2 apple ID accounts on 1 mac?

hi, till now my wife's and my Iphone have the sameapple ID account. but nou there is icloud... so we wand have one apple ID each. buth is this working on 1 mac? I think a mac can only connect with one icloud accound..

I suggest going to System Preferences > Users & Groups and adding another username to your Mac to use the second Apple ID.
Two separate Apple IDs appear just as if they are used by two separate people. The same is true of two separate logins on the Mac.

It won't show up on your Apple TV until it is fully downloaded into iTunes on your computer, have you done this.

I have my own account and two iMacs and have both authorized with my Account no. I just bought my wife an iPad and want her to be able to use the music, photos and get to her photos on either macs. I originally wanted her to have her own account to purchase books music etc, but also want her to get music from any playlist etc. She has no computer which is strictly hers alone, she uses my daughters iMac and has her own account login on that computer along with mine and my daughters. I have my own iMac, and icloud with my icloud email address and can log into itunes icloud etc, using my Apple ID account on it and only one login account to the iMac where I am administrator. I also have other email addresses on our iMacs other than my icloud email address. I have been able to sync my music to my daughters ipod touch as well as my iphone? I would like to sync all the available information on any computer to my wifes new ipad if needed, but still want her to be able to have her own account to purchase items via her own credit card and have her own icloud account if possible.
Any Advise as to what might work best and easiest to manage, would be helpful.

I would set up seperate user accounts on the computer, that would be easiest to manage. Sharing an itunes store account is fine, but shoudl definitely keep seperate icloud accounts, which requrires another apple id.

Associate your mobile numbers with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so.
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
and on the iPhone:
Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
Then, on the phone, tap
Use Your Apple ID for iMessage
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test. If there's no change, you may have to wait for a change in network conditions.

I solved this by reset of the Wifi (unplug cable and power to both modem and wifi ... wait 60 sec ... plug in modem cable and power ... plug in wifi power and LAN to modem ... restart AppleTV and Mac ... Turn Home Share 'OFF' in iTunes then back "ON" ... it took ~60 sec for the AppleTV to pick up my Mac in computers.

Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

it been a thing for ages before Apple TV came out where computers on the same network could also access each others shared iTunes lib
Apple TV does the same thing only problem could be if the network is not fast enough to transfer 2 streams of data at once

I need to create and manage Apple IDs for my family. They just received a couple of iOS devices (iPod, iPhone) as gifts.
However I do not have a Mac or iOS device that I can use to manage these accounts. I have tried to access the iCloud setup from my Windows installation, only to find it's just not there. Similarly, I was unable to find the option at the iCloud.com website.
Is there any option to do this apart from buying a recent iOS device?

At My AppleID page (https://appleid.apple.com/) I am able to sign in. But if I click on 'Manage your Apple ID' I am only allowed to do very basic editing of my account. I cannot create Apple ID accounts for my child from here. Nor create a family group.
Again, I do not own any iOS 8 device. I have an old iPad and don't use a Mac. In both my child's iPod and iPhone (iOS 8), the devices say that a parent (adult) should create an Apple ID for them. My question is still the same ... how do I do this from the web (e.g. after signing into My AppleID), from a PC running Windows (e.g. from the installed iCloud software), or from an older Apple device? (iphone 4, original iPad)?
I don't seem to find a way to create a family group, and manage both my AppleID (with credit card information) and my children's.
Is there such a possibility?

Deleted OS Profile Notifies Apple ID Account That Mac is iMessage Client

A friend created an account on my mac and logged in with his apple ID. A few days later we deleted the account/profile on my Mac as it was only setup temporarily. He since has received a notification that my Mac was added to his iMessage. We're confused, as we had deleted the Mac account.
What should we do to clean this up?

Software from the Mac App Store is encoded with your Apple ID. The Mavericks installer is 5.29 GB. It should be the same for anyone who is installing Mavericks for the first time.
You should be able to copy the installer from one Mac to any other Mac that you own and use it to install Mavericks.

You could combine the content in one library on the Mac, but it could lead to a few problems, if you would take only one Apple ID (e.g. for App updates you would persistent have to sign/out, ...). So I would recommend to use different librarys unless you take one of your IDs for all future purchases. In this case it would make sense to combine everything in one library.
