2.2 flash games on facebook

I thought we were getting a full flash player with 2.2?
When I visit facebook, the full desktop site, my games looks like they will load, but then stop with either a circle and the play button or an exclamation mark!
I will look up how to take a screenshot and post shortly.
I have tried the following facebook games on the standard browser...
cityville
farmville
bejewled blitz
so far visiting sites with flash video are working better than before. I can actually play animated radar for the local news channel.
I did notice a few of my sites want to always push me their mobile version and I have not found an override like some phones and browsers that go to the desktop site by default.

Found the answer in anohter section of these boards! It worked for me:
MODS...i posted this in the DX forum too because someone asked a question about it. It isn't only a DX issue so I am posting here too. If you feel the need to remove or move this as a duplicate post, i understand.
Farmville is very popular and now with 2.2 release everyone can play right on their phone. If you tried to play after updating to 2.2 Froyo you probably received an error that says it isnt available on this device.....NOT SO!!
But you do need to make a change in your browser settings:
Instructions are for the default web browser.
1.Download and install Flash 10.1 from market
2.Open your browser, go to facebook.
3.type into the browser about:debug and press go. The browser will go right back to the same screen you were on previously and it appears that nothing happens.
4.Press your menu button(bottom left physical button)
5.Press "MORE"
6.Scroll down to "Settings"
7.Scroll all the way down to the bottom where you see "UA STRING"
8Choose "Desktop" This will "trick" websites into thinking you are logging in from a PC computer and not a Droid.
9.Hit back until you are on the facebook page again.
10. Refresh your browser and launch Farmville!!!

Hi, i have my iMac from 2008 and it's always work but for almost the lasy year youtube doesn't work. Flash games on FaceBook don't work - Ubuntu 11.10 32 bit + Firefox 7.0.1

I installed today the FlashPlugin update for Ubuntu 11.10 (32 bit version). After the update all FaceBook games stoped working in Firefox 7.0.1. They still work with Chrome (version 15.0.874.120).
System Information:
AMD Semprom 140
3.7 GB of RAM
Graphics: GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a/PCI/SSE2/3DNOW!
Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot
Firefox 7.0.1 (Mozila Firefox for Ubuntu - Canonical - 1.0)

Due to the lack of official info both from Adobe and from Mozilla, I did some research on this and here's what I found out as a solution:
- I navigated to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and the reported version was 10.1.99.0
- I navigated to about:plugins and the listed flashplayer plugin was Gnash and not Adobe Flash plugin
- In Firefox I uninstalled the flash player plugin
- In the Synaptic Package Manager, I uninstalled Gnash and Gnash Plugin
- In a terminal window I issued <bash>$ sudo apt-get autoremove && sudo apt-get autoclean
- In the Synaptic Package Manager I unistalled the adobe-flashplayer plugin and, then, re-installed it
- Back in Firefox I navigated to about:plugins to verify that it listed the Adobe Flash Plugin
- Navigated again to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ to make sure version 11.1.102.55
After that all flash sites (not only FB games were affected) came back to normal operation.

If you are willing to pay a few bucks for an AppStore App, there are couple of different 'Web Browsers' and 'Remote Desktop' Apps that ARE available in the AppStore that SUCESSFULLY allow you to play Facebook Flash games on your iDevice. I currently use the "Splashtop" RC (RemoteDesktop) App to play 'Farmville, Cityville, Frontierville, etc. Zynga' Flash games through Facebook on my iPad 3G. I hope that you will take the time to research these Apps if you are seriously wanting to play these games on your iPad. I have had nop problems with the 'Splashtop' Remote Desktop Web Browser App and have been able to play all of the Facebook Games on my iPad exactly as if I were playing them on my actual Desktop or Laptop sitting at home! Let me know how everything works out for you!

Firefox flash games under retina win 8.1

Firefox is showing the fonts smooth unlike chrome which is really nice when u have a retina display macbook pro ( using win 8.1 ) but when u try to open a flash game in facebook the game is reaaaaaaally laggy and un playable even , not even youtube is playing good .
is there a solution for that soon ?
my display resolution is 2880 * 1800
system is win 8.1 x64
firefox version 29
and i have a macbook pro late 2012 with an nvidia gpu which is really good to handle graphics .

I am playing CivWorld (flash game) on facebook and listening to Pandora in another tab on Google Chrome.
When I begin to drag my map around in CivWorld after about 5 seconds the audio begins to chop up and drop out in Pandora. When I am watching my process in Chrome my fps drops from 25 to 6 or 7. When I stop dragging the map everything instantly goes back to normal.
How do stop this from happening?

Is there any timeline soon that apple users will be able to open things that need adobe flash player? I can not even play any games on Facebook, I can't open certain files, pictures sent to me or things like forms I news to see when I am not home

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!! I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone. Especially if they just got the phone they have. You guys are awesome with technology I have faith that you can make this available to all Apple products old and new by uploads or upgrades. Thank you hopefully can give me some info about the status with this or if there wen is one. I would have thought that being a company such as you are that it would already be taking care of right from the beginning and not wait years to take care of somewhat that is very important ro have especially when there is so much our there using Adobe Flash now. I have vista OS and a game on facebook says need adobe flash player 12.0.02 or later. I have version 15 and it's not bringing it up. What could be wrong?

I'm trying to play a game on facebook, but when I go to play it, it comes up with a message saying I need to install adobe flash player 12 or later. I installed version 15 but it still keeps getting that message to install version 12 or later. I checked in my control panel under programs installed and it shows that adobe flash player 15 active x listed. So why won't the game see it? Do I need an older version of adobe flash? Maybe version 12, if so where can I find it. I tried to find 12 but every site keeps taking me to 15.

You might not have the plugin for Firefox installed. Adobe has two different versions of Flash - one for Internet Explorer and another for Firefox. Internet Explorer uses ActiveX. You can check if Firefox has the plugin by going to:
* Tools > Add-ons > Plugins, or
* [Image: New Fx Menu] > Add-ons > Plugins
In Firefox, go to this link and Adobe should give you right correct installer:

Why am I having problems with my Adobe Flash Player crashing continuously on certain games on Facebook?

I play alot of games on Facebook. I have started encountering a problem with my "flash player crashing"... I have uninstalled all Adobe products and reinstalled them to no avail. It seems to happen more when I am using the games put out by Zynga. I cannot understand why it's happening, and certainly don't know what to do to fix it.
