2 days of blank screens and resarts

Hello,
I have been freaking out for two days because my iBook G4 1.33GHz has been acting erratically.
At first the screen just went black. I tried restarting but nothing changed. I would hear the fan for a short moment but no video. I could hear my emails coming in and the volume sound when I hit the volume keys. The caps lock and num lock lights would also turn on. But I had no video.
I tried the Apple support recs of resetting the PRAM and PMU. Same problem persisted. One time, I even got flashing screens of color (red, green, yellow).
Every once in a while, it would actually start up with video. I would try to do a few things and then it would freeze. Then back to same old blank screen.
I tried with the battery in, out, drained, fully charged, plugged in. No difference.
This morning, after a couple restarts, it finally worked. I backed up everything and started to use as usual. It would freeze every once in a while, but the video was back most of the time. I got through day having to restart several times and several blank screens again. I even got a few crazy screens of various lines of color. Didn't look good at all.
Still having to restart often but at least I am getting intermittent use. I am dependent on my computer and looking for a solution.
I will try to get to a Genius Bar some time in the next couple of days but was hoping someone could give me some thought son what is going on. Other forums seem to think there is something wrong with iBook G4 logic boards and soldering connections. If anyone has any recommendations or thoughts, please pass along.
Thanks in advance,
Rodrigo

Just got my iBook back today. They replaced the logic board in two days. I went to pick it up but my Airport would not work in the store. So I gave it back to them. They told me this morning that they had to re-attach the airport but then realized my harddrive was failing. So they replaced it and transferred all my files.
Got it home and it was working fine. Started doing all the necessary updates to get it back up to speed. But when I restarted, I got the flashing question mark with the intermitent OS face. I keep restarting and every once in a while it works. I followed the support recs of doing a disk repair through disk utility. First time, the harddrive did not mount. After I finally got it to work, same flashing question mark. Did the PRAM thing and started with holding x. Tried to do startup manager but nothing showed up.
Just restarted and it worked but I am guessing this is not for good.
Any thoughts? Did they mess up the harddrive install? Do I need to reinstall OS? Any risk to everything on the harddrive?
Thanks,
Rodrigo
