1and1 Blog Application Advice.

I am not a coder and I just got some hosting space on 1and1's servers. I am using Dreamweaver to upload my site for the first time and here's my question.
I want to have one of the pages in my site be updated with a daily article and for all old articles to be archived where users can peruse them and comment on them. 1 and 1 comes with a blog application that I can use for free (I believe), but I know little about it. Do you guys know of a blog app that I can paste into Dreamweaver (I remind you that I'm not a coder) that will meet my previously mentioned needs and it's ease of use would put your aunt or uncle's mind at peace ? Does this exist ? Is it free ? Do you have an example of it at work on a site that I can check out ?

Can't start oracle wiki and blog application right after installation

I've been setting up the wiki and blog application 10.1.3.4.0 on weblogic server 10gR3, windows 2003 server SP2 and on trying to launch the application using the url format http://host_name:port/owc_wiki I get the following error
Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
Any ideas? The access logs are showing that there was a GET request, but I can't find the reason why the server is not servicing the request.

I hope who ever gets this problem gets help from this solution. I managed to solve my problem just that from the many diagnostic changes, I can't really put a finger on what really did the trick!!
I desided to go through the insatllation one more time. I noticed that when I create by Data source jdbc/OWCWikiDS and test it, it was testing successfully.
After setting up Data source I went bank to JDBC > DataSources > Monitoring > Testing. i selected my data source "wikiserver", and tested , i got this error -
"weblogic server Warning! Connectivity to backend database not verified. This is either because required connection pool attribute "TestConnectionsOnReserve" has not been enabled, or an invalid value has been specified for attribute "TestTableName". Please check the server log for more details.."
I then went to JDBC > DataSources > jdbc/OWCWikiDS> Connection Pool > Advanced
Test Connections On Reserve, and I checked it. Further to that I changed my driver from oracle Driver (thin) to BEA's oracle Driver Type 4AX.
Then I inspected my startWebLogic.cmd and noticed that my update for toplink was not at the exact place it had to be so I practically copied the whole if-else clause in the guide to replace my one.
After that My application was now working.

Don't do it and don't even both using iWeb - it has really become obsolete now.
If it is just a blog that you want, then think about using either WordPress or Blogger or some other blogging software. Take a look at http://wordpress.com and this is free and you can publish to the WordPress servers. You can also opt for WordPress.org at http://wordpress.org, but this needs to be installed on a host either manually or via one click installation and a database set up and you would also need to register a domain name. As Roger has already pointed out, you will still need to copy and paste all the entries separately - no easy way to do this.
Don't use iWeb though.

Database timetable/schedule application advice?

Hi. Looking for a bit of advice.
I have been asked to create a database/web application for a
golf club that
will allow them to display draw times for specific
competitions.
Here is an example:
The competition is 3-ball (3 golfers tee off together), and
the tee-off
times are, initially, a 7 minute interval, then 8 minutes,
then 7 again, 8
etc.
So, on paper, it looks something like this:

Its a case of horses for courses. Both programs can play with
your proposed web page.
If you have both programs then use whichever is most
familiar. I would use Dreamweaver because I don't have Coldfusion.
Depending on your experience, both can have a steep learning curve.

Charting within Web-PL/SQL Application - advice required please

Currently trying to enhance our Designer generated Web-PL/SQL application by including charting.
There is no provision to do this within Designer so are exploring other solutions, specifically using a server side servlet to render a chart as a gif, returning this to the client HTML page.
Has anyone got any recommendations on what to use to do this?
We've tried with limited success calling the Portal servlet (called chart) due to lack of documentation and relience on certain Portal procedures. We're currently experimenting with Oracle Chartbuilder, which looks promising, but would really like to know what the recommended or favorite solution is!
Any feedback appreciated!

I should have a webcam pointing at a visitor (in a museum) and I should have the visitor shown on a big monitor (like he/she is in a mirror), but the image should have a delay of 2 seconds. This should be done to simulate how one sees himself if the mirror is on the moon (2 seconds delay due to light travel).
Of course I should do it in Director (ver 11)
