2.0 bios and video lag

I flashed the BIOS on my 875P NEO-FIS2R (old 1.x version Neo) to 2.0 and now all my games have significatly lower frame rates. I've tried installing the latest drivers for EVERYTHING in my computer and nothing seems to help. Is there a setting in the BIOS that I forgot to reset that would cause this or anything similiar?

Ways in which I attempted to address this myself...
I first re-installed all drivers and updates, including BIOS updates. After that didn't fix the problem, I did a full wipe/re-install of windows 8, and again, updated all drivers from the HP website. This issue happens on both Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. I then did an exchange, and even the new exchange ultrabook is experiencing this issue. HP technicians, there is something faulty with this device. Please acknowledge and address ASAP.

Exporting and video lag??

i am having some troubles exporting to quicktime format?
i have done some speeding up of the video to fit to an audio file and when i export it...the resulting file seems to keep the video at the original speed...it plays back perfectly how i'd like it in final cut but the exported file doesn't maintain the videos speed so it ends up laggin the audio...
any help please??

Self contained simply creates a new clip, which is independent of any media...plays by itself and is transportable. Non-self contained is essentially a 'rendered' version, which relies on media resident on your computer...not transportable or uploadable.
I'm unfamiliar with all aspects of MPEG4, but my guess is that it is not an 'editable' format. You may need to use MPEG Streamclip to convert it to a DV-NTSC or some such format that FCP can edit with. You would likely need to also convert your mp3 to aiff.
Then, you should be able to add speed changes and whatnot and render/export successfully.
That's a guess, so hopefully others with better info will chime in.

G60 series Windows 8 NO SOUND VIDEO LAG

Recently upgraded my G60 from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and immediately experienced NO SOUND and VIDEO LAG issues. After searching online extensively I came to conclude that it's a driver issue that HP needs to resolve.
Please kindly reply my thread if fellow G60 owners are experiencing the same problem so HP would take this issue seriously and provide us a fix ASAP

When scrubbing through all of my clips, the video lags and there is a green frame that stays on the screen.

In the viewer, not the timeline, I scrub through the media that I have (1080i video) and the video lags. There is also a green frame that hovers over where the cursor is when scrubbing and I can't see the clips. Final Cut should be running smoothly...

Lagging, freezing and video pop ups

I have recently notice a lot of lagging to my laptop, a lot of freezing where it says "not responding" then will finally load the page, and video pop ups that I am unable to find the location they are coming from. I have ran several virus programs and I am still having the issue.

Try an adblocker to get rid of those pop ups...
In PaleMoon(a FF derivative) I didn't have stalled websites so far.

I switched initially to get back the old, non Australis UI but it seems many websites are much more responsive than in FF.

When watching Youtube, there is a lag between sound and video. Does anyone know how to fix this. It only seems to happen on Youtube.

Youtube starts ok, but there is a sound/video lag which becomes greater as the video continues. This doesnt happen on other sites which use video.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and sign out of the ID and sign back in. Note this will delete all old Messages from the iPod.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

N210-MD1GD3H/LP Issues with video and audio lag / stutter - can't find cause?

After much searching I'm now posting to a forum for the first time. #newbie
I have an 'old' PC (wait - don't ignore me yet...) and I thought that 'helping' it out with a low spec graphics card and a USB audio card would make everything nice for general web browsing and watching online content. The PC was bought second-hand (stay with me....!) with Windows 7 but I thought that the CPU was struggling as I was getting the video lag etc, so I re-installed XP SP3. Initially after install everything looked fine but a few days later and the troubles were back.
The issues I now have are very choppy / stutter / lag on watching things like YouTube and iplayer, and playing DVDs. At the moment there is no sound for the DVDs.
I don't know whether it is:
1. Video card / MOBO incompatibility.
2. Audio incompatibility (USB adapter vs video card vs onboard)
3. MOBO lacking power / processing speed.
4. another...

I have problem with my laptop audio, my audio is lag and missing every 2/3 second when i listen audio or play games, and video too.
I was updated, and reinstall my audio driver but the sound still lag and lost few second.
Any solution ?
My Laptop is Toshiba C640

and audio driver is Conexant smart Audio.

Can you check the laptop's full model and part numbers from the label on the bottom? Don't include the serial number.

Video playback in premiere elements 13 is off - audio and video don't line up.

When I import video clips from other sources, such as my webcam, a downloaded youtube video, or video imported from my phone, the video lags behind the audio. More and more as the video plays on. My computer meets all the system requirements and I tried rendering the video. When I export the video to other formats, it still has a lag. Can anyone help me? I am currently using the trial version and I don't want to purchase the program unless this issue is resolved.

