2.0.1 and the lag

Well updated my iPhone this morning and all seemed well although I don't seemed to of been blessed by this better signal strength that most people seem to be reportin.
But I did notice that my lag was gone on SMS and then I go to send a text tonight and o what's that I have entered in two lines worth of text nearly and the phone is struggling along well behind and then just add insult to injury it started happening while typing this post and then saffri shuts down so I have to write this again
So after that rant any one else had the same issue or similar or just any other surprises with 2.0.1
Btw I am a 3g 16gb iPhone user on o2

First of all, I should say that I have not yet upgraded to 2.0.1 here in France. But three days ago Orange/France upgraded their 3G network, when all their 3G customers (including non-iPhone users) were asked to turn off their phones and then reboot. After which the 3G signal strength is definitely improved on my 3G iPhone (still under 2.0).
This seems to suggest once again that the network/carrier is at least partially reponsible for some of the issues that many have been experiencing in the UK. (I was in Germany recently, far away from major cities and roaming on T-Mobile/Germany, where the 3G signal was strong in the centre of a medium-sized town but practically non-existent only some 3 km away.)
As for the lag on SMS/mail input, that's another issue that I have yet to experience even under 2.0.
BUT for text input in Safari, Safari used to crash on me every time I tried to sign in before posting to this forum. This problem went away, however, also following the Orange/France 3G upgrade, so... yet another hint that it really may be a network/carrier issue?

Since upgrading to 10.9.4 i've been beset with numerous bugs and general odd system behavior.
Previous to this update I had experience lag when using my Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. For example when doing a preview render in Maya the tablet would become unresponsive and laggy. This never occurred on my old Mac Pro 2008.
I noticed there was an update to the Wacom Drivers (6.3.8-2) so I did the update. After updating I've been experiencing dramatically slow screen redraw. So whenever I drag a window or scroll, the image stutters, flickers and lags as it tries to redraw to keep up with mouse position. This makes it impossible to use the computer.
I uninstalled the Wacom drivers and the lag and redraw errors persist. I looked at Activity Monitor to if it was some other system resource like Spotlight that was momentarily hogging resources. The only thing I notice is that the dreaded "kernel_task" seems to be using a lot of ram (1.46 GB) and cpu time (usually at the top of the list). Also, "com.apple.IconServicesAgent" seems to be using a lot of CPU time (usually #2 in the list).
I'm at a loss as to what to do about this other than re-install everything from scratch. I've read through numerous forum threads about the kernel_task issue but nothing seems to apply to the New Mac Pro.
Hopefully someone has some experience with these issues and some good advice for fixes.

A bit of advice for you as a new user. Please refrain from making assumptions and using hyperbole. Both get in the way of providing useful support. Not "everyone" has tried the basics, let alone know what they are. That's why they're here. These first steps in troubleshooting often fix the issue being asked. If this thread doesn't answer your question, move on and find one that does. Feel free to skip the thousands that advise a reset.

Firefox 11 freezes and is lagging after few minutes. Youtube Videos are laggy while the sound is normal. Can you help me to solve this problem?

If I restart my browser everthing works just fine for at least 5 minutes. When I watch several youtube videos, the lag comes back and the video starts to freeze aboud every second for just a faction of a second. The sound is stil played properly it only affects the graphics...
After about 10 minutes watching videos the whole browser gets laggy . Sometimes when I type the fonts appear only about a second later. Scrolling is also affected. Some minutes later everything is back to normal but it't not allways like that?!
I don't know what to do, I allready restarted with add-ons disabled but I didn't notice any difference. The drivers of my ati graphics card are up-to-date and I only have the problem with firefox, chrome works perfectly.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help with device errors. You may want to consider restoring your device to factory settings to resolve the issues you've described:
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
Restoring iOS software deletes all your data and content from your device, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar info.
Before you restore your device
Make sure you’re using the latest version of iTunes.
Use iTunes to back up your device. Transfer and sync any additional content to your computer.
Turn off Find My iPhone in Settings > iCloud on your device to disable Activation Lock.
Restore your iOS device
Connect your iOS device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes. In the Summary panel, click Restore.

You are still under warranty. Call Apple Care. Make sure you get a case number as all repairs have an additional 90 days of warranty.

