1GB nano always locks up - already tried other pc...
Hello everybody
I had been using my ipod nano with iTunes 6 for some months now and everything had been working well.
But today I tried to connect it to iTunes... iTunes did crash and the ipod freezed. OK, I know how to reset it, so I did.
Nor Windows neither iTunes or Ipod Updater recognized my nano afterwards...
I tried iTunes 7, I tried anything else (the 5 R's as it's called.. reset, retry, etc... but of course without restore, because ipod updater does not work either) but nothing changed.
After that i tried with a different computer where never any iTunes or iPod software had been installed. I installed the software, restarted Windows (XP Home) and... again the same problem: the ipod is not recognized and freezes.
So - is this still a software problem? I just can't believe it... isn't this a hardware problem?

There are several options for you to try:
1) Have you tried booting from your install DVD?
Put in your installation disc and reboot whilst holding the 'c' key.
When finished booting, choose Disk Utility from the menubar and use this to check and repair your disk permissions/hard-drive.
When finished, quit the installer and restart.
2) If you have access to another mac, you can boot your macbook in target mode using a firewire cable. Your macbook and files can then be accessed directly.
3) If all else fails, you may need to consider an archive and install (whilst preserving your user details). This will replace your current installation but preserve your home folder and files. Of course, you will then need to go through the system upgrade process again.

Thanks if you reply!How exactly is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library? In other words, what options do you have selected/enabled from under the iPod's Summary and Music tabs for the iPod in iTunes. To access the Summary tab, plug the iPod in and select it from under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes. To move onto the Music tab, select the Music tab along the top part of the window.
As for the grayed out tracks, there may have been an issue during the sync process. The best thing to do is remove all the music from your iPod and resync it.

The screen of my 3GS iphone went completely white, it´s not really shuted down but I can not see anything. It comes back to normal (although it works quite slowly) when I restart it, until the screen blocks again or after I receive a phone call. My iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 are running 6.1.3 with no such problem and the same with the overwhelming majority of iOS devices running 6.1.3. -
I dropped it and it turned off. When the lock button worked I could just press the home and lock button down and the apple icon would appear. What do I do now? I already tried plugging it into my computer.

"Waiting for iPhone... " alwayz stuck at this stage...Already tried using DFU mode and many times...but always stuck at this stage. However in iphone APPLE LOGO and Status bar is coming but not processing ahead! Even my device is not jailbroken.
iTunes recognize this device and giving option for Restore. i go for it and in the continue process WAITING FOR iPHONE /// at this stage it stuck.. and keep serching like for something and in the iPhone APPLE LOGO and Status bar showing..but not processing further.Shaishel,

I need help Apple!!!! I keep trying to download apps and it always says "youve already purchased this, so it Will be downloaded Now at no additional charge." And after i try to download it wount download, please help me because im getting tired of this! Oh and i keep going to the already downloaded apps section and i try to download it but it shows the little icloud symbol and i click it but it wount download it please help!!!!!!!

Try restoring the iPod. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I was running Firefox fine just yesterday. I screwed up the registry a litle while removing an installed program completely, so I restored the system and everything appeared to work fine. I then decided to play an old video game, Return to Krondor, which was made back in 1998, so I ran the program with no other programs running in compatibility for windows 98. After finishing the game, I closed it and put the computer in hibernation mode. I come back today and firefox will not run at all. It is not running in the background and there are no programs running. There are no services running which could interfere with it. I think somehow Firefox may think I'm in compatibility mode still, but I have no idea.
I'm running windows Vista 32 - bit with an AMD 2.4ghz processor, 4gb ram on an Emachine computer. I have already tried system restore, restart, processes etc. Nothing works. I can still run Internet explorer and all other programs.The person that I was assisting, has Windows 7 which has 64 bit system. Her browser was IE 10.

I don't hace email set up on iPhone, I barely have any notifications turned on. Ive already tried the "reset" with exchange and the calendar. What else can I do to stop this battery drain problem I've had since upgrading to 6.1.1?
I also forgot to mention that when it did have power, it wouldn't let me shut it off to try and conserve the battery life. Right when it powered down it would power right back up.
