Yes you can open a separate account. Shouldn't be a problem using the same credit card to fund it. No you can't transfer the "ownership" of the apps already purchased. Your devices can hold protected content from up to five accounts but managing updates is much easier when only one account is involved. If there is really no overlap in your tastes for music, apps or other media, and you run two separate databases, then it is probably best to split things now. Otherwise you could leave things as they are, at least until you get to the point where you no longer want him spending your money.
If you stick with a single account you can disable automatic downloads to stop purchases ending up up on both devices. When the devices are connected to itunes there is also an option below the app selection panel to Automatically include new apps which you should disable.

If your children are under 13, you should open 2 new accounts for yourself and let them use it. They can use these ID's for iCloud and so have their own email! contacts! calendars etc, but still share your original ID for iTunes for apps, music, etc. You can continue to sync them with your computer.

Multiple people have the same problem for one and one reason only. They still owe something to itunes store. Settle your account and you will be able to do that.

Hacked account - credit card charged

Why I get charged my credit card for skype id 44870835190, and I already sent this complain by email to day, I hope I get the correct answer for it.

For everyone interested how the situation ended here is a breakdown:
I was finally able to get through to someone in support using the ticket system. I was advised that my account has been locked until the situation is resolved and I was asked to reset my password using the standard online process. Since the hacker also changed my email address I was unable to do that which I mentioned back to the support. Because my identity was at that point confirmed I was advised to provide a new email address which is going to be used for password reset purposes. After I provided the new email I was able to reset the password and log into my account.
After loggin in I noticed that only 3 out of 11 bank transfers made bu the hacker were succesfull which was already good news. Additionally although the hacker was successfull in adding 50 pounds to my account he only spent around 0.4 pounds on calls and texts. I asked a refund for the transfers made by the hacker which Skype agreed to straight away.
All in all - it is a pain to get thorugh the Skype ticket system but if you are patient enough you can get some help.

Itunes accounts credit card details

We have two iphones which are using the same apple id, we have created a second apple id but how do we change one phone to the other id And i do not want to put any payment methods eg credit cards or gift cards numbers on the account please advise

Tap on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on it and log out of it and then log in with the new account. Any apps that were downloaded by the currently logged in account will remain tied to that account. If you want to use that account for other things as well then you will need to log out and in for those as well e.g. Settings > iCloud, Settings > Messages etc.
Whether you will need to put a credit card on it before you can use it in the store for downloading content will depend upon how you created the account e.g. did you use the steps on this page when creating it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 ?

Unable to update credit card details as number is always listed as incorrect. Tried with multiple cards both through ps4 and online. Any suggestions?

contact customer services as you could have had a card block placed on your account that stops you adding a new card. it happens to some people from time to time

Hacked Account, Credit Card Fraud, Customer Support Won't Deal With It.

I have contacted ''customer support'' twice about my hacked account - answer I have received left me baffled and angry as apparently I have not passed security checks - yet I have passed them when giving the same answers to un-suspend my account!
My account was hacked on the night of 5th July, approx. 3-3.30am on Sunday.
Person who hacked it tried to make continuous purchases (I believe at around 100 pounds in total) using stolen credit cards Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard (Mastercard is still attached to my account as whoever did it just left it there).
They have tried to call numbers in Turks & Caicos and in British Virgin Island.
I have asked ''customer support'' to trace it and deal with it, as in today's day and age it could be terrorist or contract killers using other people's accounts to make their dealings, but both times I was told I have not passed security checks and they won't deal with it.
I do not remember when I've open Skype account, sorry it was years ago.
I also have only 3 contacts on my Skype list from form required 5 (I simply don't need any more).
I have contacted Action Fraud UK in this matter and have made a report. I have report number which I send to ''customer support'' with my second message.
Action Fraud UK have advised me to contact ''customer support'' again and ask again to deal with this unpleasant matter - again ''customer support'' refused.
I am really angry about it and if ''customer support'' (Skype should change their name as they are not supportive nor customer orientated) do not want to deal with it then I would appreciate for someone to close my account as in that case I won't nothing more to do with company who does not take matters like this seriously!

Yes, without signing in, goto the music stores main page. At the righthand side under "Quick Links" hit "Buy And Redeem" Then enter in your Music card code and hit Redeem, NOW you can sign in witht he ID you use here

ITunes Account Credit card info

I tried to update my iTunes account credit info however the account screen freezes when entering update information, then have to re-boot. Same problem when purchasing a new Apple photo book. No computer download or upload problems and the G5 powermac is running well. Resolution?

