2 Blackberries 1 pin problem

I renewed my contract receiving a new blackberry. Gave my old one to my sister. She lives in Italy. How would she go about getting her own BBM pin and personal info on my old blackberry?

Yes, she should change the BlackBerry I'D on the Device to her own.
But first she must perform a security wipe on the device....
BlackBerry smartphone must be security wiped before transferring ownership

  • IPhone 3GS - "LOCATION PINNING" PROBLEM ON THE MAP

    Hi everyone. I'm currently using an iPhone 3GS running on IOS4 and unfortunately facing "location pinning problem" on the map. Even though, "location services" feature is on and also "active" for photos, I quite often need to reboot my device right after I took a picture(s) in order to see the "location pin(s)" on the map.
    But sometimes I don't need to do so, because it somehow captures the place the picture's taken and puts a pin on the map right away.
    Do you have any ideas about where that problem might be stemming from? Appreciate your help on this issue. Thx a lot in advance...

    so did you happen to resolve that "pinpointing" issue?

  • Use of Lenovo WD100 with Intel WIDI and Windows 7 - PIN problem

    I recently bought the adapter Lenovo WD100.
    It works fine when connected to my Samsung S4.
    But I am unable to use it with my PC.
    The PC has an Intel I7 processor, Windows 7 and the Intel WIDI 4.2 software.
    When I open the window of the software WIDI 4.2, the PC find immediately the adapter WD100 but when I try to connect it asks me to enter the PIN that should appear on the TV.
    Unfortunately no PIN appears on the TV.
    Does anyone have any idea where to find this PIN?
    Is there a way to read it in some files in your PC?
    Thanks

    Hi John:
    Thanks but, I had already done this. I was having THAT problem with Encore (could not even initialize before tanking) when I first installed it and that's when I updated the Roxio engine. I don't know what else there is to update or correct at this point.
    There was one thing that occurred to me: When I was using XP, I had to disable Open GL in order to get Encore to stabilize. I've heard one recommendation for Encore that one must disable graphics acceleration. I would like try that here except I can't figure out how to do that in Windows 7.
    I've been Googling "Windows 7 Disable Graphics Accel" and have come up with nothing useful.
    Thanks for your help though and if you have any other ideas, I'm all ears.

  • Sim Pin problems

    When I turn on my iPhone it has the screen to connect it to iTunes. When I do so, it has an error message about having a sim pin. The only way I know of to turn the sim pin off is through settings, which I can't get to.
    Anyone know a fix?

    I have the same problem. The screen to connect iTunes appears with emergency calls only. When I connect to iTunes I get a blank screen that says that my sim is not supported. It leaves me no options to do anything else. This happened immediately after I updated the software for the iPhone. I'm no expert but may be it could be that the latest software is not compatible with older iPhones. Anyone can help?

  • Magsafe L-style Pin problem.

    Well, i bought a macbook pro 13" a year back. Recently the coating over the pins melted away and got suck inside.
    I dont have a Apple care protection plan..
    Anyone having same problem?

    I had the same problem. The two pins on the side sitting inside when you checking on it. I searched online and almost gave up on fixing it. And I found some one suggest use magnet to suck it out. It did work, but remember the spring underneath is broken, so once I connect the magsafe to my computer, those two pin with broken spring got pushed back again. So I connect the magsafe with my computer, and rotate my computer to make the pin drop out by gravity, guess what, the green light is on. It worked!! even when I rotate my computer back to regular position, because there is magnet in the computer too. good luck to everyone in saving 79 bucks.

  • SunPKCS11 pin problem

    Hi:
    I'm developing a Java application to sign pdfs using smartcards. To access the smarcard I'm using SunPKCS11 with OpenSC over Linux. The code I use
    to access the certificates is:
               String configName = "name = Custom\nlibrary = /usr/lib/opensc-pkcs11.so\n";
               SunPKCS11 provider = new sun.security.pkcs11.SunPKCS11(new ByteArrayInputStream(configName.getBytes()));
                Security.addProvider(provider);
                KeyStore.Builder builder = KeyStore.Builder.newInstance("PKCS11", provider, new KeyStore.CallbackHandlerProtection(new DialogCallbackHandler()));
                try {
                    keyStore = builder.getKeyStore();
                    DefaultListModel dlm = new DefaultListModel();
                    System.out.println("The algorithm " + keyStore.getType());
                    System.out.println("The provider " + keyStore.getProvider());
                    System.out.println("the number of certs " + keyStore.size());
                    for (Enumeration<String> list = keyStore.aliases(); list.hasMoreElements();) {
                        String a = list.nextElement();
                        System.out.println(a);
                  provider.logout();
                }The first time the code is executed all works fine. When this piece of code is executed again inside the same Java program I insert the correct PIN on the PIN Dialog and the Login on the smartcard fails. Looking at opensc debug messages I can see clearly that some random characters after the PIN are added. After a failure I execute the code and works again. It seems to fail every 2 executions. Seems like some kind of buffer not reseted or something like that. ¿does anybody know what's the problem?¿How can i solve it?
    Thanks

    Hi raziel590,
    Welcome to BlackBerry support community forms.
    About your PIN issue,
    there is two ways to solve the issue i) You need to contact the
    original user and ask for his/her BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)
    username and password. (which you mentioned not possible) and ii) Call
    the carrier where the device is used and ask them to remove the device
    from BIS administration database.

