Can you try that with a fresh install without migration of settings? Backup/delete the SQL Developer/system2.1.0.63.73 directory in the hidden Application Data (Datos de programa ;) ) under your Windows profile to reset your installation.I've just done it (I only imported the XML file with the connections). And the problem remains.

I cannot log onto the App Store, the page appears when I call it from the dock or the Apple menu and I can call the log-in box from the menu bar, but on signing in the spinning icon just keeps spinning,(not the beachball).  Using 10.6.7 and up-to-date on all software. Any suggestions?

Could be a third party app preventing you from being able to login.
Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text
If it's not a third party issue, follow the instructions here.
Quit the MAS if it's open.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder then the Caches folder.
Move the com.apple.appstore and the com.apple.storeagent files from the Caches folder to the Trash
From the same Library folder open the Preferences folder.
Move these files Preferences folder to the Trash: com.apple.appstore.plist and com.apple.storeagent.plist
Same Library folder open the Cookies folder. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
    Relaunch the MAS.

  • MacBook Pro will not go past login screen/gray screen/gray Apple screen. Wheel keeps spinning.

I am pretty frustrated right now as anyone would be if this happened.
I was installing Anti-Virus onto my MacBook Pro and the installation finished but the computer froze. I force restarted the computer and it went all the way into my desktop, I could click on certain things but it was loading INCREDIBLY slow. The Anti-Virus opened and everything but the computer was just running much to slow and then froze again.
I hard reset the computer again because it was frozen. The first time I hard reset it went all the way to the login screen, I put my password in and the wheel would just spin. It just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning.
I hard reset the computer again. This time it gets to the Apple logo with the spinning under the logo. Just keeps spinning.
I hard reset the computer again. This time it gets past the spinning under the logo and isn't doing anything.
I hard reset the computer again. Get's all the way to the log in password screen, doesn't even let me put the password in just keeps spinning.
I continued to hard reset and get different screens each time.
I booted into safe mode. Did absolutely nothing for me but run incredibly slow and lag. I am not sure if that is normal or not, as I have never safe booted on a Mac. I reinstalled Mountain Lion after going into I think it was Recovery Mode (Command + R) and that did absolutely nothing for me after waiting over an hour. So now I am very frustrated as I need to do work for my class and this is just a major problem.
I even tried doing the Command + Option + P + R or whatever it was to reset those settings. Nothing is working.
Final projects and computers that don't want to work are not good.

Are you not able to install OS X, then? That is, the reinstall procedure does not work? If so, then you need to erase the drive then reinstall OS X.
Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Erase the hard drive:
      1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
      2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
      3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
      4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.

Thank you - that all makes sense. It is, indeed, exactly what I did when I upgraded.
I'm also writing this on the machine that crashed a few minutes ago (I posted the crash in another thread). I got back with a 'safe boot' - as I have done a few times before.
I've also de-installed little snitch (and then done a safe-boot & then re-boot ) since that seemed involved. I de-installed Adobe flash, since that seemed to be a problem - I then re-installed the later, apparently fixed, flash. The most recent crashes don't seeme to have a problem with flash any more.
I've posted the various ( generally different ) crashes. I also posted a summary of the similar lines that turn up in most of the crashes.
Unfortuantely, I'm actually trying to use the machine to meet some urgent deadlines and all this is not making it at all easy.
I had had great hopes for 10.7.2 - I thought that the crashes must be pretty common, so would have a common aetiology. There do seem to have been some fundamental changes to the file sytem and to the video interface (that seems to cause problems to brand new iMacs as well as to my 2009 iMac).

I was using iPhoto when my computer froze and wouldn't let me do anything. I used the power button to restart the computer. Once I got to the login screen and tried to login the rainbow icon just keeps spinning. It does let me type in my password but never logs me in.

    Hi targheelu,
It seems as though you are experiencing freezing when reaching the login screen. That does sound troublesome. Take a look at the article I've linked below. You may want to try booting into Safe Mode, which may help you determine the cause of the problem. If your computer enter Safe Mode successfully, reboot it and startup normally.
OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support
    What is "Safe Mode"?
Safe Mode (sometimes called Safe Boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks, and prevents some software from automatically loading or opening.
Starting up in Safe Mode does several things:
It verifies your startup disk, and attempts to repair directory issues if needed.
Only required kernel extensions are loaded.
All user installed fonts are disabled while you are in Safe Mode.
Startup Items and Login Items are not opened during startup and login on OS X v10.4 or later.
In OS X 10.4 and later, font caches that are stored in /Library/Caches/com.apple.ATS/uid/ are moved to the Trash (where uid is a user ID number).
In OS X v10.3.9 or earlier, Safe Mode opens only Apple-installed startup items. These items are usually located in /Library/StartupItems. These items are different from user-selected account login items.
Together, these changes can help resolve or isolate certain issues on your startup disk.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    BobbyD

  • 10.7.5 update failed. Cannot login now

I recently updated to 10.7.5 from 10.7.4 on my Macbook 4,1 (2008) and during the update, there was an unexpected error and it just restarted itself. Upon logging in, it was stuck on the gray screen with the apple logo and spinning wheel. I left it on thinking it was going to revert back or something but it has been stuck in like that for 4+ hours. I decided to try to reboot it and try to fix it. I still cannot login but I am able to use the recovery options. I would prefer not to just reformat it (as I don't have a time machine backup) but I will if there is no other solutions.
It is worth noting that I am unable to get into Safe Mode due to FileVault being on. Quite unforunate
Using DiskUtility, I am unable to verify or repair the disk. It gives me the error message "invalid node structure" and asks me to repair and when I attempt to repair it spits out "invalid volume header @ 0 : incorrect block type"

I'm guessing your system had damage before the update was installed. The only hope, in my opinion, for Invalid Node Structure repair is the following....
If Disk Utility can't fix it, you'll need a more robust utility to repair it.
I would recommend DiskWarrior. It is the best at directory repairs. It rebuilds then actually replaces your old directory. I feel every Mac owner should have a copy.  It also has File System repair now and hard drive S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics.
Make sure you get the disk so you can boot up on it to run repairs. You can also install it on another drive and run it from there to repair this one. DW works faster that way. But sometimes a badly damaged system can be deemed unrepairable by the installed version, but if booted and repaired from the DW disk it may be repairable. This has happened to me.
I use DW once a month to try and catch errors in my system from getting too far out of hand. It has repaired every little and big issue I have ever had with my  three Macs.
    Good Luck!  DALE

  • Failure: Cannot login after Lion 10.7.2 update

I cannot login after performming the update realeased today.
After boot, at the login screen, I see the user in the circles. Upon selecting a user, entering the password, the spinning circle below the Apple appears. It spins for a few mnutes, then return with a NOT symbol as the spinner contues to spin endlessly. After a while, the fan kicks into overdrive.
I tried to do the boot in recovery, start terminal, resetpassword, restart, login as root steps, but do not see an option to login as root upong restart - just the User circle icon.

I have a similar problem, but it looks like I have solved it.
I rebooted holding down ommand-R to get to the recovery-HD mode.  From there I chose the options to re-install Lyon (requires internett access because it downloads a new copy).
Since I have multiple disks attached (the internal and a bootable backup drive) it asked which disk I wanted to use.  When I chose the internal drive it told me it was locked and asked for the FileVault unlock code.  After that things seemed to proceed properly.
I suspect that the problem is in some way tied to my use of FileVault.
