2 errors when trying to install cs4 on windows 7 ultimate x64

I downloaded the trial version of PS cs4 to try out on my new laptop. Its a clean install of windows 7 ultimate x64. I gets maybe 10% into the install and i keep getting these errors...
Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CS4
Error:
Error 1612. The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.
Adobe Output Module
Error:
Error 1610. The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel.
If somebody could shed some light on what i can do to make this work that would be great. Ive tried redownloading the installer probably 4 or 5 times now. Ive tried running in compatability mode and ive made sure its being ran as an administrator.

Some of CS4 might be installed so you will need to run the clean script.

Just install photoshop and bridge only. You can install the other stuff later on (not need to run bridge nor PS anyways)
Do the install only on C drive too.

recommend that you attempt to resolve this issue by uninstalling iTunes and QuickTime, and then reinstalling the latest version of each. To do this, first ensure that you are logged in to an Administrator user account on your computer, then follow the instructions in the appropriate article:

Error when trying to install iTunes with Windows 7

I am using windows 7 on my laptop and when trying to install iTunes i recieve the following error message
Apple Application Support was not found.
Apple Application Support is required to run iTunesHelper.Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.
Error 2
After uninstalling and re-installing iTunes, the error still occured.
Anyone any ideas how to solve this?

I'm trying to install itunes on a machine with windows 7 and keep getting the error that installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory c:\programdata\microsoft\windows\startmenue\programs\itunes. I am logged in as an administrator. Does anyone know how to fix this. Thanks,

Everytime I try and install iTunes it come up with an error 'The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavaliable' It allows me to enter an alternative path but I am not sure what I should be using?

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

What is the error? Are you following the Bootcamp instructions? Where on the "internet" are you trying to install from? Did you try downloading from here http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/downloads/?

How to resolve message "Installer database is corrupt" when trying to install CS4 on Win 8.1?

I purchased a disk set of CS4 a few years back and have recently purchased a new computer. When trying to install CS4 on the new computer, I received an error message saying "Installer database is corrupt. Please contact Adobe Customer support." Called "customer support" and after a VERY long time and three transfers, I was told "Too bad, we can't help you. Maybe download a new copy?" So I did. When trying to install the fresh download, I received the exact same error message: "Installer database is corrupt. Please contact Adobe Customer support." [Edit] I mis-spoke. The OP and another user with the same error WERE helped. What I saw initially was yet another poster, who was going to contact Adobe, but never came back to the thread. In the case of the OP and another users, the issue was caused by having Adobe Bridge, included with other Adobe programs, like Photoshop and Premiere Pro, running. When they killed that, the installation went well.

I checked the program in discussion just for the heck of it and it works. But when using the Adobe applications manager it says not correctly installed. So I don't know what is going on there!
It is just unappreciated to have people like Mylenium give such unhelpful replies to customers who are really keen on learning and using your new products.
(I must probably add that I have tried installing the demo version of Photoshop CS6 when it was just released and caused a serious error. And when I wanted to uninstall it, the uninstaller suggested I use Adobe removal software to remove the demo software... this also did not work properly and I’m still stuck with a error message every time I log on to my windows account)
