2.0 - 0x803d0006 - The Operation Did not complete within the time allotted

I integrated MBAM 2.0 into ConfMgr 2012 SP1 on Srv2008R2 & SQL 2008R2 box. All MBAM components lying on the same server. Network is encrypted, using https, clients and server have certificates from inside PKI.
- Manual encryption attempt with MBAM client fails ends with "An error has occurred". During this, there is no error codes anywhere.
- During automatic triggering of MBAM client, 0x803d0006 comes up into event viewer.
- Laptops are partitioned with extra Bitlocker partition as they should be
- Laptops are able to communicate with
MBAMRecoveryAndHardwareService/CoreService.svc
- Group Policies are applied with necassary MBAM settings. Reporting point is disabled because ConfMgr integration takes care of that.
- During the error on a client side, I don´t see any logs in event viewer on a server side

I solved this By creating GPO policies only via MBAM node. Previously I had a mixup with policies, because I had configured Bitlocker Encryption policies also. With MBAM, only MBAM´s own policies should be configured.
So this error massage is occured only because of GPO conflict. I also noticed, that you can easily mix up things with MBAM´s policies also, if configuring different encryption settings and causing conflict between them (like encryption package, keys etc).
So if you don´t know, what you are doing (like me, hehe), leave encryption polices as default.

Hi,
I understand that you get the error message when performing a full crawl. I have seen similar cases caused by IE proxy settings. You can try to edit the Internet Options>Connections>LAN settings. Uncheck ‘Automatically detect settings’.

(-200474): Specified operation did not complete, because the specified timeout expired

What are the conditions under which this error (-200474) occurs in the NI-DAQmx driver?
I am looking for something similar to this: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/485201B647950BF886257537006CEB89. Also a more detailed description of this error would be nice.
I encountered this error using a PCI MIO-16E-4 board while reading from an analog input channel. I have a loop that continuously measures values. To obtain a value, I start a task, average a number of 10 000 samples, and then stop that task, and so the loop repeats itself again.

The interesting thing is that my application works fine for a number of hours (more than 5-10 h) and then at some point, I get this error.

Once every second I start a task, read 10 000 individual samples, average them, and then stop the task. So I guess it's pretty intensive.

It can be that during the starting and stoping the task, one of the DAQmxReadAnalogScalarF64 calls returns me this error at some point, because the driver doesn't have time to give me a value anymore. I will try to lower the 1Hz sampling rate a bit, but I will leave the sequential DAQmxReadAnalogScalarF64 calls running at the speed of my app.
A possible solution to my problem would be to configure the driver to average 10 000 samples for me, and then return me a single value. I would appreciate any idea of how to configure the task to do this using the NI-DAQmx API.
Could you also give me some plausible scenarios which could result in an occurrence of this error?

Error installing DS 4.0: "previous operation did not complete"

When I try to install DS 4.0 I get the following error:
Installer has detected that a previous operation did not complete. Do you want to resume?
I had previously installed Information Platform Services 4.0 but the install crashed. Now I am unable to uninstall IPS and I can't install anything else. ( trying to uninstall IPS from Programs and Features just blinks and then doesn't do anything)
Has anyone faced this issue? Can someone PLEASE tell me how to uninstall IPS and/or circumvent the error so I can get DS installed?

I had the same problem a while ago. I solved this by
1. Go to folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\InstallData
2. Under this file you'll find "InstallManifest.sqlite" file. You need to open this file through SQLite editor. You can download it https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/sqlite-manager/ as an add-on to your firefox.
3. There are 13 tables in this database. Go to "DUTransaction" table. You will see "Committed" column change the value if there is any zero 0 value to 1.
4. Save and close the file.
5. Restart your installation.
This should solve your problems.

I have had a lot of issues with the emulator in the past.

Also, I find that if I cancel my build/deploy while it is stuck on booting the OS and then wait a short while the phone OS will complete booting, and from that point I can deploy to the emulator. It's a workaround, but it works well for me.
I need to do that on Windows 10 tech preview, which may or may not be simply an incompatibility with the beta OS.

Go here: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=750 and download iOS 4.2.1 for the iPhone 3G. Perform a restore, but hold down ALT when clicking restore. Restore from this file you just downloaded. You should not get 1015 as you are upgrading, but if you get a different error, report back.

You may need to update command w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update, to change the IntranetServer w32time type to nt5ds (this sets the service to pull from the AD).

Windows Server 2012 Foundation, in a Workgroup - "The server did not finish checking the license compliance. If the server is joined to a domain, make sure that the server can connect to a domain controller"...

Every few days we see two dialogs with the following messages:
Dialog 1, title: Check for Licensing Compliance is Incomplete
The server did not finish checking the license compliance. If the server is joined to a domain, make sure that the server can connect to a domain controller.

The server is not (and never has been) joined to a domain or had any DC roles installed. In fact its still connected to the default Workgroup.
The server was configured in our office and never showed this message until it was installed on site. The main difference from what I can see is that when installed on site it was given a static IP address and does not have any DNS settings in the network
adapter properties.
I have scoured a number of forums on this error but in almost every other instance of this error message the servers are connected to a Domain Controller and the solutions generally are linked to dis-joining and rejoining the domain. Unfortunately this is
not an option for this scenario.
I initially thought that adding some relevant DNS server IP address may resolve the issue, however, we have the exact same model server configured exactly the same running at a different site that does not experience this problem. This server also has no
DNS server configured.
I have seen a post that suggests turning off the servers "Foundation Checking", but I'm unsure how to do this.

I can confirm that this server is not (and never has been) a member of any active directory, it is configured as a Workgroup server. It was initially configured on a network that does have an active directory, but was never joined to it. During that time it
never displayed these messages.
The server was moved into production on a different site and network and setup with a static IP address.The site network does have its own active directory but the server was not joined to it. It is whilst on this new network that these messages began.
Since my original post DNS servers have been added and the Microsoft activation has been verified, however, the messages are still appearing.
There are only 2 user accounts configured on this server. The local admin account and another local admin user.
The remote desktop services roles have been installed but not yet configured. I don't think that has any bearing on this scenario though.
The description of this error in the above "Introduction to Windows Server 2012 Foundation" link states:
This error occurs when the server cannot finish checking the requirements for the root domain, forest trust configuration, or both. It usually happens when the server cannot connect to a domain controller. If the situation persists, the server will
shut down 10 days after the first time the compliance check failed. Each time this error message occurs, it will state the actual time remaining before the server will shut down. If you restart the server after it has shut down because of non-compliance, the
server will shut itself down again in 3 days.
The above description leads me to the following question - In a Workgroup environment, does the server still try to contact a domain controller to establish a level of trust? If this is the case could it be that the server can no longer see the initial DC
on its new network and this is what is triggering the messages?
Am I clutching at straws here?

Suddenly today, our term store started displaying the above error. I first noticed it when I was trying to view a managed metadata column of a list. I got the following error - "There was an error processing the request". When this happened more
than a couple of times, I tried to open the Term Store of the site and encountered the following error message - "The operation cannot be completed. The term store may be unavailable.". I've checked and the permissions are in place as outlined by
this article. However, the issue persists. The term store was working fine previously without any issues.
Any suggestions to resolve this will be greatly appreciated!
