2.16 vs. 2.2

is there much of a difference? I noticed that the 2.2 is upgradeable to 4gigs of ram whereas the 2.16 was only to 2.. would that be because of different circuitry or maybe Leopard?

The better graphics is a great selling point but 40 grams lighter doesn't mean all that much (to me). Leopard, IMO, has not turned out to be a true positive either as the unexpectedly large number of bugs have made working more difficult - particularly on a MacBook (mouse cursor/trackpad issues, QuartzCore and CoreGraphics related crashes etc..). Fortunately with the 2.16GHz that I have, downgrading back to Tiger was possible.
I am most curious though if the Preview crash that occurs when trying to save a JPEG after adjusting colours exists with the new MacBook and Intel graphics chip. Has anyone tried?
Regarding RAM, it should be noted that the previous MacBook can actually support up to 3.3 GB of memory although 2 GB is the stated max. A 2GB and 1GB chip work though you lose the slight benefit that comes from matched pairs. A combination of 2x2GB also works but you 700MB of RAM will be missing (as well as money from your wallet)