Video Lagging/Choppy videos on Macbook Pro

I am having a problem while watching videos online: video lagging/choppy videos. Sometimes the video is stuck in a certain frame although I still have the sound on the background; sometimes the video slows down completely (frame+sound). It started around one month ago, and exists in several different websites, I couldn`t solve it by myself. I am not very good with computers. I tried to uninstall/reinstall flash player, as well as disable hardware acceleration, and the problem is still there. Also somedays the videos are working fine, and somedays they are all bad independent of websites. I tried to use different browsers (chrome/firefox/safari), but the problem persists.
I am using a Macbook Pro and bought it in the beginning of January this year (right now it is running OS X 10.7.4) with flash player version 11.2.202.235.
I would very much appreciate if you can help me.

mellskucukoglu, uninstall all adobe products then install Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader, Adobe Air, Adobe Shockwave Player. Make sure to select the operating system correctly behind the link. Turn off your antivirus till you finish installation as suggested below the webpage. If it still doesn't work check for OS X 10.7.4 updates.
If it still doesn't work then go for Adobe Live chat in this link http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html . Sometimes they are busy. If they can't help. Think about any changes that you made before this issue like installaling any new apps. Uninstall them. If it still doesn't work then install Adobe Flash Professional CS 6. New Mac Pro (6 core, D700, 32GB), Mavericks 10.9.4, dragging and scrolling lag, overall system bugginess

Since upgrading to 10.9.4 i've been beset with numerous bugs and general odd system behavior.
Previous to this update I had experience lag when using my Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. For example when doing a preview render in Maya the tablet would become unresponsive and laggy. This never occurred on my old Mac Pro 2008.
I noticed there was an update to the Wacom Drivers (6.3.8-2) so I did the update. After updating I've been experiencing dramatically slow screen redraw. So whenever I drag a window or scroll, the image stutters, flickers and lags as it tries to redraw to keep up with mouse position. This makes it impossible to use the computer.
I uninstalled the Wacom drivers and the lag and redraw errors persist. I looked at Activity Monitor to if it was some other system resource like Spotlight that was momentarily hogging resources. The only thing I notice is that the dreaded "kernel_task" seems to be using a lot of ram (1.46 GB) and cpu time (usually at the top of the list). Also, "com.apple.IconServicesAgent" seems to be using a lot of CPU time (usually #2 in the list).
I'm at a loss as to what to do about this other than re-install everything from scratch. I've read through numerous forum threads about the kernel_task issue but nothing seems to apply to the New Mac Pro.
Hopefully someone has some experience with these issues and some good advice for fixes.

HT4221 My ipad photos and video are not in any order.

I have a series of photos and videos that I am using Sync Photos, and it loads them in completely absurd orders, different each time I've attempted. It does not follow the naming convention nor the dates in the order it has.
My first sync, the photos were in order, then the video but I wanted both intermixed, following the name of the file and not the .jpg or .mov.
I am syncing from a windows pc using Windows Vista.
I tried using the app Photo Manager Pro, and it has the audacity to rename the files too! So the order there is whacked.
Is there any common sense solution to this, so you know, I can use a modern apple device to view photos and video, in order?

I have looked a little bit more, and it seems as though the video is lagging behind, not the other way around. Video seems choppy, but the audio is playing perfectly. Music Videos are suffering from the same problem as well. Also, when I sync to my iPod Touch 16GB, audio & video match up perfectly.
I still have no idea how to fix this. Please help.

Audio and video out of sync on converted AVI file

I am trying to convert a DVD to an AVI for playback on a device. When I import the DVD and publish it as an .AVI the output audio and video are out of sync. After about an hour of playback the audio lags the video by a full second. How can I correct this problem?

If you have Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 8 and you want to rip VOBs from the DVD-VIDEO to export subsequently to DV AVI, here are the details....
1. Do you have DVD-VIDEO standard or widescreen? Set the Premiere Elements 12 project preset manually.
File Menu/New/Project. Set the project preset to NTSC or PAL DV Standard or NTSC or PAL DV Widescreen depending on what you have.
Before you exit the new project dialog, make sure that you have a check mark next to Force Selected Project Setting on this Project.
2. In the Premiere Elements workspace, use Add Media/DVD camera or computer drive/Video Importer to get the VOBs (only the ones in the series VTS_01_1.VOB. Set to a folder in the Save In: location. Check mark next to Insert in Timeline. Hit Get Media.
3. If you have an orange line OVER the Timeline content, press the Enter key to get the best possible preview of what you have on that Timeline.
If after all that, the audio is out of sync, then use the Command Prompt method to get the individual VOBs into a single file with all the VOBs seamlessly merged. This worked nicely for a recent user here. See details in my blog post how to for the Command Prompt way.