  • Backup Assistant Pin Problems

    System keeps telling me that I have an invalid PIN.  When the system tells me the PIn, it's the correct PIN but I can not get the system to accept the PIN.  I tried delete and restore, but there is no un-install option. It only says, "force stop"; and that does not help.   This has been going on for a month.  Any ideas?

    I am wondering if the new o/s Android 2.0 will correct the problem.  Any ideas on when that will be coming out?  We may have to reload everything when that happens.  Why do it twice?
    I am assuming you mean 3.0.. The problem is with Backup Assistant not the phone or OS so I would think it wont fix it because BA has been having issues for some while..  There hasnt been any official report of the adroid X recieving this update so you may have a bit of a wait.

  • Sim Pin Problem??

    I see an option to enter a Sim Pin so that if someone steals my SIM card that it would be unusable unless they enter the PIN #. I have 5 attempts to enter this number, but each time I try to enter a new PIN # it says can't save and deducts one from the number of attempts. I only have 2 left and don;t want to try this anymore. Does anyone know why it is doing this and how I can protect my SIM card??

  • KIN TwoM  PIN problem......

    so after i found out people had been snooping in my phone, i set a pin. five minutes later i fogot it (i do remember the numbers are 8 6 4 2 but i dont know what order) i hear this can be fixed? and after trying 9 different pins, my phone showed the message about data being erased with one more wrong try.........help? sorry, i feel very stupid

    Hello,
    I wanted to ask if you were able to get your phone unlocked without erasing the data? I am hoping that you were able to keep all of your information in the device.
    I researched the KIN TwoM and I see that after 10 incorrect attempts to enter the PIN, the data is erased and is not retrievable. I found the below in the manual for the device.
    "After eight incorrect attempts at typing your PIN, you’ll be prompted to type a specific number to continue trying. If you type an incorrect PIN a total of ten times, the data on your phone will be erased (but you will be warned after the ninth attempt)."
    Please post back and let us know what happened.
    Thank you!

    Hello,
    Well, unfortunately, here in this user-to-user community, there is even less hope of any help for this. Only your carrier and/or BlackBerry can resolve this, and therefore you need to persist with them.
    Good luck!

  • P965Neo-F V2 USB problem

    hi there,
    i`ve got a problem with this mainboard and using USB 2.0 devices. I`m using WinXP SP2, and everything looks installed correctly. USB mouse and keyboard is working fine, and whatever device i connect it is recognized without any problem. The problem is that whan i connect flash or external usb HDD and start to copy something on that device writing speed is just ridiculous .... like 100 - 500kb/s. Read speed from devices connected to usb is fine (more than 32mb/s), but as i wrote before writing speed is big problem. All usb ports are behaving like this (rear on MB and ports on case). I was trying to find anything on this forum, but all i found was some 10 pin problem, which shouldn`t be my problem, because pin 10 is not wired (case ports). So any suggestions ? Thanks in advance.

    Make sure all USB related Options are enabled in BIOS.  If there is an option for USB 2.0 Controller, make sure it is turned on.

    I spoked with a provider,and they dont give a rats **bleep** about pin problems,they say the device is faulty,they dont even bother to chek,so unlike blackberry and rim,the acounts shouldnt be administrated by providers,problem like mine aren't only one case,they are a lot so if thei dont do somethig is their loss!!!   "The device associated with this PIN and device id belongs to a different service provider" error is displayed when trying to create a new BlackBerry Internet Service account.

  • Magsafe Charger not charging - when it lights up may not work

    I started experiencing this a few weeks ago. Since then I have gone through 2 adapters.
    The magnet works and everything, but it doesnt light up, and where that battery is up there it doesn't show any signs of recognition.
    I have to wiggle it a little bit and apply some pressure to get it working.
    Even then, it still sometimes doesn't work. It'll be green and say "Not Charging".
    It doesn't always do that though. Sometimes it will charge. I have a new battery (from around christmas time) so it cant be the battery... i wouldn't think anyways.
    Another thing, is when I get it charging, I have to lay it perfectly still. One little tiny bump or something will cause the light to go off and stop charging. I've cleaned the magsafe part and the part it lpugs into the computer. I have the same problem.

    I had the same pin problem as many here. My neutral pin (outer most) stop pushing out, I can turn the plug upside down and the pin falls into place. Take a bit of wiggling to get it to charge the computer. This is a new magsafe, only 4 weeks old. I had to have my other one replaced because the exact same pin did the exact same thing again.
