up here I copied and posted my PC's spec's. Since upgrading to the new driver, my problems increased. I seem to experience more crashes than before. Happens randomly and I can not see a pattern.   (I have noticed dragging clips from one area to another on the time line is no-no)

Bridge CS4 crashes with last Nvidia driver (195.62)

This message because since november I have crashes with Blue Screnn of the Death when I used Bridge CS4, even when no other programs running on my PC.
Or my computer became veru slow when I open Bridge...
Or Error messages saying that Bridge must close because not enough memory (I have 3gO RAM and 512 on my graphic card Nvidia 9500, and not at all used when I have the message....)
I tried many and many things (uninstall and reinstall Photoshop, change preferences of Photoshop, Bridge, change memory in Windows...) and Bridge always crashes after some minutes of use.
I searched in many forums, and saw many people have the same problem, but nobody have the solution.
Yesterday, in the "Event viewer", in "system", I had the message : "the driver nv_disp of the peripherical display \Device\Video0 remained blocked in an infinite curl. It points out a problem with the material or with the driver of the material programming the equipment in the wrong manner"
So I went to a problem with the graphic card.
I found the solution on a forum about Nvidia : "...the problem is that after driver 195.62, sometimes Blue Screen of the Death happens. This crashes happens everytime I close Adobe Bridge, and also in some other occasions too. With the old driver (190.38), dosn't BSOD. Will be great if NVIDIA told it at 195.62 releases, and fix it if possible..."
In fact, I uploaded my GeForce 9500 driver version 6.14.11.7519 to 6.14.11.9562 in november...
I come back to my old driver and have no more problem with Bridge CS4...

Well I have a 9600GT and at the moment I have the v191.07 installed but on checking the Nvidia site today I saw this

Well have tried it and it seems to cure the problem. Opened Bridge and Photoshop CS5 several times, went through hundreds of photo albums, trying to make Bridge crash but it just wouldn't... So for now I'd have to say it works great.

LaCie d2 195 GB USB hard drive and new iMac

Has anybody had a problem with a LaCie d2 drive that is connected via USB instead of FireWire? I have both types of external hard drives; the FireWire connected LaCie has worked flawlessly, as has a Seagate 300GB FireWire drive. But my poor little LaCie 195 GB USB hard drive bit the dust when I tried to copy my iPhoto library from it to the hard drive of my new iMac Intel Core. The entire Mac froze up, even though there was disk activity on the LaCie. After waiting for 25 minutes for the Mac to unfreeze, I finally manually powered down the system. Unfortunately this corrupted my LaCie disk, and it could not be repaired using Disk Utility. Even when I tried to repartition the drive, Disk Utility simply hung to the point where I had to do a Force Quit to get out of it.
I forgot to mention that I was connecting the LaCie through a powered USB 2.0 hub - that could be a source of the problem, but it worked flawlessly in my iMac G5. I did reconnect it directly to a USB port on the iMac, but still could not get Disk Utility to repartition the drive.
Luckily I had a secondary backup of my photo and music files, or I'd really be crying right now.
Any thoughts?

My Firewire connected LaCie Bigdrive started disconnecting spontaneously with a complaint from the iMac that it was disconnected improperly.
Finally it did so once more and has not mounted via FW since. However, USB does mount it but big files take all day to transfer.
I took out the Maxator from the LaCie drive and put it in a FW/USB caddy, ok for a while then the same story. USB only mounting.
Informed with some confidence by a poster on Bombich's website
( http://forums.bombich.com/viewtopic.php?p=25658#25658 ) that it was the boot drive OS
Tried new cable. repaired boot drive disc, repaired permissions, ran DiscWarrior over it, repaired permisssions, ran downloaded 10.4.5 combo, ran DiscWarrior over it and finally repaired permissions again.
No Joy.
i would most appreciate useful suggestions.

Satellite A110-195 lan crashes

Hi
My satellite a110-195 crashes when i'm sending files to another lan computer. There's nothing wrowng with the other lan computer
because i'm also testing it with an a100-906 and works fine.
I've formated hard disk and reinstalled windows xp but the problem is still there.
I'm using the latest bios. Is a very strange problem.
Lan works fine with my internet connection and system crashes only when I transfer big files.
About 800mb files.
I think that it's software orientated.
Looking forward to an answer.
Edit: A few more info.Laptop crashes ONLY when i'm sending files and ONLY when i'm using the battery. I've ordered a usb to lan card, to see what's going. But it's a shame a one week old laptop to have such problems.

I've posted this in another thread regarding the same issue and I think I've got a answer.
Do you have a Realtek Lan card?
If yes then you will have to contact the ASP in your country for a fix.
I had a similar issue with my Realtek Lan card on a Satellite A110.
From time to time my system locked up while copying big over the Realtek LAN port.
I have spoken to local technician and he said that a patch is needed.
Unfortunately, I dont know what he did but after the update (or patch installation) I didnt notice the same issue again.
Therefore I would recommend contacting the authorized service partner and ask for the fix.

Homebrew WiFi Antenna (Proper Cable, LMR-195 GR-58?)

