2 Country Accounts - Possible?

I have a UK account with iTunes that I have used since I lived there. Now I live in Kuwait, I would like to open an account here as it's cheaper!
However, I still want to be able to access the UK site for TV programs etc. as censorship means I cannot access lots of them.
My question is: Can I sync my Ipod Touch with 2 accounts from different countries?

If you still have a UK-issued credit card with a billing address also in the UK, you can still use the iTunes Store there. Synchronization with the two accounts shouldn't be a problem; a number of people who've posted here have residences in different countries and maintain multiple iTunes Store accounts.

You have to be in a country to use its store (and an account can only have one billing address on it), so whilst you are in Australia you can only use the Australian store, you cannot use the UK store (including redownloading past purchases). You can either update your billing address on your existing account to have your Australian address on it, or create a new account with your Australian billing address on it

4 users for one icloud account possible??

We're four to five users at work, needing a way to all be able to work on one document, not necessarily at the same time. I'd like to set-up one icloud account we can all use. Is this possible? Will we have to login every single time??
Each user has an IMac, iPhone and some an iPad too. We'd like to be able to use all of These devices to work on.

If the document is an iWork document (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), you can collaborate on it using the iCloud iWork beta apps and still maintain separate iCloud accounts for each person. Here are some support documents that explain how:

Buy music from US apple store by using other country account

I wish to buy a music album which is available in US apple store only but I have account in Indian apple store then how can I purchase, Apple not allowing to buy that. I am holding a international credit card which is register with Apple.

You can only buy from the iTunes Store for the country you are actually located in, and you must use a credit card registered in that country. If you are in India you cannot purchase from the USA Store. Creating a new ID won't help.

European ATV3 and US iTunes account possible?

Can I use my US iTunes account with an ATV3 I buy in Europe (Holland) or will the ATV3 only accept accounts from the country it was purchased in?

The only difference between the Apple TV's bought in Europe and in the US, is the plug on the end of the power cord.Providing you have a US credit card address, you should be able to use your US account.
I'm not at all certain, but there may be an issue watching NHL outside of the US, perhaps someone can confirm the position over NHL.

One Mac, one User, one library, two Store accounts possible

Is it possible to buy with two different store accounts?
It's one user on the computer, one Music library but I would like to shop for my daughter without adding another account. She's on an imac G3, so I can't fill her iPod nano there.

Hi Joachim,
Yes, you can create two or more accounts to use on the same computer at the same time. For example, in my case, I have one US and other Portuguese account.
Just make sure you authorized your computer to play content from both accounts.

TOTALLY seperate mail accounts possible??

Apple is proudly pronouncing that your e-mail accounts are unified within the same inbox. I don't want this! How can I avoid it?
I want to read my private e-mail and also my work e-mail, but I defintely do not in any way want those to to mix!
Inbox private, inbox job - isn't it possible?

It would be perfect to be able to just have an option to DISABLE the unified inboxes. I don't want to have to navigate to see my default mail account.
In addition, I sync with MS Exchange and use server side rules that move emails to different folders and as such I don't want to see my inbox as the default I want a different folder.
Please APPLE - don't impose features on us without the option to disable them. You don't know best, everyone has their own working practices, so please give us the option to configure the **** mail application to allow us to use the features we want and not use those we don't want.
surely it's a simple request - let your customers use the APP the way they want to and not the imposed/forced way YOU want us to.

Multiple Exchange accounts possible?

Is it possible to configure multiple Exchange 2007 accounts in Mail? I tried it but it doesn't work. My emails got messed up.

I also have this question. In my situation, I have my personal account on Exchange, but I also monitor our Support Helpdesk emails which is on another Exchange account. How can I add that one as once you add one Exchange account, you cannot add another in Mail 4.2. Advice??

Group/Country Account definition know-how

Hi,
1) How do we create Group Account number and Country Chart of Accounts (Alternative A/c) number?
2) Is it centrally using FS00?
3) Is it at Chart of Accounts level using FSP0?
4) Is it at Company Code level using FSS0?
5) If they are defined at COA levels how do we pull the data into the reports? Which reports we can generate using these COA level accounts?
6) What will be the retained earnings account for the Group COA?
7) What will be the retained earnings account for Country COA?
8) Is retained earnings account created centrally? If this is created centrally, which company code this is relevant to?
Any post would be muchly appreciated.

