2.5 Problems - SOUND and FAILURE to Connect to Email and Weather

Hello, The upgrade didn't make a difference - the Sound on my iPhone is WAY too low. I cannot use it in a city, period. (must use a headset - I've never had a cellphone that required a headset in moderate noise atmospheres). The Speakerphone is profoundly weak - it may as well not exist. Literally it sounds like a regular cell phone NOT on speaker but turned up 3/4 volume. I had several cell phones that were naturally loud like that. I sure miss that feature.
What is the DEFINITIVE solution for this? I've been away and reckon there MUST be a Famous Apple Solution by now?
MAIL CONNECT FAILURE - most often at Home (NO Cell signal; Wireless signal from Linksys access point) but very often wherever I am, when I click the mail button, NOTHING happens except the status says 'connecting' for a while then stops and the notes read 'last updated [3 hours ago]' That is, last updated 'time' from my LAST successful email update several hours ago, but NOT from any current download. I shut down, try again - nothing seems to work and the Mail will act this way in what seems an arbitrary amount of time/failures (sometimes overnight) then it will behave as designed - connect and download when I click on Mail button.
The SAME THING (periodic, arbitrary Failure to Connect) happens with the Weather, except with the Weather the status reads 'updating...' for a bit, then states 'update failed'. Remember, this happens at home (WiFi) AND when I'm in Public (EDGE AND WiFi) and is seemingly arbitrary. (I'm pretty sure it happens with Stocks as well, but I'm not trying as often...)

There was no update on 10/26 nor has there been any update for a number of weeks.
My check update currently says 11/1/07 but that merely means that iTunes will automatically check on that date. It does not indicate that there will be an update.
You can always check by manually depressing the 'Check for Update' button on the iTunes info page. That will tell you whether your current firmware is the most recent version and what the version number is.

Hi guys, I am writing with extremely big problems. I made three times factory reset and nothing is working. First of all, the sound from my phone is gone, so whenever someone is calling me, I have no sound. Second of all, phone after lollipop update is overheating - tempreture is extremely hot. Third problem, that its not recognising PC anymore through usb cable. Moreover, apps crushing very very often. I wrote to official sony twitter account and they advised me how to fix these problems, but it never helped me... I have no warrenty anymore, as it was purchased in September 2013. My ipod classic has started making a mewing sound and all it does is scroll through the songs. It will not play except when connected to my computer. I tried resyncing and that did not work. How do I fix this problem?

It will play when connected to the computer...but that makes it hard to take it on a walk with me I thought it might be a synching problem so tried that--still doesn't work. How do I fix this problem with out restoring it to the factory setting? I do not want to lose all my music content as some of it I cannot replace easily. Please help with suggestions and advice. Have you recharge your iPod for at least 2 hours, preferably till the Full charge Battery symbol comes ON.?

Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it

Sound and connection problems

I own a Ipod Touch 16gb, purchased January last year (i believe it's 2nd gen).
The iPod had worked fine for almost a year until the problems started, at first it would just freeze in 30min-1hour, and then work fine again. But in January (2010) the problems got serious. It started with that the iPod would play sounds and being very slow when trying to play. The only sound there came out of it (both speaker and headphones) where scratching sounds in a very low volume. To hopefully solve the problems i connected the iPod to my Windows computer (which it's syncronized with). The computer reconised that a USB item was connected (the "dong" sound) but iTunes didn't.
Therefor i choose the reset the iPod completeley and delete everything on it.
This worked until now, where the problems has occured again.
The first time the iPod showed problems in January (2010) it was send to Apple, where it was checked for flaws (both hardware and software), but nothing was found.
Currentley im reseting the iPod once again in hope of getting it normal, but im afraid it will happend again.
Any ideas of what the problem is, and how it could be solved?.

Sound/Mic Failure in Adobe Connect Solved Only by Reboot

For my job, I must attend meetings in Adobe Connect using sound and mic. I'm using a Microsoft Lifechat headset/mic. My sound & mic began to fail & problem was resolved only by rebooting my computer. The fix would last a few hours at first, but began to last for only about an hour. I"m a work at home customer service agent, and I rely on my mic & sound. I'm having no problems at this point with sound when not working--such as listening to music or watching/hearing YouTube videos.
My supervisors insist that my soundcard needs replacing, but I don't have one; mine is integrated into the motherboard, apparently. I have a backup computer which I worked off of for 2 days with my current headset, and it worked fine. It's the family computer and I must get my work computer up to par.
How can I fix this without buying a new motherboard???

In the meantime I am providing you with the HP Support document: Adding or Replacing an Expansion Card (Video Card, Sound Card, etc...) in HP and Compaq Desktop PCs, which will walk you through step by step the process for add a sound card to your HP Pavilion p6620f Desktop PC. This morning i was not able to hear sound on my recently purchased macbookpro retina 15 inch model.My attempts to resolve this issue by going to system preferences and removing the mute box that was ticked as active. i had downloaded much earlier a mac version of logmein app and noticed that in the sound box noted above that there was a bar indicating that the default was now to logmein. i had never used this app. Why it started today, i have no idea. I moved the logmein application to trash and deleted the app , however it did not remove the default option which still blocked the sound.
Going to a macforum gave the tha anser that to remove the logmein app, it first had to be reinstalled a nd them use the uninstaller option ftrom the dropdown menu. for now that has resolved the failure to allow sound oputput.

Audio problems - sound delay on play - and cutting out.

I have an iMac 27" i5 - and having an audio problem in FCP 7.
There is a delay when I press start/play. At first there's no sound and after about two seconds I can hear the sound. Also when I play my sequence my sound comes and goes (cutting out) - not always at the same spot. Scrubbing is also giving me hassles - I first have to press previous- and next frame a bit (to move the play head up and down the time line) in order to hear the scrubbing frame by frame. This happens when I use internal or external speakers.
What can this be - maybe a driver update? But I'm up to date with my upgrades.
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have anything else connected to the iMac. Sometimes I have Safari or Firefox open - but I have also tested it without those programs open - no luck. I have not deleted my preferences - what's a safe way of doing that. My sequence setting matches clip settings.
Will keep a close eye on it when I start a new project - with fewer media on the timeline initially.

I have just downloaded OSX Mavericks and am having a lot of problems with my iCloud account. I get a message "this iMac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with (and then it quoted my e-mail address) Does anybody know what the problem could be??

As mentioned above I have just downloaded OSX Maverick to my iMac. I am now having a lot of problems with iCloud. I get the message that "This iMac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with, and then it goes on to quote my e-mail address. It then says to open iCloud preferences to fix this problem.
I do this and no matter what I seem to do this message continues to return.
Can anybody explain how to resolve this problem (please bear in mind that I am noy very computer literate).

Yes! Same thing happened suddenly to my Z10 this morning. No AOL.

I have now followed multiple instructions from this and other forums. have turned push notifications off. Turned them on. Have updated to IOS 6. Have signed out and signed back in, have uninstalled all magazines and reinstalled. Have synced, and updated everything in iTunes.
Nothing works,. Also cannot use youtube.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
It might also be a good idea to contact Square for assistance.