There is excessive swapping of data between physical memory and virtual memory.
That can happen for two reasons:
You have a long-running process with a memory leak (i.e., a bug), or
You don't have enough memory installed for your usage pattern.
Tracking down a memory leak can be difficult, and it may come down to a process of elimination.
In the Activity Monitor application, select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected. Click the heading of the Real Mem column in the process table twice to sort the table with the highest value at the top. If you don't see that column, select
View ▹ Columns ▹ Real Memory
from the menu bar.
If one process (excluding "kernel_task") is using much more memory than all the others, that could be an indication of a leak. A better indication would be a process that continually grabs more and more real memory over time without ever releasing it. Here is an example of how it's done.
The process named "Safari Web Content" renders web pages for Safari and other applications. It uses a lot of memory and may leak if certain Safari extensions or third-party web plugins are installed. Consider it a prime suspect.
If you don't have an obvious memory leak, your options are to install more memory (if possible) or to run fewer programs simultaneously.
The next suggestion is only for users familiar with the shell. For a more precise, but potentially misleading, test, run the following command:
sudo leaks -nocontext -nostacks process | grep total
where process is the name of a process you suspect of leaking memory. Almost every process will leak some memory; the question is how much, and especially how much the leak increases with time. I can’t be more specific. See the leaks(1) man page and the Apple developer documentation for details.

I have a fast computer and my webpages load really, really fast. I have FireFox 4 browser and a Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS. So I don't have a slow computer or web browser. But these slow YouTube vids take way too long to load for some reason.

To post the full stats from your router
for home hub - 192.168.1.254
Navigate to ADSL Settings or use the A-Z at the top right
Click on More Details and then post the results.
Run BT speed tester and post the results from http://speedtester.bt.com/
If possible it would be best to connect to the BT master socket this will rule out any telephone/broadband extension wiring also consider the housing of the hub/router as anything electrical can cause problems as these are your responsibility, if these are found to be the case Openreach (engineer) will charge BT Broadband, which will be passed onto you, around £130.00.
Noisy line! When making telephone calls, if so this is not good for your broadband, you can check-
Quite line test dial 17070 option 2 and listen - should hear nothing best done with old type analogue phone digital (dect) will do but may have slight hiss If you hear noise- crackling pops etc, report it as a noisy line on your phone, don’t mention broadband, Bt Faults on 151.
As for your FTTC its available in some areas between 40% & 80% of customers in enabled areas can receive it!

My laptop makes weird noises and the graphics lag

I also have the same problem as IntelFixer, it is totally sure that the sound lasts and the graphics move the way the sound goes. it ever perists on my 6 yr. old pavllion dv5, but my new 15 lags the most than my old one . I tried every audio and directx driver, but no problem solved. Is there any way I can fix this problem, or is this a misassembly in the laptop?

Please provide the product number of your model (How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? | HP® Support)

Just open HP Support Assitant and check for any pending updates. Complete all updates(including BIOS Update) and check. If nothing helps or if you have already tried the above steps then as a final step perform a complete HP Recovery and complete updates again.
If problem continues and you still have warranty then would recommend to call HP Tech Support for hardware issue.
Note:
If you have HP Support Assistant installed on the computer(The Blue Question Mark) then open it ==> Complete all pending Updates & Tuneups==> Restart and Check. It may solve your problem

I'd love to use Safari as my main browser--simply because over the last four years I have migrated from everything PC to everything Mac--however, Safari to me just doesn't cut it compared to Firefox on my iMax ( IE is worse). When the key board appears on the screen I start typing, but there appears to be a major pause between the typing and the letters appearing on the screen. It started after updating my system some time ago. I have an ipad1.

Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

Apps "not responding" and general lag

More than ever it seems apps are freezing and then the message that the app "not responding" comes up and do we want to wait or close. Is there any fix ? Also, my phone still has lag which is possibly uncurable ? Sony making no friends here - a kitkat upgrade would be welcome but isn't coming ! One thing I did do was disable Chrome and install CM browser for android - makes searching less painful and would recommend.

You could reinstall the latest update with PCC Keep in mind that apps are getting heavier and hardware demanding, chrome its known to have an issue at the moment, memory leak, and the Xperia SP has only 1GB of RAM not an ideal combination with this latest updates on apps.