I hope I remember this correctly.
In the account master data there are three fields, but some of them may be hidden for the user in customizing.
1.) local account number
This is the account number which is either entered by the user during posting or set in customizing for automatic account determination. It will also be stored in the accounting document and can be analyzed by you, your financial statement auditor or you tax auditor. Usually this is you local country specific chart of accounts.
2.) group account number
You can enter a group account number for each local account. Later you can display a balance sheet and an income statement for the group chart of account using the report RFBILA00. I think in addition, the group account can be used in automatic intercompany transactions.
3.) alternative account number
You can use the alternative account number field for the group account number instead of the group account number field. However, this field only allows you to display a balance sheet and an income statement with RFBILA00 showing the group chart of accounts, but you cannot do more.
If you use transaction SE16 to display the table SKA1 (general ledger accounts) and press F1 after clicking on the three fields you will get the SAP help for the meaning of those fields which should tell you most of what you need
General Ledger has two segments i.e.,
1. Chart of Accounts Data (T.Code= FSPO)and
2. Company Code Data (T.Code =FSSO)
GL account master records are divided into two areas to that company code with the same chart of account can use the same GL account. The chart of account area contains the data valid for all company codes, such as Account Number.
The Company code specific area contains data that may vary from one company code to another, such as the currency in which the account may be posted.
Lets, suppose there are not segment both the segments are combined, at that time it will become difficult to copy the Company Code data because the fields may vary in company code. for example Currency, though you have same Chart of Account Data.
Because, GL Accounts has two segments, it will be easy to copy Chart of Accounts data from A company code which matches your requirement and Company Code data of B Company code and you can create a separate chart of account in C company code.
To copy Chart of account data and Company code data seperately, see Alternative method of creating GL Master in IMG screen.
Retained Earnings:
Each Profit & Loss a/c is assigned to a Retained Earnings Accounts via key. We have to entered this key in the P & L statement a/c type field found in the chart of a/c are of each P & L a/c. Normally, Companies use one Retained Earnings a/c. For this reason, X can be denoted as the key.Transaction Code = OB53

I worry about allowing Mail to automatically set up accounts, and know that in some cases it makes mistakes. But in some starting panels of the set up that can be deselected, but some times it is not offered?
I have not had time to test setting up an email account for the first time in another User Account, but will soon. Since I did an Upgrade install, my accounts were done when I started.

Messages retrieval from closed account possible?

Written chat messages from a closed account are needed for defense in a lawsuit.
Is it possible to reactivate an account that was closed more than 90 days ago?
If not, are the chat messages still stored in Skype's database?
(Or should I contact NSA? Just kidding)
The plaintiff in a lawsuit purposely closed their account as the written messages are damaging to their case.
In short, is there a way to get those messages?
Any assistance that the community can provide is greatly appreciated.

Well, I thought I found a solution in the archives here: Import the old messages from within Mail. Had no doubt that would work. Well, it didn't. Though all the old messages were Apple Mail messages, when I tried to import Mail said, "No valid Apple Mail files were found." Tried importing them as mbox files. Same result.
IMAP has advantages for people who check mail from more than one device, or for multiple users of an account. Not having been forwarned by AT&T that I was going to be switched from POP to IMAP, it has been a big headache for me. And it clutters up the sidebar with a changing collection of folders, including many that seem redundant, and some whose purpose I can't, in my ignorance, imagine.
Supposed to get a call today or tomorrow from a unit in AT&T that is "specially trained" to handle problems like mine. We'll see.
I sure would like to get help from somewhere.

Want to have two iPhone's syncing to one iTunes account - possible?

I flip between the US and UK - I have a UK iPhone but am about to buy a US phone - I want them both to sync to one account so they replicate each other - can this be done

I can also state that yes you can do this as I have 2 iPhone's and an iPod touch synced to the same account. I've split the apps between the 3 to better manage my content i.e. (movies on one phone, games on the iPod, and music and podcasts only on my main phone.)

I have a question regarding G/L reconciliation accounts
-Are they only linked to subledgers AP-AR in the customers/vendors master data? I mean for one customer i only have 1 reconciliation account (receivable from customers), i can' t have more than 1 reconciliation accounts (except Special G/L indicators such as down payments, or bad debt etc.)?
ex : what can i do with the following exemple?
I have customers who are my policy holders (we are an insurance company).
I can pay them sometimes commissions and sometimes a profit sharing.
So i have 2 G/L accounts :
-Payables to policy holders -direct business
-Payables to policy holders - profit sharing
in my customers master data I can't affect these 2 accounts at the same time to my customer...So what am I supposed to do?
Affect the first one as default in the master data, and define the second one as a special G/L indicator?
I currently have quite a lof of detail in my operational Chart of a account and I don't know how to manage this?
Is there only the special G/L indicators solution?
Do you know if there are some recommandations regarding the special G/L indicators use? Can we create easily as many special G/L codes (and accounts) as we want? Or do you have a best practice?

you can use A--Z; 0-9. If not enough, some customers are using "=, <, (, !, $, &, -" ect.
In you case,suggest you to use alternative reconciliation account function.
Alternative reconciliation account can be maintained in Tcode:OBXY), and in FS00, tick the u201Crecon. acct ready for inputu201D flag for reconciliation account which is maintained in Tcode:FD02, then go to Tcode FB01, when you enter customer line items, the reconciliation account can be changed.

Skype Account possibly hijacked

I was making a Skype call yesterday and got bumped off while it was ringing. When I tried to log in again. I got an error message saying that my username and password were not recognized. When I tried to reset my password, the system had no record of my e-mail addresses - any of them.
Today, I created a new account and then looked for my original username using "Add Contact". It showed up with someone else's name attached to it.
What should I do?

Unable to access account (possible hijacking?)

A few days ago I was unable to access my main skype account. The password recovery system straight up does not work, saying my email has no account associated with it. When I tried making a new account with that email, though, it said the email was already in use.
No amount of password recovery will help me with my issue, as it's just stuck in a robot loop. If I could talk to a human being about this, maybe I could get my account back. Please help.