Make sure you have any available Apple Software Updates installed on your PowerMac G5.
Try going to http://store.apple.com/us >Change 1-Click settings >enable 1-Click shopping.
Can you now purchase the book in iPhoto?

Help with updating account, credit card, address on itunes

I tried to purchase songs on itunes with my ipod touch, and a message popped saying that I need to log in on a computer and verify my account info before I made the purchase. I Logged into itunes and there was an obsolete card on file and I'd recently moved. I tried updating the info, but it keeps saying that the info doesn"t match the banks records. ***!!! I verified my info 10x just to make sure I was putting the info in correctly, but the message keeps popping up. Please help!!

Man, that isn't cool. Seems like a loop error of some sort. No matter though, we can circumvent that by contacting iTunes directly through their Support. You will want to use Express Lane first to contact iTunes Store Support via email or chat (if available).
You can also call AppleCare (1-800-MYAPPLE) to assist if Express Lane is either down or you do not get a response in 24-48 hours. Make sure you inform them if you tried to use Express Lane and got no response or if it is down. They have direct chat access if the need arises.

Why is it so difficult to CANCEL a subscription to AOLs cyber newspaper, "THE DAILY". It appears to have been made very possible as a scam, so once you give them the automatic, weekly deduction to your credit card or bank account, it's non cancelable!

BEWARE: if you subscribe to AOL'S cyber newspaper (for 99¢ per week),you will have to give them authorization to charge your account weekly vain iTunes/apple account or credit card or bank account. Once you do that you have a better chance having a long phone chat with Oboma about all the people now on welfare, than getting someone to at AOL or APPLE to cancel your subscription. You will get routed all around and put on hold and finally referred to a forum where this has been REPEATEDLY asking ...and, per APPLE, answered. In fact, when you follow the APPLE given link (a live person at APPLE sends you the link by email but can not tell you what to do on the phone) ... And you go to the link, you will find ...as I did and others commented they did too...that the link suggestions do not work to allow younto cancel The Daily!   At this point younwill have over an hour, perhaps 2 (as in my case) invested and STILL NOT HAVE IT CANCELLED.
What incompetence by AOL and APPLE!   Or wait; do you really think this is made so complex, not by incompetence, but by design?
You mean you think AOL ...once the got your account debit authorization working, the want to make it nearly impossible for you to stop them from continuing to "milk the cow"?   They do have a dubious, to put it politely, record onmcustomer care (reason theynlost literally millions of paying "AOL Members" starting about mid 1990's ...and then making AOL free before ALL their "members left".)
Ok, so it is not hard to see AOL doing something like this. I admit. However, with ITunes participating in the billing for "the Daily. Onto your Aplle Account credit card or bank account, do you think the generally ethically run APPLE would participate in the AOL scam too? Is there a conspiracy here ... A scam?   Or, is there some logical and reasonable explanation?   Absent a such a good explanation, this is class action lawsuit material ...to recover all the amounts deducted from customers who wanted to cancel but did not have the time and endurance to figure out how to cancel.

Yoor post is very confusing. AOL's iPad magazine is called "Editions" and it's free. "The Daily" is put out by TheDailyHolding and is owned by Rupert Murdoch. You've already posted in another thread where the solution was given. Other people seem to have manged to get unsubscribed.

I don't think you can pay for a gift with gifted money.
https://discussions.apple.com/message18056833 - Once a gift card is entered it will be charged for any purchases you make until it is used up. Certain things such as gift cards can not be purchased with gift cards and will get charged to the credit card.

Go onto iTunes on your computer, on the right side of the home page of the iTunes store, click Account Information. Click the Edit button next to Payment Type. On the top of the screen, where it shows different types of credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, etc.) click None. Then scroll down and click Done. TA DA! Hope this helps!

Many iTunes account using one Credit card

We have purchased 15 iPad for Sale staff and would like to install a set of apps (which are purchased from company iTunes account)on all these iPad but we still allow these staff manage their own photos, music, video and they can even purchase other app with their own iTunes accounts. Please advice how to do this? Thanks.

use the "gift an app" option to purchase the apps that all users need via a single account/credit card, then send the users a code that they redeem for that specific app under their own iTunes account