I don't know if this is the best forum for my questions, and if not please direct me to one that better suits my needs. I was simply referred to this forum through another one. Anyhow, me and my friend are attempting to build our own wifi antenna and after searching google for a while we have come up dry on a couple things.
1), From the wifi card we wish to attach a cable that will be say 25-50 ft in length which will then attach to the card's reg 3 inch antenna, pretty much extending the antenna from the card. What is the best cable to do this. Originally we were told to use GR-58 50 Ohm Coax cable however after reading further we found that would only be good for 3-4 ft before it pretty much "spills the connection all over the place". We were then recommended to use LMR-195 or better though what type of cable is this as it does not seem to be supplied by Radio Shack. The question is what cable would you guys recomend that could hold a wi-fi signal 25-50 ft from the end of the antenna on one end back into the wifi card on the other, and where can we purchase it?

OK. Understood. You have a massive challenge ahead of you. Also be warned that an external antenna that is not properly protected and grounded can be a fire and safety hazard, and that it can accumulate enough of a static charge in dry, windy environmants to blow up your system (not so much like "boom" , but static electricity is deadly to most semiconductors).
Next, you may want to study on how to make a BALUN / UNUN because the WiFI stuff is 50 Ohm impedence, and your average TV antenna is 300 Ohm (assuming it's a classic LPDA - Log Periodic Dipole Array).
An LPDA for TV will have some elements for ~50 MHz, 260 Mhz, 512MHz, and if it's also a UHF antenna, it might be good up into the 900 MHz ranges. LPDA ware pretty wide spectrum, and you'll probably luck out and hit a harmonic somewhere.
You'll need to craft a 6:1 balun, not that big of a deal actually. Shop some of the amateur radio sites (like aesham.com) for materials or to just buy a 6:1 BALUN.
The Gain of a typical ~ 6 ft LPDA could likely provide enough gain to make the system work =-->IF<--= the cabling is very high quality, the cable termination is nearly perfect, your BALUN is efficient enough, and you don't lose too much signal through the protection system (that would be the protection system against lightning and static ... includes a thingy called a "lightning arrestor" that in no way, form, or fashion could do anything to stop lightning).
By the way, you'll want to bring that TV antenna down and clean every connection on every element. Any noisy junction will kill your signal.
All-in-all, the cable shouldn't cost you more than a couple hundred dollars, the materials for the BALUN another ~US$10-20, connectors another US$20-50, protection elements, maybe another US$25-100 depending on who and what you go with.

Exempt amount is not considering in IT 195

SAP has provided an scenario where in IT 195 after adding non exempt rule,we can exempt the amount which need to be garnished by way of clicking the exempt radio button given in the bottom of IT 195 and here you can give how much money to be exempted and how the deduction can take place.
When i have given this exempt,for example the dedutoin for child support is $ 500 and in that order i am giving exempt as 300 that menans system has to exempt 300 for garnished amount.if over all garnished amount adding all the oreders are $1000 then system should consider 700 only.
system is not considering this amount,i checked the log table etc,,system is taking this amount but the end result its not considering.I checked all the required proecessing classes etc,everything is fine.
I am unable to locate the problem,is there any pack to updated,i am working on ECC 7.0,this is the latest version.
please let me know if you have any inputs.

WHT Remittance challan Sur chg shows in paise for USD entry for sec 195

Hi,
I am in support project and my client is facing problem of rounding of for payment of TDS for Section 195.
There is an Entry in F-43 for foreign Vendor for Section 195 where WHT is deducted with basic, Sur chg, Edu Cess and High Edu Cess.the doc currency is USD.
Now WHT deducted is correctly posted to respective GLs in INR with correct rounding off.
When I prepare Remittance challan( t-code J1INCHLN) for payment of TDS, the figure of Sur chgs in open Items shows in paise
it is not showing in rounding, and if I select those four figures for payment, the entry is as follows
Bank A/C cr              2901.77-
195 basic                 2749.00
195 E cess                   56.00
195 H Edu Cess            28.00
195 Sur Chgs                69.00
Foreign Ex gain              00.23-
Because bank is showing entry in paise,unable to pay it. It should be in rounding rupees.
I have check all rounding settings in WHT Config.
Requesting solution and how to resolve this problem. also wanted to know why the figure of surcharge is comming in paise in open items of remittance challan.

Logon to service.sap.com/notes and in notes area you need to enter the note no you are looking for.
U need to have an SXXXXXXXX user ID for that which you must have got while certification or check with the client.

LSMW for garnishments(194,195)

hi frenz... i am doing LSMW for 195(garnishment order). while recording it is not allowing me to enter in to 195 unless i enter in 194. i dont want to do for 194.. i want to do directly for 195. plzz help me.

Prerequisites
You must create a Garnishment Document (Infotype 0194) immediately before you create the garnishment order. Upon saving the new garnishment document, the Garnishment Order fast-entry screen appears. You must make entries here before the record can be saved.
Procedure
On the Create Garnishment Order screen, specify the desired rule in the RI (Rule Indicator) field.
Enter either the Initial balance or the Deduction.
Usually, initial balances are required in Creditor, Federal Tax, and State Tax cases and deductions are mandatory in Child Support and Alimony cases. However, your company can customize the tables to change this.
Enter any additional limits if applicable.
If you use a rule, limits are not necessary, but still possible. If you do not choose a rule, you must set limits.
If necessary, choose Supplements to access another entry screen and add any additional information.
If the case is a Federal Tax or State Tax levy, you are required to enter supplemental information.
